Today, we're going to be doing this taraji P Hansen inspired ponytail I've seen this ponytail on Instagram, and I asked you guys if y'all would like me to recreate it and y'all say yes, so I'm here to do it today. So, as you guys can see, I'm just brushing down my baby hairs and my edges because I do not want to jail those back and you guys will see why later so, I'm just going to go ahead and use some eco styler gel and I'm going to Apply that all over my head and then brush my hair up into a ponytail, but not too high up we're gon na put it like kind of like to the middle of our head, because that's how I Roger you had hers, and I just thought this - I Was so cute when I saw it, I was like oh my gosh. I definitely have to recreate this style yeah. I know I normally don't recreate style as much celebrity hairstyles that you would like me to recreate and I can get those popping for y'all. So, as you guys can see, I'm applying a generous amount of gel and then I'm just smoothing my hair and upward motion and making sure I get all of my hair into the ponytail, as you guys can see here so take your time, but try to move Fast, at the same time, you know what I'm saying so that your hair is super smooth because you don't want it to be bumpy or lumpy, because we want it to be sleek and then once it's in a ponytail, I'm just applying a little bit more gel Y'All see my hair is crazy. Remember when my hair was barely in a ponytail like time is just flying and my hair is growing, so I'm just gon na apply some moves on top of the Jill. I'Ve been really liking this technique of lately, but then I went ahead and applied a little bit of that to be glue free spray, and I'm just applying that around the perimeter of the ponytail just to ensure that my hair stays up around there, because sometimes it Will fall down and then I'm just going to apply my rep around scarf and I'm going to put on to just so when I sleep, my scarf does not come off so now this the men's day and as you guys can see, my hair is completely dry And everything is in place so now we're gon na work on our baby hair. So I'm just gon na brush my baby hair back down Suraj's baby here we're late honey, so we're about to get ours on point like hers, so I'm just gon na be using some eco styler gel first to lay down my foundation. So I'm just kind of doing mine's like swooped around at the front. Now this is an inspired look, so it's not gon na be exactly the same, but I notice on her sideburns. She had a little squiggly going on. So I'm just going to recreate that here and I'm just whipping my hair around and then I'm gon na loop it around with my red cell foam, as you guys can see. So you definitely have to pull out a little bit more hair than just your baby. Hair to achieve this, but, as you guys can see, is well right into place so make sure you guys get your baby hair really saturated with eco styler gel so that it will move around and then on top of that I just put edge control on it. I'M some boosters control, but I did the same thing to both sides, as you guys can see here. So now. I'M just putting my final touches on my edges and then I'm just gon na take a little bit of eco styler gel and put that on the very back of my head, because my hair is really soft back there, so it tends to like fall down. So that's what you guys see me doing here and then I'm just going to apply my scarf so that I can lay my baby hairs down, make sure they stay in place. While I apply my makeup so they hear that I'm going to be using is the premium purple, Pat from L tray. It is a big beautiful hair for a kinky and a color number two and it is track hair. So this is the closest hair that I can find to taraji ponytail. So this comes with three pieces, so we're just going to wrap this around our ponytail. I did of the left's doubled up and I'm literally just going to wrap them around so yeah y'all. Let'S get to it, so I'm just going to attach the hair the track here to my bun and then I'm literally just going to wrap it around. You know this hair already comes. Like short like this, I felt like it was like perfect, because Suraj's ponytail was really full, but it was like on the shorter side, so I thought this hair would be the best option. This hair is only like ten dollars, so guys make sure you check your local beauty supply store, but I will try to find a link and link it in the description box below, but they have different curl patterns and things of that nature. But I thought this one looks the most similar, so I'm literally just wrapping it around my bun and then pinning it into place and I'm just going to do the same steps for the other two bundles, because I wanted to be really full, lighter, ah geez. So now that we're onto the third track, I'm just gathering the other two so they're out of my way, and so what we're gon na do is just wrap it around and keep pinning it. You guys won't know where to put your pin just put them wherever you feel the most comfortable, because you don't want this to be uncomfortable, obviously, and guys. I slept him up on himself and it was comfortable. It didn't bother me or anything like that. So now that we're on the last track, I'm gon na gather all of the hair together and then I'm just gon na separate some hair from the bunch and we're gon na wrap that around the base of the ponytail just to hide the tracks. Although the track wasn't showing, I just feel like to make sure you know: I'm saying it's not gon na be showing you guys will see what we're doing this too later on and then I'm just going to take another bobby, pin and pin it into place. You know fix whatever parts I like left out, but I'm only doing like a thinning band, I'm not doing it really thick or anything all right. So I got this go vote for my beauty. Supply store and taraji has some girl rope around the base of our ponytail, so I'm just going to double it up and then I'm literally just going to pin it into place and wrap it around. The base of my ponytail, which I thought was such a cute edit touch you guys know like this girl world, has been super popular for a while now, so I'm just gon na go ahead and you know wrap it around or whatever and then pin it into Place and then I'm just going to go ahead and fluff out my ponytail and get it to how I want it to be, and then I'm just going to spray some oil on the base of my hair, because gel can make your hair look really dull. But yes y'all, so this is the final look. This is how my baby here came out. I think it looks so good. I absolutely love this style. I think I did a pretty good job, recreating serologies ponytail.
