High Ponytail Braid | For Short Natural Hair

Hey guys welcome back to my Channel today, I'm going to be showing you how I created this braid or this look. I guess my hairstyle, whatever I've been given a lot of questions about that on, my Instagram did a video recently and you guys, everyone seen it yourself so go ahead and did a video on it. This is one of my favorite, like go-to kind of protective styles. On my hair, my hair is very still very short, so this is like a cool way to kind of like get that nice. You know long ponytail cuz. I got along here like this right now, so it's kind of a struggle for your girl, but I figured out how to do it. So if you guys are interested in how I did my hair go ahead and just keep on watching yeah, so I just washed my hair, but I'm gon na blow dry because it just makes it a lot easier to give that nice, sleek look especially with curly Hair in my hair, I have like a for a type here. I guess you could say for a 3c, I don't know where I fell in the skill. Honestly, I don't know, but I feel like basically it when I blow-dry my hair. It just helps it like slicked down better, so I'm gon na take my transformation, picks edges and I don't know why, but it just works so well, what's looking down my hair like in it leaves it moisturize and not so dry when I'm using gels. So I like to use this first and I'm just you know, beating the crap out of my head right now: umm, I'm brushing to my hair trying to get it as slick as possible, I'm using it all over my head and then I'm going to pull it Up into a top knot, so next I'm going to just lick it down and brush all the flyaways down as well. Then I'm gon na take some gel and I'm using the Eco style gel the argan oil one, and I'm just going to slick down any additional flyaways that I have next, I'm gon na be taking it this rastafari. I think it's called I'll put it in the scripture below, for you guys, I'm taking number 10 and number eight and I'm taking a rubber band and tie it around that knot that I created earlier and then I'm going to braid it all the way down to The bottom next I'm going to take that rubber band and I'm going to flip it towards the front. So the braid is going to be in the front of me because I'm going to be flipping, it back and you'll understand why I'm going to loosen up the braid in the top. So when I flip it over, it is going to give me this bun effect and then I'm going to take some hair pins and just secure it in the top around the ponytail that I have as the base doing it like. This will just secure it around the bun. If you have a lot of hair, you can just make sure that your bun is very, very small as small as possible that you can get it since I don't have a lot of hair. It just is easier. This way, so you can leave it like this or you can add some baby hairs, which I love aggregating hairs to my hair and I'm just gon na take the Hicks edges or transformation edges. Whatever knows exactly, and then I'm just gon na take this baby hair brush, it has a comb on the other side. You can find this at your local Beauty Supply, I'm not sure, didn't have like a specific name, but it's just so helpful.
