Hey guys, it's a deja welcome back to my channel, so I haven't gone for so long, but I'm back so today, I'm gon na be recreating my first viral here's, the soil that I made on Instagram. If you don't know about it, check it out. It'S my crochet half up half down hairstyle that update on Instagram. That was my first video that, like really helped me gain a lot of exposure on Instagram. It made me fall in love with hair tutorials, but I would make you guys and now I just can't stop. No, no, it's fun me so hope you guys enjoy the video and, let's get to it. So my original crochet, half up half down style had the Havana and Mambo twist hair, but today I wanted to choose a different type of hair. I found this hair at the beauty store today and I fell in love with it. It'S more curly like I don't know how to explain it. It looks like Beyonce's half-up half-down. She had that hair. It looks just like that. That'S what I was going for, so the mama twist at that moment was like the perfect hair for me, but this is way better. This is the rule. Water wave 18 inch crochet man, but this pool looks like it's pre stretched and there's three vaults in the package and mine is in the color 1b. I think I'm gon na be using all four types of hair, but I just bought more just in case so I'll. Let y'all know at the end, how many packs I use. The first thing I did was, I braided the back of my hair and I sectioned off the ponytail part, which I parted from ear to ear. So these are the braids and I'm just gon na crochet, the hair all across these braids. So I'm gon na work on the ponytail first and I'm just gon na do single my hair with this Tara brush, I'm just gon na sweep the ponytail with some piranhas. So I plan on using a combination of the ebin edge control and sera G's Henson's new hair line. I know that there's like a lot of mix movies about this line, but like the edge control there edge control that stuff works. This works okay. So with these two products, I'm gon na sleep, my hair into a ponytail and I'm gon na also use this war bristle paddle brush and just get it as sleek as possible. I'M just gon na take this edge brush and I'm gon na brush out. All of my edges that I want to lay as baby hairs as baby ears, just the edges that I want to be leave. I'M gon na taste, the sriracha, P, Henson slick, edge control and instead of just using this cat, I'm gon na take the cat off because that's difficult to get out and I'm gon na put some in one my hand, just slap it on get a rat tail. Comb and just comb out the roof as you're applying the edge oh yeah, so it's gon na get it right. Yeah, I'm gon na double this up, so I can be as tight as possible and I'm gon na put it in a ponytail whoa. All right. We got a ponytail so now I'm gon na grab some spree spray, so my hair can stay in place now. I'M gon na do my edges really quick me with the even edge control and what I like to do when I do my edges and I like to put the edge control on directly with my finger and I smooth my edges down side before I like. You know do like the little swoops oops, it's just easier for me and I'm gon na use my toothbrush. I'M gon na use the rack strips to let my hair dry and set in place now. I'M gon na do my son and I'm just going to detangle my ponytail again and put it into two braids and then put it in a bun. I'M gon na braid my hair, a little tight. So when I put the crochet here in it'll stay and it won't come out, then I must take a rubber band and place that on the end of the braid, so it definitely won't come out all right. We got our ten wheels and now we're gon na put the braids into a small button just to secure that I'm gon na put another rubber band over the top of the bun. So it will not come out now we're gon na move once a crochet in the hair, I'm gon na start with the back, and I'm gon na make my way to the ponytail. So this is the hair of the package is really bouncy. It is so soft and like it's shiny, but it's not like synthetic shiny. If you know what I mean like it's a natural shine and so far I love this day like it's really soft, like it feels like my hair, like. What'S that deep conditioning and like blow-dry, my hair and it's all soft, and I just wanted to show you all what I was talking about when I said when you separate the curls, it's like it's even prettier like this crinkly texture that, like I already know, it's Gon na look bomb with I do this style. I want this looks at me full and fluffy. So, let's just see how many packs that's gon na take to get it to me holy I'm gon na start with the back I'm gon na taking one piece at a time. Hopefully, y'all know how to crochet. If not I'll, show you real quick. So I had the hair in my hand, on my left hand, yeah, I'm a right-handed, so I haven't or she's crocheted put the crochet needle through my braid to make sure the hook part is open and then I'm going to hook the crochet here at once to The crochet needle and then close the hook and pull through open the hook back up and then make a hold my finger with the pushing here and pull the rest of the hair through that and pull. So I can make enough and it's thank you leaving up. Don'T daddy, okay imma keep going okay, so I'm even halfway done and it's already so full so like hmm, maybe I'm putting too much on each braid, like maybe I needed like space it out some more. So I'm gon na try that on her next complete because it's already getting so full and I'm not even halfway done