If all i could i'll make a deal with the hair guards and i'll tell them to swap out places man, why are you on that hill? In the first place? That'S a great question, hello, beautiful people welcome back welcome to. As you can see, we are back with act, one scene, two, the resolution um with the style that i ended up, creating in my lowest moment and, as you guys can see, i have my game face on. I didn't even film a high hello, a happy wave because i just had the camera on just like just to just cuz, just in case i actually came up with something that would look relatively. You know good or pieced. Together. I had an idea in mind and i had no form a bit more direction than before, and you know i was just gon na go ahead and put things to the test. So first i went ahead and i formed just like slicked down my hair, not too super slick and i'm actually trying out the pattern um slicking gel. I have some got to be glue on the side um or got to be just like in case, but i really didn't want to use it because i saw that the main ingredient in there was alcohol and y'all know. I got this colored hair, so i was just like if i, if this pattern slicking gel like, is exactly what it says. It is then, maybe like we in business, okay, so i went ahead and applied um a little bit of the gel just to the top um, because, obviously the first ingredient. This bad boy is water, and i didn't really want my hair to completely revert back and then i went in with my smoothing brush and just smooth everything down and gathered it up with my brush. My hair was relatively detangled but, as you all know, my hair is sticky on it and i i don't really like those little bumpy bumps. This is not a speed bump um. I don't like that in my hair, so i earlier went in with the tangle teaser to just make sure everything was like smooth. I don't do that whole layer and smooth layer and smooth. Don'T nobody got time for that? Okay um, but, as you all can see, i was pretty excited because it actually did get my hair pretty slick, especially since i did not do all of that extra layering and stuff, like that and honestly truth be told. I don't know how y'all be sleeping with all of that hair in the scalp, but as soon as i have my hair slicked and i took it out - and i saw the back - i was like hold on wait a minute. Okay, hold on you see how about everyone says, you know: what's up hold up um, i i kind of had an idea and i decided to run with it because originally i was gon na throw that in braid, but i decided to work with my hair and Just make something shake i'm taking the most depth most most death am, i is am i am i saying that correctly or am i thinking of death jam most most wait. I have to do some research most deaf, oh no, that is definitely a rapper. I'M. So sorry, the dude - i see it and it's crazy because i'm doing this voiceover and i can see i can see the the product and yet so quickly did that information elude me. But i took the do um because it said it was humidity resistant yeah. It has natural humectants and silk protein to resist humidity and strengthen the hair, and i know y'all have been asking for hairstyles or tips and tricks on how to beat the heat with natural hair, because if we all could just do that, then well we'd be having A jolly good time, so i decided to give her a try, especially on blown out hair um, we're definitely playing with fire here. But i definitely decided to put this bad boy to the test because blown out hair is not my natural texture, so if it actually managed to hold not only the curl from the flexi rods, but also like not revert, my all the way back to my texture, I would be forever grateful um and, as you guys can see, i'm applying an a pretty decent amount and when i immediately applied, i was a little scared, because you can see that obviously there's water in this. That'S why i was like a little afraid to use gel and mousse things that have water, because it would revert the back to the original pattern. But i tried to stretch my hair as much as possible and you'll even notice, as i am wrapping them around. The flexi rod, i'm not keeping them super close and tight, like shirley curls, like i'm, trying to stretch them out like wand curls, essentially without having to use excess heat on my now, colored, probably already a little bit damaged from all the stressed natural hair. And i add a little bit more to the ends and then just fold. The flexi rods um, where that end, is to just try to hide it and close it and pray to the lord that it don't slip out um and i use the horseshoe method so that i can avoid using too much because, as i said, my hair is Thicky honor yeah and then, as i got towards the middle, i decided to opt out and use some orange perm rods, because i was running out of space baby. All them flexi rods was not gon na fit in my head, especially to have enough space for all of them to be able to breathe, um and dry in time. So i opted to the orange ones because i felt like they were so big enough to where the curls wouldn't be too too tight um, and i could still get that kind of like wand curl effect. If you will - and i am twisting and rolling twisting and rolling and as i got to the very top, i actually opted, because i really wanted like these curls. At least the bottom could be like volume or something if they kind of slipped out. But i really wanted my top layer curls to be those girl curls, so i actually wrapped it the old school way and by old school i just mean from bottom to top and then i then fold it in half still in the horseshoe way and then take The other piece and do it from top to bottom. I just say that the top to bottom is a little hard because the ends could slip out since you're not like starting