What is up you guys, it's your girl c and i'm coming at you today with how i did a sleek um, extended pony on myself um. I started off with fresh hair, of course, blow dry and flat iron, and i will let you know the next step. So stay tuned straightening your hair is a major key for the sleekness of the look, don't focus so much on the middle of your hair, more so the perimeter on the outside edges, because that's you know, that's what you're going to see first so and the easiest Way for me um to do the sleek. Look i like to do it in two sections, so i you know i leave the front out and i focus on the back. As far as molding i spray a generous amount of got to be glued holding spray. All over the back of my hair and then i'm going to comb it through with a comb and then you're going to see me blow dry it just to pretty much perfect that molding of the hair, all right and now for the front of my hair. You see me right here, just um pardon that parting i'm gon na leave two pieces out in the front. So i wanted to make sure i got some space for that. So i'm going to pull that out. Braid it down kind of get it out of the way then you're going to see me start to mold the front of my hair for the ponytail and right here you see me just taking out a little bit of hair in order for me to do. You know a few baby hair, just to kind of you know, spice up the look a little bit. So that's what i'm doing here and i'm going to get to the molding process. You'Re going to see me spray a generous amount on the side and on the front of my hair. I'M also going to go in on my sides, as well with some got7 glue gel just to make sure that it's extra sleek and combing that, through with the rat tail comb, the rat toe combs work best for me, because the teeth are so thin. It'S like it grabs every piece of hair to set the molding all right and right here, you're gon na see me start to form my ponytail just making sure everything is nice and sleek. Before i go ahead and put my hair into a ponytail, and i like to use the um, the extra large on the thick rubber bands and they're going to also see me do a little trick here in just a second but yeah. I'M just sleeking everything up right here and once the ponytail is in, i like to do another quick spray. You know just comb everything in place and blow dry just for a little bit. You know a little bit more extra molding on top of the mold honey. I needed to be sleek now all right, so i'm going to go ahead and braid. My hair and um set it at the end with a rubber band, and this is just to pretty much the area where i'm going to sew um the bundle onto my hair to make the extended pony okay - and this is the trick that i was telling you About this is an extra elastic rubber band you're going to place that around the ponytail as well above the original ponytail that the actual ponytail is in, and this is to give it that high genie effect. You know when you do the wrap around towards the end. The rubber band helps it stay in place and not lean over from the bundle being too heavy on your hair. So the um that extra rubber band is just the security of keeping that pony in a high pony right here. You'Re, just going to see me cut those two pieces off of the little ugly pieces. That'S usually on the inside of the bundle i'm going to use that for my uh, my front pieces right here and then yeah right there. So yep i'm going to set those to the side and i'm going to get to sewing my bundles you're, going to start at the very tip where the rubber band is and work your way in and you're just pretty much going to sew it through the braid And through the bundle as well - and i like to do the wrap around to secure the thread onto the hair and pull tight, yeah you're, just gon na continue to do that, i say: wrap around at least twice. So it's one and then one more and then you're gon na put the thread through again. So i say: sew wrap, wrap, so wrap wrap, and i do that until i get to the rubber band, that's actually holding the ponytail in place and then i stop there. Okay, so now that that ponytail is sewn on, you are now going to get to the wrap around method, and you just pretty much pull a certain amount of hair from the back of the ponytail you're going to spray that. But you got to be glued spray. Just to hold that in place comb it through, of course, and you're going to start the wrap around method. This is to pretty much hide the tracks and to have the rubber band as well. So, each time you wrap around you're wanting to keep combing it through because sometimes it can get a little straggly you're going to comment through and wrap around and as you're wrapping and combing through you're, going to wrap upwards once you're. Halfway completed with that, and you see a little bit of hair left you're going to start to wrap back down and that's to close it off so that you'll be able to spray that down and then bobby, pin it in to secure that ponytail and wrap around. In place, it is imperative that you spray the heck out of your wrap around and blow dry it to secure it, to make sure that it does not come down so spray and then blow dry until it's a little bit hard and it's secured all right and Now, for my two front, bang pieces: i'm going to go ahead and straighten that out. You know where the where the weft is i'm going to straighten it out with my flat iron and then also measure it to make sure it's the right size, and it's not too long once i do that, i am going to glue them with my 30. Second glue, i was dreading putting that glue in my hair, but it's so many different products. Now they can help ease that out. So i wasn't concerned it's just you know a small portion of my hair anyway. So whatever all right in here, you just see me flat ironing my leave out into that little bang piece there just to be sure that it blends you know the right way and just straightening that ponytail out a little bit as well and right here, i'm just Going to get my baby hairs together with my 30 second glue and with my rat tail comb as well, you kind of see i had already done them a little bit. I took a few pictures with my real hair with a bun because honey the growth was real, but yep just going to get those baby hairs together on each side and put my bang pieces back in place, and that is the look for tonight. Ladies and gentlemen, i thank you so much for tuning in don't forget to like comment and subscribe and again at your girl c. You will be seeing more of me.