yet that scares me so I'll, be right back. I finished the back and it only took two packs to finish the back, which is great and it's so cool, and I already know it's gon na be even fuller once I pluck it out. So this is a two inches, so that reaches my lower back. So now I'm gon na move on to the ponytail part. This is the part that I need to take step by step, because I see a lot of curls on Instagram have DM me, but playing they had trouble doing this part, since it was so sped up in the Instagram video. So I must slow it down and we'll bring it down step by step, so y'all can get this right on the first. Try: okay, alright, let's get to it! So my bunnies to here make sure your bun is secure before you start crocheting the hair on to the button to make them on sale, because if not, then the whole bun is gon na fall apart and the hair, the closer hair is gon na fall. Apart with you and triple at that point, we're gon na crochet this take the hair all around the bun, so it can fully be covered. So I'm gon na take the piece of crocheting here and I'm gon na start at the base of the bun and start crocheting here right there. So wherever I can get into is where I'm gon na crochet, I'm gon na start splitting each piece of hair Institute, because we don't need that much for the ponytail. Because then it's going to start feeling really heavy on top of your head and it's gon na give you a headache. I do the same thing all around the button, split it into two and crochet and when I'm doing the back, I'm just feeling around the bun see if there's any holes that I need to fill with the crochet here and then that's where I find the right Space to put the crochet here in the back, because I'm not using the mirror for the bad job, if I'm not using married yet on the Emmure either. Okay y'all got this okay, we got this we're going through it together. We have it. Please don't forget to do the top of your button. That is crucial. We need all of the bias to be cover when I do my hands up, half down ponytails are just any pony. So in general I like to read like a piece of hair around the base of the ponytail. I just think it's cute, so I take one full piece of hair and I just put that at the very back over the point tail on the base, so that can be the hair that I use to wrap around the pond so get out the way. So I can see that for last pixie you can't even detect. Oh look at that accent. Southern! Oh! You should not be able to see your bun at all when you flip your ponytail over once you're done crocheting all the hair. If you see any part of your ponytail, it needs to crochet the hair and the space is where it's visible. We don't need nobody clocking that so I'm good, I'm straight so I'm before I wrap it around, I'm just gon na brush it out a little. You don't have to do this, but I don't really want it to look curly around the base. I want it to look like straight. If you know what I mean, I don't want to have any crinkles well as little to no crinkles as possible. Well, you are gon na stretch it out, so it shouldn't have pebbles in first please, but now survived a piece of hair around the base of the ponytail you're going to need free spray to make you stay and you're gon na need a bobby pin just to Secure it even more so stretch off the piece of hair, get your free spray and just spray along the inside part, where it's a no late. Take your bobby pin when you're at the end of the piece of hair I like to bend mine cuz, you like lays flatters to me, and I just pin it going nowhere and make sure your bobby pin, isn't sticking out when you do this now, it's time For my favorite part we're gon na fluff out the hair, I'm gon na start with the back, then just split this in half and start fluffing it out. Let'S start from the ends and then separate so like see the difference when you fluff it out like this. Just looks like really speak to me. I don't know, that's just my opinion but like when you fluff it out. It just looks like a braid out like a fresh right out. I'M done flipping it out. This is how it all look. I know this is a lots of hair, so I am going to trim it a little bit and just layer it. I really love this hair like it's so soft. It feels like real version. Like I don't know like some Malaysian deep curly hair, you would think I have some 18-inch Malaysian do curly hair in my head and I don't I'm just gon na go down. Diagonally like this to create layers and what the ponytail out sees the base out. A little bit just to make you a little more fluffy, I think we did it y'all all right. So I went some bathroom and I finished cutting my hair and my desired cut. I did have to take out a few pieces in the middle and the back section because it was like too thick. Let me take the rap strips off and reveal these edges. I usually just take a silk scarf to lay the ponytail down, and then I take this huge bonnet to cover up the back portion of my hair. That'S it just a silk scarf and a large Bonnie, so protect your hair at night, and you should be good. This is my recreation of my heads up: half down crochet style. If you do this style, make sure you tag me any or leave me a picture cuz, I'm gon na post. You guys on my story. I just want to thank you guys for just show me, love and just making me fall in love with doing hair and finding my passion and that's all thanks to you guys. So thank you so much for watching and I will see you guys next week. I promise alright bye
