Hey guys!

Hey guys is ponytail time, so I just wanted to come and show you guys really quick, how I get my hair to be any low, sleek bun out my ponytail. I needed a quick style to do for a birthday party and I just wanted something quick to do, because the next day was my wash day, so I just went ahead and decided to do a low ponytail. So right here, I'm just parting, my hair, in a direction that I wanted to go in and then I'm just going to section off my hair in the different sections. So I can begin the process of laying my hair down as a natural. We know that it's really hard to let your hair down without either flat ironing it or blow drying it. So it can be straighter. I could have rode ride it, but I didn't really want to so. I just wanted to come on and show you guys the methods that I use to get my sleek look. I'M I've seen a couple. People use this method and it seems to work for everybody. So let me know in the comments, if you guys have tried this or not so I'm just gon na start off with some eco styler and I'm not using any like creams or leave, is because I'm literally washing my hair tomorrow is only a one day style. So I'm just gon na put that all over that one section and then I'm gon na go ahead and brush it and put a scrunchie over it. So the first section in my hair is done, and I'm just literally gon na do that for my entire head and you can use as much gel as you want the more gel you used, the sleeker it'll. Look. I just wanted it to leave flat. That'S really all I didn't want it to look like. I had straighten my hair or anything like that, so yeah, I'm just using as much as I am comfortable with and then just going ahead and that down so here I'm trying to do like a little scoop size thing going home. I don't know why it was so difficult, but to get it, how I envisioned it to look, but I think it's because my hair started to dry up, which was fine. It ended up being okay, so I'm just gon na select that back and I had some like some little curled up parts in there. So you'll see me kind of like trying to flatten those off with my fingernails so yeah. If I could have any little parts in there, some people use like fine soup cones to kind of do that or like a Denman brush or something. But I didn't really care that much so now, I'm just gon na put that piece left out in the back and a bun. I would suggest so make sure the scrunchies you use have some stretch to them, because the struggle was real. These that I used, they barely had any stretch to them. So I was struggling now, I'm just gon na go in with some got to be glued and just kind of go over my entire head with that. Just to make sure everything is slicked down nothing. This guy moves throughout the night, so yeah you don't have to do. That. Step is totally up to you. If this slick already was just the eco styler or whatever gel you choose to use, then just leave it like that, but I just figure I go in with got to be blue just for that extra hole. So because I win and once I got to be glued over it and brushed it back, I kind of created a bit of a mess nut nut mess but like some hair kind of lifts it up in the back. So I'm just gon na take some pins and just pin that part down, so you won't see it and now it's time for the ponytail. So I got this from my local Beauty. Supply beauty supply store. Why can't I talk and I decided to go with black? Even though my ends are colored, I just wanted something different, so yeah. If you haven't seen a drawstring ponytail before it has two combs and it one for the top of your bun and one for the bottom of your bun. And then the drawstring is literally like the drawstring you're just loosen it kind of open it up, so you can put it over your hair and then kind of clip that into your hair over top of your bun, it's literally the easiest process ever so I just Do that and then I take the drawstring and I tighten it and I'm just going to put the clasp all the way up, just to make sure it doesn't move and then I'm just going to wrap that around the ponytail and secure it with a bobby pin. Then I'm just want to take a piece of hair from the deck and just wrap it around a point out to give it a nice finish. You don't have to do that, because if you can see the ponytail didn't look bad, it didn't look like it wasn't. Coming from my own hair, so you don't have to do that step. But if you can tell that you have like an attachment on your head, then you should probably do this part. So that's it! I'M just going to go in with a comb and just kind of fluff it out a little bit to give it some more body for my volume and then I'm gon na go ahead and put my scarf on and because my hair was damp before I started. This process, I'm just gon na sit under my dryer, so this is the finished look, it looks so cute y'all came out so cute. It blends in so well with my hair and it was so easy to do. It was cheap and I got so many compliments on it. So let me know if you guys have tried drawstring 20 self before or if you tried this sleek down method with your natural hair but yeah. I was fooling myself. I thought I was cute, but I thank you guys for watching and I will see you next time. Bye,