with the ends and rolling them up. But just trying to ensure that you fold it in the area like right where your hair ends and i pull that thing really tight and add a little extra mousse for security um will ensure that they just don't roll out um roll up. Oh just a little ludicrous but um yeah, so i'm going back in with the gel and i'm staying away from the edges of my hair, because the first thing that causes your edges, one to not last um, is having too much product on it. So i'm making sure to stay away and i'm brushing out just the tiniest so tiniest bits. We are still in the summer a no reason for us to have water waves and bumps and speed bumps and curls and whirls, although in a moment y'all gon na see, i was you know a bit ambitious with my curls and swirls um and like right here. I'M just shooking on it because this pattern, gel, like i i've, tried it last year on my actual hair. But i was really shook at how it was working on blown out hair and the amount of like shine and sleekness and how it's not like. Reverting the hair back and how it's smoothing everything out down like miss girl, have i been sleeping? Has she been in slumber like wait, because i saw my i forgot what the edge booster gel. I was about to take that out and i smelt it and i had that gel from like before pre pre covered, and i was like this gel pretty pretty darn old, but i smelt it and i was like this smells like alcohol. So i was like we know better, let's use something better for the hair um, as you all could see. Like look at me. I said not to do too much, and what do i go ahead and do too much, but i'm just going ahead and taking my edge control. This is the kisha collections. K-I-S-H-A is always the same. One baby have not found another, and it will always continue to be that girl, um and then i decided to do my little swirly swirl and she was she was given. It was giving it was giving it was giving. You cannot tell me otherwise go ahead and take your squiggles and your wiggles and your hatred somewhere else, but the girls was kipping and then, on top of that i got a peep of this scarf moment and i was like worst case scenario. We could wrap this up and do a little scarf situation. Yeah, it was, it was getting, but i went ahead and wrapped the base of my hair, so we could set it um and i decided to go ahead and sit underneath a hooded dryer, because i really wanted to make sure these things set and as you guys Can see exactly what i was talking about if you do not like wrap the ends properly, starting from like the top to the bottom they can unravel, but it was a little there's, nothing but a little quick fix. I just went back in wrapped it a bit tighter added some more mousse and made sure to secure it, and i sat underneath the hooded dryer for at least an hour or so, and then i let it air dry for a couple more hours. This is like right before i'm about to go to sleep and do y'all see that base, i'm all about that got that vase no trouble. Okay, do y'all, see that but she's not playing. First of all, i highly recommend you at least set the gel as well, because i didn't even think about the gel set - and i was over here worried about these curls but yeah. I think the gel also setting under a little heat base. She did it. Okay, so i decided to go ahead and unravel because i thought about sleeping on this hair and i decided we were not going to do that not for my neck, not for my back, not for my soul um, so i decided to unravel them with the hopes That they were dry and as y'all could see, they were giving crispy curly. It was given curly fries um deep, fried curly fries. I was a little worried. I was a little scared because y'all know that ponytail y'all got from the beauty supply store. We'Ve all had that ponytail at one point or another, where you were permed natural or all the above during the ponytail movement. There was that one springy puff that we you've either seen it or you had it all and them curls was was was they was uniform. Everybody was in position, everybody was in formation, but that's what the curls was given and i just think it was like the amount of product and the fact that i was also working on dry hair because i feel like i've used to do before and it doesn't Come off as like sharp and crisp um, when i do it on my natural hair, i will say that it also said that this was like a fast drying. You know mousse and she definitely she was quick with it, quick and fast with it. Okay, that's furious. With it so once i went ahead and removed all the rollers and by the way i didn't use like any oil or anything i just removed them just so that i could keep the curls in place. This is what the back of my head was looking like, or the curls was looking like. The curls listen every once in a while. My color be showing out because when i tell you dimension, be making a difference, a difference because it listen hello and then i pushed it up to the top, because i was low-key, trying to figure out how i was going to preserve these curls but babies. I know you guys have been seeing the claw clip is coming back and i was like wait a minute. If this don't work out, we could just clip it up. We have options yeah, so i decided to actually take this net because in my head any time, i've ever gotten like a drawstring, ponytail crochet, anything that had like a curl they're, always in like a net to preserve, i guess the integrity of the hair from freezing. So i was like well what, if i just apply that same logic, but to my natural hair um. In this way, i can actually try to keep the curls like relatively springy um, instead of like laying on them, because if you watch my braiding curl stuff, you know like, as the days progress the curls elongate, so i