Ponytail & Bang W/ Highlights

Hi everybody today, i'm going to do a ponytail with highlights, so i have a honey piece, just an eight inch. It'S just enough for bangs. This is a burgundy and then for the ponytail. It'S um 18 inch highlight collection by sepia. I pronounce it right, but this is 18 inches and this is gon na go um on my ponytail and then i have natural yaki, 100 human and then small little print, it says blend. So that means it has a synthetic in it, which i don't mind because i'm going to just use it for straight ponytail. So this is my first time using this collection um. So this is the number two so um, let's get started. Okay: first we're going to get started by taking some veins out so i'll say: do what you desire, as in bangs, you might want china bangs. You might want just a swooping, i'm going to do a swoop bang with a little bit of the burgundy to make it just a highlight, because i'm going to give the appearance that i just highlighted the? U part of my hair and then the blonde. I mean the barking is going to just continue into the point a little bit so okay, so i measured out my veins and i'm just going to put this in a little ponytail and we'll worry about that later now we're going to do the ponytail! I love this stuff. This is shine and jam by pro style, with honey extract and it's a conditioning, gel extra hole, love it so, first just think, like your desired ponytail positioning, i like to kind of just put a ponytail in first like this and then just get some gel and Then just work my way around so um. I skipped a step, so i have to go back so before you put the gel on your hair, like i said, we want to give the illusion that we're just we highlight the: u part shape, so you want to. After you measure out your bangs measure out just a little bit of hair after your bang, maybe behind your bangs put that to the side and we're going to glue a little track of burgundy right behind it. Because then that's going to go into the ponytail too! So um this is the how much hair you get in the bangs. So that's more than enough for me um, so i'm just gon na measure it out. Okay. So what i did was i braided my hair, that was in a ponytail and then wrapped it around. The made it into a bun and then did about uh two rubber bands to secure it as a bun, and then i forgot to mention when i uh use my ponytail holders, i use the goody, no metal and they're pretty thin. You don't want them too thick and then next that we're going to do is the ponytail. This is 12 inches. I forgot to mention and um: i'm not going to cut the hair at all, i'm just going to use it all, so it could be full and then the pins i'm using are the small hair pins and then um. When i start my ponytails, i put my first pin and my hair placement right in the middle of my bun. If you could see just right in the middle i before i used to do it just start on the side and then wrap and wrap and wrap and wrap. But then i notice you kind of have it open up and then you can see your ball or your real hair so just place the hair and the pen right in the middle of the bun, and that will help cover the bun and then just work. Your way out, so don't just pin it in the middle and then start by the ponytail holder of your real hair and then wrap it kind of just work. Your way outside to the outer part of your ponytail, so put my next placement. Okay, so i have this much left to wrap my ponytail with, but before i do that, i'm going to add the highlight, but um the highlight comes with the clip, but i'm not going to use the clip. So i'm just going to pin it in place like that. Oh wait! No, not like that. I thought that would be easier to do so. Let'S see, maybe we will use a clip so clip it and pin it yeah to make sure that the hair stays in place. So, let's see how that looks i'll place that right down the middle i'm a little irritated, because i wanted two highlights, but they ran out since i only have one highlight i'm gon na have to improvise, so i just spread it out that one highlight like that. Let me see i'm gon na try to pin it so, like i have a highlight over here. Just get a pen and place it right there. So it'll stay in that area same on the other side and then the last bit of hair from the ponytail we'll just wrap it around. So it looks like that and then get a little bit of hair from your ponytail about this much and we're going to wrap it around the base to cover the track so i'll put one in the back and then i'll put one on the side. So i could find a pen, so that's the ponytail hi, so um i'm done with my hair, but i had to go yesterday. So i couldn't show you step by step on how to finish the bangs with placing the highlights, but it's really simple so that you know how, before you uh, parted out your bangs you're gon na flat iron, it or press it and then um to do the Highlights just part the hair and place a track part some more hair and place a track um. The way i like to do my placements of glue is that i don't put it too close up to the edge, because i don't want uh any glue to show just in case uh the glue smears. So you can kind of see that there's no glue on my scalp, where the part is, but that's pretty much it as in how to do a ponytail with highlights and veins with highlights um. So i hope you like my tutorial and um talk to you guys later bye,
