Tiktok Made Me Do The Ponytail Haircut Trend! | First Time Dyeing And Cutting My Hair On My Own

Hello, everyone welcome back to my channel. I know it's been a really long time since i've done a video in today's video, i'm going to be dying and cutting my hair on my own. This is the dye we're going to be using today it is l'oreal colorista and it is a temporary dye. It should last about 8 to 15 washes. I have used this exact color and i usually use this brand of dye whenever i dye my hair, i still consider my hair virgin hair because i've never used permanent dyes, so yeah the dyeing i've done before i'm familiar with, but i'm also going to be cutting My hair and i've never cut my hair on my own. My hair is kind of dead like right here. Also, my hair kind of has like some bumps right now, just because i fell asleep my hair wet and then i used voter and i want it to be dry before i dye it. This cut that i'm doing is actually tick. Tock inspired like tick tock kind of made me do it in a way: um i've seen tons of people, my fairy page doing it so i'm like really excited but nervous, because some people hated it. Some people loved it. So i have mixed feelings about it, but i'm really excited and that's pretty much it. I'M gon na be doing like this hair underneath um my hair right now, i'm not sure how long it is. I just know it's long and i'm really scared of the cutting part but, like i said the dye i'm a little more familiar with, and i'm just like not as nervous about that part like i said i'll have before and after photos, but this is pretty much How long my hair is like it goes further down so yeah i'm gon na be cutting and dyeing my hair and that's pretty much this whole video. So let's get started. Okay, i'm back. I changed it to a different t-shirt that i don't really mind like getting dye on. I have the dye right here. It should have gloves and a little like brush used to diagram. This is a bowl. My sister made it as you wish. I'M gon na use this to put the dye in hair brush. Of course, i have some ponytails and a toothpick comb to section out the hair, and then i have one of my wide clips to clip the hair back. So here's the hair dye. I picked this color because, even though i've already done this color, i needed a darker color, because my hair is blonde, but it's still like a darker blonde or like a dirty blonde. It'S not like super platinum or super light. This dye is actually made for brunettes, but, as you can see, i don't know if it's gon na focus but um the lighter one turns out like this. The dark one turns out this. I think one's kind of in between it'll be more on this side, because my hair is lighter than le burnette's hair. Obviously, because i'm blonde instructions, i don't need them um gloves. I think i should use these, so i've parted it. I know it looks kind of like bumpy up here, but anyways i parted it, and this is what we're gon na be dying. It doesn't look like much honestly but yeah. This is what we're going to be dying, and i will show you what the back looks like now. It looks kind of weird, but i had to put it higher up, because if i didn't i was afraid i was going to get the dye on my hair up here, like the top off my hair. Okay, this is my little homemade towel tied up thing. Yeah now we're gon na actually apply the dye. I just have so much hair and i'm doing this all by myself. Scary, that's scary! Well, there's no going back now going with the batteries, as you can see, we relocated because i don't know what i was thinking, but in my room was not a great idea. I just refilled the die so far. This is how much we have done, and i know the roots are not done at all like not even close, so i'm gon na have to definitely mess with that, but yeah we're going to go back to time lapse and we're going to start this side. Now there probably is some background noise, don't mind that, but i finished dyeing the hair, i'm going to show you the back now. I'M being honest, i do think i miss a little bit, but i did it all on my own, so i don't think it's going to be too bad and, like the rest of the hair, will cover it up. So i'm probably going to rinse it out in a good like 5-10 minutes. I definitely got like some dye on my neck and my ears, so that's fun, but i'm going to dry it better and then i might blow dry it. I just finished putting some products in my hair, so first i use this spray. Then i use this coconut oil and last i used this bed for split ends. This is what it looks like right now. Oh my gosh, i'm so excited to cut it to plug. In my blow dryer and blow dry, my i hair drying it it's still kind of damp, but i think you should leave it a little bit damp when cutting it, because it's like better to cut your hair when it's more damp or wet. So this is what it looks like right now, so the next step is to put it into a ponytail and then we're going to start cutting i'm so nervous. I managed to get it up into a ponytail, and this is what it looks like right now and then underneath that's so cool, but from the videos that i've seen people usually hold it up like that. My hair is so long. It really doesn't fit in the frame. I'Ve also seen people take it like this. Some people cut it like that, so i'm not really sure which way i'm going to do it, but that's how much i'm going to cut i'm going to cut right above the ponytail and i am actually wow. That'S a look for sure. I have my trusty scissors. Oh, my gosh. I'Ve never cut my own hair. Oh my gosh, okay, okay, oh my gosh! Oh my gosh, oh my god, my hair, oh my god, i'm just like realizing this is my hair like please that is so bad. I'M gon na be so sad. If this does not turn out well, i think i'm gon na trim it going like that. Why does it look so much shorter? Even though this is all i took off right, i took the ponytail out, so this is really like moment of truth. I am so scared. This is what it looks like right now. It doesn't look too bad. Actually wait. It'S still pretty long. It'S not gon na look as long obviously, but i needed a haircut anyways, and this is just about how much she was gon na. This is pretty much how the hair turned out. This is the result. This is the length it goes about right here and it used to go probably down to here. So when i cut my hair, i did it a little bit differently than how the other people did it. So it didn't turn out exactly the same, but i wasn't disappointed. I'M still really happy with how it turned out and it still feels super healthy.
