10 Minute Ponytail & Baby Hairs | Natural Hair Tutorial

What'S up y'all, so i have not done a hair tutorial in ages honey, but you guys asked a lot of questions about my weave ponytail. So i'm going to show you because i've been looking like a bum and tupac is tiring me looking like this too. So, let's get into this, so i just washed my hair. I blew it out, so that's why it's very, very manageable. Right now, i'm 100 natural just look at my old tutorials. My old videos you'll see how my hair has not changed a bit, i'm just letting it grow back out this year, so i'm not going to cut it. So you want to get a hair tie, a hair bow whatever you want to use for your hair. I love using a wet brush when brushing my hair because it doesn't snag it and we're going to use a ghetto booty brush. Yes, if you my day one, you know, i love me a gettable brush. It'S a hard dollar stove um hairstyle brush because it gets autumn naps in order and we're going to use a wet, a rat tail comb. This is heat resistant because i use this for my clients as well and just use a shampoo comb. If you need to it depends on how thick your hair is, but my hair is very very manageable when it comes to the wet brush. So i don't really need that white to calm, but just use that, as you can see, i'm just brushing it to the front. This is super easy. This should not take you more than 10 minutes, depending on the manageability of your hair, just doing a very, very loose ponytail, just to get my hair in position for it to be molded down to gel we're going to take that rat tail comb and pull out Your edges y'all, been bought here right here. I'Ve been about here right here. Look at my baby pictures. I ain't never had no hair right here. Ever ever ever. I don't rub frontals. Nothing. Put my ears out. I always been bald. Hair always been bald head again. I'Ve always been a bald head right now. So that's just you know kudos to my daddy because i have his hairline. Unfortunately recipes daddy, you gave me your little hairline but anyways. That'S how you know i'm his child, so we're going to brush that um. Those baby hairs or whatever you want to call it them, grown-ass edges to the front and we're just going to let it lay you use whatever gel you, like my hair, just likes the regular two dollar hairstyle hair gel. I don't use nothing special eco styler, don't work on my texture. For some reason it makes it very very curly, but this is the only gel. Yes, the very, very cheap gel, nothing special that lays my hair down. Just like i like it. I don't want it to be super hard, because the texture of this ponytail you're gon na see is really pretty, and i don't want, like a super hard molded ponytail. I want it to look a little natural, so this doesn't necessarily freezes my hair in place, which is fine. It just lays it down just enough like i like it, something that gave me lego, it's the original original original original batman. So once you work that gentle to your hair, we're going to go back with that hair tie again and we're going to tighten the ponytail this time because we're actually going to leave it like that, so a little bit tighter. Just so, you can grab those edges and grab the hair that you need and then we're going to go in with the hair tie again and do it one final time and that's going to be the final time we go ahead and make this ponytail. Now, the next time we do it we're gon na actually leave it there and make sure it's nice and tight, so we're gon na go back in with this wet brush, because it's like, i said we're gon na put this ponytail tie right back in place. Like i said, i do this because it just keeps it in place almost like. I got three hands when i do this with the hair tie, it just works for my texture. Again, everybody here is different, so, as you can see, i'm just gon na tighten this up, because we want to really make sure it stays and nothing gets out of place y'all, but so scared, it's gon na pop, because you see this ponytail holder is hanging on, But they're, like oh girl, but i made it girl. I made it james bond me wan na get that feeling something that give me that example we're just gon na split it in two i'm using pure coconut oil yeah. I don't use nothing crazy in my hair and how you know that it's natural 100 pure coconut oil, because it just says organic, coconut oil - on the back, there's no extra ingredients. So i love the trader, joe coconut oil. I have it for my skin body and hair. Then i have some for cooking, so it's just been my staple for years since i was in college, so i just stick with it and that's like the only oil that i really use on my hair, especially like the ends of my hair. It keeps me really really moisturized. I never had a problem with using coconut oil in my hair. I know some people don't like it, but it works for me. So i'm just simply putting coconut oil in the hair and i'm just doing some ugly little doodle braids. It depends on how thick your hair is. Maybe you can just do one of these maybe need two or three, but when i do two, it really allows me to wrap it very, very tight and as small as possible, so that the put drawstring heel fit just like. I wanted something so now