Sleek Long Braided Ponytail | Blonde Braided Ponytail On Natural Hair | Sequoia Woodard

Hi guys today we're doing a video on this ponytail, it's a long braid with like a slick back. Hopefully you guys like it. Oh just keep watching and we'll get right into the video. I just wet my hair. Well, i got out of the shower and then did my makeup so now my hair is like, i would say, damp or whatever, but i'm gon na wet it just a little bit more so that i can slick it down and i already applied my leave-in condition. Everything when i got out of the shower just a little bit of gel. I don't want a lot, because i want to leave that braid in for a couple of days, so i'm just going to add just a little bit. I'M gon na do a pony because i want to braid my own hair into it and i don't want to make it too tight, because last time i made a bun, it was too tight. I got a headache: okay and that's what i don't want. I don't want it too tight. Let'S see i'm gon na brush it i'm gon na. I don't know what i want to do. I have these two. I kind of want a little bit of a bright color in the braid, so i'm going to use a little bit of this and this because this will look more like a transition on my hair and then this will be my blonde color. I want this looks fun. I think this should be good enough. I just like try to mix it in there like as much as possible, so the hair this is the hair tie. So what we're gon na do here is take the rubber band around the hair and we're going to use the bottom part and we're going to pull it through the top that one right there we're just going to pull it up, and then it's just going to Suction all the hair and they're just going to feed the hair inside and move the rubber band back up to the top. So for the hair, i'm trying to even out the fake hair on top of my natural hair so that it's more of a blend when you're looking at it from the back. So for me, when i'm doing this i'll just like, if one feels a little bit thicker i'll just start to like separate it in the back part, so you don't see it in the front. So here i noticed how long it was so. I just took some scissors and just made it a little bit thinner towards the end so that i could curl it, and here i'm taking a black hair extension and wrapping it around my hair and using bobby pins to make it stay in place. I just took the curler out: oh she's, a little chunky back there. This is what it looks like it's like also like that.
