How To Put A Hair Extension In Your Doll'S Hair | Summerstudiosag

Hey guys it's summer today, i'm going to be doing a requested video. This was first requested by coloey. I hope i pronounced that right and then it was again later requested by green singer. I do a tutorial on how to put this colorful hair extension in dolls and so far it's been in julie and kanani, so i'll be doing it on both because they are slightly different and you can get this. I got this one at claire's. I also found an identical one later that was cheaper in price at our dean, so i'm kind of mad, but i got this one for more expensive and what you want is this little snap in comb clip thing just like that i'll first, do it on kanani And then on julie, so first you want to spray your doll's hair and the hair extension with water mist it with water, because the hair extension can also get staticky and you want to brush through them both. Then, since kanani's hair, you can see he's kind of split up in the curls and i'm sorry it looks really messy. But i'm about to do her hair differently for another video. So i didn't want to totally brush it and everything because it takes a long time. So you're going to take like a piece and you don't want to just take a top section or just a bottom section. You want to take a whole piece, so you can just kind of split it there and then grab a section and then you're going to split the section into two pieces like top and bottom, and you want more on the top. Because that's what is going to go over the hair extension hide it, because if you put the hair extension up here eve, it won't stay like it. You can't attach it on the top, where the part is, and if you put it down here it looks kind of fake. Then we're just going to flip this up here and you're going to open this clip it open and see you wan na. You can't attach it here because again it'll slip and try not to catch it on the wig and but you're going to catch it close to the bottom. Sorry, if you can hear my phone beeping um close to the bottom as this is possible, because if you have it up like up higher and then you flip it back down, it'll be all folded and weird so don't tease the doll's hair either, because that's not Good for their hair, so i'm going to lift it up and i'm going to get it close to the bottom as possible until like it sticks like. If you pull it a little bit, not too right at 6, then you're going to snap it in place and flip the hair over now is where you can. You know finger style, put it over brush it over and stuff and kind of fix it into your spot and, like i said, i'm not i'm about to brush your hair. So it's kind of so i'm sorry if it's messy, but you can still see what is going on. So then you have something maybe looks like this and see it comes through and if you want you can split it into different parts. You can do a braid or something maybe like you can just do whatever you can keep it in one part you can do whatever and then on top here, so you can't tell that it's like fake. It just looks like you dyed it and if you wanted, you could also like pin the over top here in place if it's not really working and if it doesn't work out the first time just try again so now, i'm going to be doing it on julie And with julie, i put it like since it's so long and i don't want to cut it to fit it in place since i'm using all different dolls with different hair lengths. I just kind of took it from one side on julie and swooped it to the other, so i'll show you that put it down on kanani a curly hair doll and if you wanted to make it curly, i don't know if it's heat resistant. So i don't know if you should use like a heated, curling iron or anything, so you could probably just mist it and then put it through foam curlers or something like to match up with curls. But i'm going to be doing on julie, who has really straight hair. So i'm going to be doing it on this side. Since julie's hair is really straight and you can always easily see the wig and stuff and whenever i put like the hair extension under it's more easy to see, i'm going to be taking a bigger section than i did with canada. So you can see. This is really big and then i'm going to take the hair extension clip it open and then attach it in here close to the bottom again as possible and snap it in, and then here's where you want to go to the fixing and then you, since the Length is really weird because you can tell it's a hair extension. It'S way different. So then what i did was i carried it over here and i put it into a pigtail which i will show you right now or like a ponytail side. Ponytail, then you have it and it's more of the same length see just a little bit over, but you can just cool. So that is how i did it in that video.