decided to just wrap it up with my Bonnet - and this is what my hair was looking like the next day, i made sure to not like cover the curls um, as i slept in terms of like pushing it down um, they did like fluff up. I also didn't like twist all the way to the roots. I did keep my roots um a little bit more on the stretch side and i started to just go in and separate no oil or nothing baby. Like i said this thing was was doing crisp. Oh, i wanted to keep the curl and i didn't want to mess with whatever cast if there was like a cast, if you will um that the foam had left and i'm not gon na hold you, i was feeling i didn't know how. I was feeling because, like the curls were super super defined and, like i said, i was going for wand curls, but it's not bad for like the first day out, especially as time progresses, and you know i still have to go outside and test this bad boy Out but the curls were curling, even though you know i had unraveled the night before and i think they kept their shape so once i unraveled the hair, i decided to be bold and go in with a little pick just to bring out the fullness. For me, this is where i would probably get a little insecure and get a ponytail, or just because i really like big hair and i feel like it frames my face better um, because my face is a little bit more rounder. So i like big hair. I, like you, if you could see it from the front there, you could stay up front or back speaking of the back. This is what my hair looked like. When it was all done. Baby do y'all see it. Do y'all see the dimension on. Do y'all see the chocolate waves? Do you see the curls? Do you see the girls all right, you guys um. This is the final. Look. I'M actually obsessed, i'm a little bit obsessed and i don't know if it's the combination of me just getting my nose pierced. The glasses, listen lip gloss and lashes girls. I understand you, i hear you, i see you because i feel completely adequate enough, especially like if i wanted to be looking cute like during the day like to take photos and like be out and about baby. I in this heat i am not putting out one ounce of makeup and i feel like it's so normal for, like youtube videos, or you know, um creatives to like have the final look can't be just like you looking naturally and stuff. It has to be like a full beat down. Don'T get me wrong, i love it um, but i feel so cute and so pretty just with my lashes and my lip gloss, um and even my glasses. Normally, i would take my contacts off, but i feel like the new glasses. I have adds like an extra level of style and chicness and it doesn't actually take away from my face, so i feel like a cute little human resource manager. You know want to get involved now. I will say, as the heat in my house has been hitting it - i don't know if you guys can see i'm starting to get a little lifts and frizzies um. I still haven't decided which route i'm going to go because i am flying out tomorrow, and this is going to be my hairstyle for the weekend. I'M trying to think of what i can bring with me. That is safe um. It makes sense. So i have a couple of options. I could just bring the mousse um and you know allow this to set. I was going to spray my hair with got to be. The only thing i feel like is that, like i can't use this again, this would be a final seal situation which honestly i might do. I don't think, that's that bad so i'll see how my hair lasts throughout the day. Just with the pattern gel in terms of like my hair being set, though, that pattern gel did the god damn thing: i'm gon na go out the entire day, i'm going to be on the road, literally from probably like 12 to 6 p.m. So i'm going to go out on the road and see how my hair holds up and then we'll go from there, i'm finally back home. It is now 8 00 a pm um. I went out around 12 and i've been on the road since till 6.. When i got home, i'm not gon na hold you, i kind of forgot. I forgot how exhausting running from place to place to place to place is um and doing errands, so i had to take a quick little nap, but this is how my hair is looking. My edges are still there holding on for dear life um, so the curls are still intact in the back. I didn't separate too much and y'all know i didn't try to like do anything too, too crazy, but i think the curls look cute and i think they're intact and i'm actually pleasantly surprised with how flat my hair laid just considering the fact. The only thing i use is edge control and the gel, and probably what i'm going to do, is actually put some of the pattern gel in a little tube. To take with me. I personally like to use gels instead of like a got to be spray, because i feel like it's just so much easier to touch up if need be, and my edges held up even though um i didn't really set them these. This edge control is my tried and true, like this will weather no storm. I mean you guys, can see it even the little design in the front she holding on. She was she's ready to let go but she's holding on. So if i actually set this, this is a water-based gel, so um the best way for a lot of edge controls that i feel like people miss out, especially water-based edge controls. Is they need to set um so if you're doing it on a dry edge, you know, add some water, so it can reset, let it tie down and dry down and that's how you'll get the maximum amount of hold out of the edge control. Thank you guys. So much for tuning in to my style out of the ashes to upkeep the curls, i went ahead and just used the net method and tie down that base. As always, if you're loving me, if you love them, we ain't afraid of a little humidity z. Do not forget to subscribe down below, so you never miss an upload and i'll see all you beautiful people in my next video bye loves
