Super Slick Ponytail On Type 4 Natural Hair *3 Ponytail Options* | Easy Back To School Hairstyle

Hey y'all welcome to this video so today or this morning tonight, it's like two o'clock in the morning: okay, so today we're going to be doing a flick ponytail. I really love this hairstyle, but it takes a little bit of work to get the slickest ponytail. Your hair has to be soaking wet, so I'm going to go ahead and part my hair, just so it's easier and then we're gon na I'm gon na go and run it under this sink. So let's go ahead and get started. Okay. So now I've sectioned my hair, and this is like the sections that we're going to slick at a time so at the back and then middle in the front. I am doing a middle part so but yeah now, I'm just gon na go ahead and wet it. It'S much easier. If I just go and wet it, then trying to use the spray bottle. So so you have the back section. It'S really the easiest, I'm going to add some of this meal styling cream. First, I'm just adding this parts of it ends. If you plan on like wearing extensions, but you kinda, don't have to worry about styling the ponytail okay, so the back section is fairly easy to do now. Everything after this we're gon na want to detangle and like just really joked out so right here is where you wanted to suck how deep you want the middle part going so mines going like. As far as my ear is so the jokes I'm going to be using are the wet line, extreme gel first, the guts we glued gel last and girl - it's not coming in the middle, so I put the back section in a ponytail already and now we're in The middle section, so all this fits in the ponytail, so it shouldn't be that hard, but I'm just going to detangle it because the less tangles smoother it's going to be so I'm just going to add some of the styling cream to these sections too and then Brush it out, and then you see me Joe, the song's name is mailing for that new. Now we're at the front and it's basically a race against the clock. Now, because I haven't done this in a while, but you do that. The very top of my hair does not make it to the ponytail yet so he ought to be fast, so we can hear anything like lay this card. I really like to work in small sections in the front just so I can really work in the gel and you can get like the ways, because in the back you can tell they're kind of there, so I'm starting cream detangle. So I'm just gon na be doing styling, cream, detangle, wet line gel and then some gorilla snot on all of the front and then the got to be glued. It'S for, like the very top that doesn't really make it to the ponytail. So for each little section you want to redo your ponytail until you can do it like really tight. That'S just so your hair. Doesn'T I'm officially part of it all. My hair fifties on my ponytail Club, I'm so excited because, like I've literally made my softball trying to do, there's like a slick, hairstyle and um, making my punch with your tie because the hair is not reaching. But I'm also kind of sad because I wanted to do a tutorial where your hair doesn't reach all, but so I can't say if all of your hair doesn't make it into the ponytail have no fear. All you have to do is apply heavy gel. So, like all three of these gels, the wet lines and the gorillas and then the got to be like entire. If it's like this, I apply that to like the entirety of those sections and like lay it down, so that it's like sticking by itself and then once you get to like the end, put some bobby pins in like neatly and then hurry up without your scarf And so then, when it dries, you can eventually take the bobby pins out or leave in a couple, but you don't have a lot in and it'll have dried down. You have to make sure that it dries out. Okay, so I just add a little bit of the main choice, but in a few styling go to my ponytail, I'm just kind of like raked it through a little bit just to get some definition and then I'm just going to add this a haired side just To like stretch it a little bit. Lastly, I'm gon na find my big scarf on and let this dry so I'm just gon na go to sleep and then wake up and show you what it looks like hey, ah sigh not morning time and I have gotten ready so now, it's time to see What we're working with I actually looked at it this morning. Cuz I've changed my scarf pretty cute okay, so I'm just gon na go ahead and lay my edges and then we'll be all done, so I'm gon na just fix them with the edge booster. They got a little messed up with um. I'M gon na. Do my me good any time you use you go, I mean edge. Booster put some oil on top before you put your scarf on and you won't have any problems with it turning white. So then, the next one is using using barley, hair band down like how we had it before and there's different ways that you could put this in so like you could take individual pieces. This hair is a little different than the ones that I normally use, but you could take. You know how they like kind of the individual pieces and crochet it through your hair, if you crochet it and knot it and throw the heart to undo so, it's kind of like a 1-1 and done like you, keep it in for as long as you can And then you have to redo it okay, so I recommend the crushing you might there, but I don't want to wear this option today. So literally, you just take your pieces and stick the crochet needle through your hair and pull it out, and then you just go up your hair until it's as full as you want, and you can make it look as big as you want, or you can add It like the traditional way and take a hair tie and like this, this heart, this method is a little harder to get right, so I would definitely crochet it because sometimes it doesn't sit right yeah. So I always like tomorrow, because I need is one pack like five dollars and then you have like a really cute style. I mean you, don't have to buy like any bundles or anything like that, because, especially if you have kinky your hair buying like a pack of hair or like some kind of bundle, they know what we have that that matches the texture like it actually feels. It'S always too silky, so I've never been able to like find anything like the track hair that matches like, especially at the beauty supply. So unless you have some that would work yes, but otherwise a very inexpensive option is gnarly hair. The last option is some Carly's clip-ins or wefted hair. So this hair is from a launch. I'Ve done uses cooking a lot, there's a lot of stuff on my Instagram. If you want to see that, but they sell clippings or they offer clippings and they also have whatsit hair so, like I said it's always hard to find like what did here like in the beauty supply. So I even literally have to go like probably online somewhere and buy it, but it just looks like this and if you have clip-ins, obviously it's versatile because you can wear the clippings and mini styles. You can wear them down up or in a ponytail like this. So I'm just going to ban my ponytail again just like clip in and then wrap and then clip it in I mean if it's a longer place, I usually only cook the first and the last one and just wrap it around, so it stays kind of flat. So live in the first one and then wrap it all the way up and clip in the last one we're at room and I'm I need a bomb in it. I just bobby, pin the hair down and then added some bobby pins on the side. Just so was I'm gon na lift up while it's drying, but I'm probably gon na, take my sketchbook um. While I wait to leave today my mom's birthday, so happy birthday mom. I really like this curly when I've never had like icarly planted two like this, but as you can see them this in the Marley hair, it looks very similar. So that's why I always love doing the Marley.