that i made these two ponytails and i look 12 we're going to make sure we wrap it as tight as we can with another rubber band just so that it fits under the drawstring ponytail area. So once we do that, we're going to grab your favorite edge control, the one i'm using is glow beauty group. I love their edge control. Y'All know i'm not a huge fan of edge control on my hair, but since it's cooler outside i can get away with it and the trick to adding edge control with any type of edge control. All edge controls has the ability to turn white, but you have to apply on clean hair in this video. You will not see now one ounce of white residue, because my hair is completely clean. There'S no oil on my edges when i put the coconut oil in my hair, i only put it on the ends of my hair, so that's the trick to having your edge control last. A very long time is to make sure you apply it on clean, clean hair and also make sure your skin and your hairline is also clean, just think about as almost you're applying a frontal when you have to make sure your skin is clean, because any oil On it was going to it's going to interact with the chemicals and the edge control and that's what turns it white so just remember: to apply your egg control with no type of um products, or nothing or oil, or grease on your edges and you're. Going to see a huge difference and, as you can see, i'm just working my edges with the toothbrush, as well as the rat tail comb. This is freestyling y'all. However, you like do your edges, my sideburns are pretty long. I can't stand it so um you see. I'M brushing it down, but i ended up just brushing it all in the back, because i got time for all that it don't really look right on me. Anyways, so just work it in as much you can make sure you take small small scoops of edge control. Do not take a lot of edge control at a time. You really want to be patient and work each area with a small amount of edge control as possible. That is the trick to let's make something that give me that healing me. I don't want to tire told me: i light up the fire me wan na get that feeling something that gave me that healing me and that is my grown ass hairs y'all laid down like baby hairs, i'm 30 years old. So i refuse to call my edges. Baby hairs, i'm sorry i'm too old, but that is how i lay my edges for you guys who are asking me on instagram super simple they're glued to my skin they're, not moving at all and we're going to seal it with some hair spray me feeling bad I'Ve been looking like a to wish you hard tell my girls, they might come in them. Looking back with my, so you can use any type of holding spray that you like i'm just going to take my hair band. This is from walmart. I love their headbands for tying down because they're very flexible they're, going to put this on about 15. 20 minutes. Nothing serious. I love this wheat ponytail. This is from luxury dressed by fab. Y'All know her aunt's fabulosity is me my youtube girl for life. Yes, she sent me this ponytail like last year. I believe - and it is my go-to - it is so beautiful. It'S so convenient you can do so. Many cute looks with it in like 10 minutes, so i'm using her ponytail that she sent me and yeah. I just use it as a high ponytail, a low ponytail. I put it in a bun with a nice band and i'm not the dough y'all, it's just so great and it blends in with my texture. So well. So, as you can see, that's why i didn't want a very like stiff, molded, um hairline, because i wanted to really give me a natural look to match the wii ponyta trust me when i say you're the only one i feel for why i'm from a girl. Let me really try confuse me once you have the con secured we're going to take the jaw string part and we're going to wrap it around the actual ponytail area, and this is really going to secure the ponytail y'all like i don't pull this thing, my boyfriend And pull this thing and it don't come off so we're going to secure the jaw string ends with the um bobby, pin and yeah. Although you can't see we're going to take a little piece from the back area and we're just going to spray it with some water, i'm not going to use any hairspray on it because i just don't want to so just take some water to loosen up the Curl pattern a little bit and we're going to take that and we're going to wrap it around. The um part where we put the drawstring ponytail, hold the thing and just to cover it up like a typical ponytail. It'S the original original original original batman original and she is on the honey. So well we're going to add this headband from sparkle box: hey girl, hey tiffany! My rattler friend i'm about this from her boutique the other day and you can add a headband to this. You can add a scarf anything to it and it just looks so freaking cute, so i'm just gon na play with it. A little bit do like a tight little bun with some pieces hanging out. They call it a bohemian bun because you have a little messy pieces hanging out in it girl. If you want more like a puff bun with a little bit volume. Just take a little bit more hair and do a looser hole with the bun, and you got another little cute. One girl this one real cute yeah, this one really really cute.
