Hey guys, it's jenny, welcome back to my channel or welcome if you're new here, i'm so happy that you can join me today for today's video, i'm gon na be showing you guys how to recreate the middle part slick back bun inspired by bella hadid kendall jenner. I'M sure you've seen it on social media, very model of duty vibes and it's one of my favorite hairstyles, it's so convenient and honestly, it's an instant confidence boost, you're gon na be looking snatched and feels like a baddie. So i'm gon na be showing you guys how to recreate this today. I have shown you guys in a past video, but i wanted to go more in depth without further ado. Don'T forget to like comment subscribe and let's get into the video. So, first i'm going to say ingredients, not ingredients, essentials necessities, what you will need so here i have a comb. This is obviously for the middle part. We want a very straight middle part and then you need a brush. A teasing brush works great. This is like the kind of like the wire, not wire, like the thicker. I don't know bristles, so you want one that can really like snatch you up and then for elastics. You can use these. I don't know if you can see, but i recommend these type of elastics they're much thicker and stretchier so grab more hair. So i recommend these you'll need two, maybe three, but i think we'll stick to two and then bobby pins. Just in case you have any like fallout, i'm actually gon na, be showing you guys, two different slick, buns one with a claw clip and then one just like a regular bun. So if you want, you can use a claw clip and then you'll need some water to dampen your hair and then our holy grail. These are things you need just because this hairstyle, i will say it's not easy. It takes time and practice. It takes me a couple tries every single time, but honestly, these two things are lifesavers and i'm talking about hairspray and gel. So i'm using the garnier power putty, it's basically gel and then some hairspray honestly, you can use any gel any hairspray. But this is the tresemme garnier and now, let's get into the actual hairstyle, so i have a mirror in front of me. So if i'm looking to the side, that's why so we're going to want to part our hair directly in the middle? I don't go all the way down. I just stop, probably like half of my head. I don't know if i said this already, but this works amazing on like second day hair third day, hair and so on. Just because your hair is probably has more oil and it's more moldable, but honestly it works fine whenever i just tend to do this hairstyle when my hair is greasier or dirtier just because it will like stick better. If that makes sense, my hair is on secondary hair, and it's not that oily. So we love it's fine. Now that i have my little middle part, i'm going to take some water and dampen my hair, literally drench, your hair, mainly you want to focus the water on the top of your head, just because this is what you're really going to slick down, but now we're Going to take our gel or power putty, i like using this just because i've noticed that gel instantly dries and with this it's still kind of moldable. So i add this before i start shaping my hair, so i take a bit of this rub it between my hand and add it to the top of my hair and now this is going to help me mold my hair, and then it will stay. However, i mold it so now take your brush and start dragging it back, and the key is to keep this hand here and when you brush it back, gather the hair. With this hand, if that makes sense, i hope this makes sense so see my hair. My hand is staying still and whenever i'm brushing it, i just clasped it off. So now i have my hair pretty low, i'm going to start moving it up so gather all your hair and start moving it up just like that, and i love using the power putty just because it really helped my hair stay in place and keep that middle Part in place - usually, if i just use water or if i just try doing it dry, this would move and it would create like weird lines in this part, you just kind of want to start molding your hair. However, you want i'm like flatting it down and then also don't forget the back. What i do for the back, i'm gon na add a little bit of water, add a little bit of power putty and once again gather my hair. With my one hand, honestly, this hairstyle just keep working at it, keep molding it. The way that you want. I think the number one thing is just keep this hand here, keep the hair gathered. So now i have my ponytail, where i want it. I'M going to take an elastic and the constant thing to do is keep your hand gripped on the hair. You don't want to accidentally like let your hand go and then your hair falls apart. You know i grab it on and then i loop and take the hair out same thing again and do it as many times as you can you want it pretty tight yay by the way i am sweating, okay, if you're at this step, and it's looking rough, Don'T worry, we're gon na go back with hairspray and all of that, but now you can take your brush and just kind of calm down any flyaways. Don'T forget the back. I think i'm becoming a pro at this, because this is my first try. Okay period. Honestly, you can leave it like this now we're moving on to the fun part, which is the bun, so i'm gon na first show you guys the clock clip way. This is super easy. I'M gon na actually grab some more water and drench my ponytail just now, and take some more power putty and then what i do is i start wrapping it wrap it around once around itself and then with a little excess, which i like to call the tail. You take the claw clip and you clip it right on and there you go. You got your little cutesy cute, oh my god. Why is this the best one i've ever done and i'm literally not going anywhere so that one's number one with clock clip now? Let'S just move on to the regular one so for the regular one you're just going to want to do the same thing that i did twist. Your hair wrap it around against itself and i like little hairs like poking out again. Another bella hadid thing also 2005 and then grab another elastic and just wrap it around the bun cute. Why is this like my best one and i'm not going anywhere, i'm literally after this, i'm gon na sit in my bed and do homework since we're kind of done. This is where this is the step where you can go back in with bobby pins. If you have any loose hairs and, lastly, to hold it and lock it down some good old hairspray and right after you put hairspray, i like to go back in with my comb or with my brush and smooth things down. Isn'T that so cute guys add some little jewelry? You know, okay, i'm feeling myself and that's how you achieve the middle part. Slicked bun hope you guys love. It hope you guys understand and it was easy to follow along. But this is it thanks for watching guys.
