My Everyday Hair Routine + How To Put Hair Extensions In Short Hair

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, I have a very crazy hair. This is actually my natural hair and I look like freaking Mufasa from Lion King. I completely forgot to do this in the beginning, but it's ever from the future. There was a new March. Look at me dis me. Obviously it I have elite influences. I rarely ever blow-dry it. Usually I let it naturally dry just because it is so processed. I don't like to put heat on it that much so I try to use and cut corners wherever I can. I'M just gon na show you guys how I do my hair, which products I use and how have my hair extensions in. So if you guys have a short hair like I do, keep watching and that's just getting to it. The first thing that I'm gon na do is start by putting the products in my actual hair, so my hair is freshly washed, obviously, which is why it's curly and crazy. The main products that I usually use are the when it's wet I'll put in my Pravana nivo intense therapy, leave-in treatment. This is a leave-in conditioner and it honestly it helps my hair so much, but I do really really like curved on our products, especially if you have very like damaged dry hair. Moisturizing products are great, all their products are, but this is really nice, especially for curly hair. I feel because curly hair usually is a little dryer. Next I use the sebastian sublimate invisible, finishing cream. This is just a styling cream, so usually this product goes on dry hair, but I do sometimes put it in wet hair. I focus it more towards my ends and I don't take that much. It'S just a small amount. I focus this more on my ends. I don't really like to put a lot of product near my root just because that means I have to wash it quicker and sounds really dirty. I wash my hair. I promise I just feel like when I put products like right on the root it gets oily faster. Next I either use this finola nutria care reconstructing fluid use this today and like the other one, I just take a very small amount because you could always add more, but if you want to take it out, you have to wash your hair. So these are use that or the bio silk silk silk therapy. Usually I use the original, but this is the organic coconut oil and it smells divine and then for a heat protectant. Usually I use that bio soap, silk therapy and I'll spray it when it's wet and then also again when it's dry. I don't know why. I do that honestly. I don't think it makes a difference. I just like I don't know. I get scared with my hair. Okay, what you're going to need is a brush. This is a you get a brush and a clip. This brush is Harry Josh. I got it at beautycon, I'm going to start to section my hair, so I'll take a small piece on the bottom. I usually part with my nails, but I've been declawed, so I'm using the clip but I'll take like a small section like this and straighten it. How I straighten I use, I don't know if this is the correct terminology, but I use the chasing mess. So what I'll do is I'll? Take the brush and brush the section that I'm about to straighten and kind of hold it, get the hair and then hold it with my finger and take my flat iron and as I'm, going down and move the brush along with the flag and then so then Again on this side, excuse you on this side. Take this brush is specifically really nice because it has a lot of fine bristles. So there's a lot of tension on the hair, so you're getting like a very like soft smooth finish because you're not dealing with any knots or like any stray hair like if it makes sense it's holding the hair very taut. So it's giving the Flatiron the opportunity to really like straighten the hair. So then I'm gon na take my next section. I don't like to take too big of sections, usually throughout my whole, head I'll, take about five sections, so this is my second. I don't like to take sections any bigger than this only because I don't want like curly roots, because, as you see, my hair is very curly, also with a flat iron. I don't put it past 380, because damage, and also I find that this does a really good job on its own kind of past 375. I don't really see much of a difference and for 25, I feel, like I'm frying, my hair, so I like to stay lower, but the trick is to go in a slow, steady motion, because, if you're going quickly like this throughout the hair, it's not gon na. Do the same thing as it is? If you take your time, I don't know, I went to cosmetology school and I still don't understand half these things. So just trust me. Third, a section. The third section usually is right around where my temple is: I'm just gon na speed it up from here, and you guys can just watch and learn and then for the last section, it's already kind of parted down the middle I'll either take a comb or a Clip I'm just gon na take the clip and part down the middle and I'm just gon na straighten these parts, so this is a little thicker, so I'm just gon na separate them. So once my hair is all straightened I'll go back in with whatever serum I decided to use for that day and take it like a small like one pump, and I like to put that in when my hair is straightened. If it feels drier, I mean I love my hair. Both ways don't get me wrong. I just prefer it straight. We only smoke. We cannot pass, which is straight hair or m/c. Are you getting back together either? So now I'm going to move on to the extension portion, 90 % of the time that my hair straight, I have extensions in so I'm just gon na show you guys how I do that my hair extensions are from mini house. I have been using this specific brand of hair extension for like three four years and I always come back to them. They'Re great, I do have a coupon code. It is in my description. This comes with two two-piece sets. Two three-piece set to four piece sets and two single sets, so what I mean is like by the number of Clips I start with the both two pieces on the bottom portion. First, set goes very, very close to the bottom of my hair line, just because I have short hair and it feels that it hides it a little better so literally like that amount of hair. That'S where she's going then I'll take the hair extension and just give it a quick brush through. That is the first two and now I look like I have a really weird Willoughby, second, to go more on my sides, so these go right above my ear. So it's section it and sometimes all adjusted depending on where my clips are that day and like what style my hair is in, etc. I start like right behind or above my ear clip in and then I will take on this side as well and do the same thing the for clip set so very close to my part, so I'm gon na do the left side. First, I take kind of like a u-shape for my part, so I don't know how well I'm gon na be able to show you, but essentially that is what part looks like it's probably a little messy because, like I said, I'm not used to not having any Nails, I also pull this hair back and then clip it, so it kind of hides the shorter section then for my last two pieces, usually they go right behind my ear so that you can't see my actual hair peeking through like right here, which is very annoying. If you have short hair, all of the hair extensions are in I'm gon na give it a really good brush through make sure lips start secure, make sure nothing's like peeking out. I don't think I'm gon na stray in it today because I did curl it. The other day - and it has a little wave to it and it looks very natural and pretty, but I am gon na put some product in it. The product process is generally the same with my hair extensions when they're wet, I do the leave-in conditioner and then the same process with whatever serum I'm using or whatever styling gel or serum I'm using. Usually, though, I wash my hair extensions like once a week or every like it just depends how often I wear them and if I like, sweat a lot while they were on, if I only wore them for filming like stuff like that, so it just depends. Usually you can feel like when they need to be washed, just like your own, normal hair does. That is how I straight my hair. That is how I put my hair extensions in. If you guys are wondering what flatiron I use it is the Chi lava. If you have damaged hair, I rarely strongly recommend this pattern because it holds heat so you're able to put it on a very low setting and still straighten your hair and have it look good? It is a little expensive. But to me this is like an investment for my hair to have it last a long time and the last flatiron I had lasted me for three years and it was a less expensive one, not that that's.
