Hello again! Since I cut my bangs last week I thought I'd make a video showing you guys how I style them now that they're shorter! If you liked this video I'd love to make more like it. I love vintage hair, and this leaned more seventies, so if you have a specific decade you'd like me to do, please let me know in the comments! See you guys next week!

Hi, hello, welcome back to less looks. My name is Chloe Faris um. Last week I made the very impulsive decision to cut my hair on absolutely zero hours of sleep, so this week is an update on whether or not I regret that decision, and I do not. So I thought that I should make a video showing you guys how I styled my bangs in my short hair in a semi vintage inspired style. So let's do that. So the first thing that I'm gon na do is part my hair down the center. So, let's do that right this very second, oh! This is what my hair looks like when it's just like blow-dried. I did a little bit of round brushing this morning when I blow dried it, but mostly my hair dries pin straight, which is super annoying when you like to wear it curly all the time. So my hair is pretty thick if your hair so thin. You could probably get away without this stop. But the first thing that I'm gon na do is section off the top part of my hair into a cutesy little ponytail or a bun like that. And then I'm gon na take my straightener, so I'm gon na use my straightener to do these curls umm and I'm just gon na, like flip my hair up in the most ridiculous fashion possible. Basically, the goal is to look like a 50s housewife. So the way that I do, that is that I twist my hand like this, and then I go like this. If your hair smoking, that's a good sign, huh, oh yes, that is exactly what it should look like. I really shouldn't be in front of my clothes, because they're black and my hair is black so and then what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na? Do that all around my whole head? Oh, and it looks crazy, which is exactly what we're going for. The key is to get like a real bend in your hair so that it flips up like this. So the next step for this layer is to like brush these curls out. It doesn't matter how much you brush them. They'Re, not gon na come out. They'Re just gon na get softer and prettier like so the brushed out tight curls is what really gives this look? It'S like vintage appeal, then the next step for this layer is I'm just gon na. Do a few regular curls through the whole thing. So I do that, like this I'll, take a piece it doesn't matter if it's curled up they're all gon na be curled up and go like this basically the same thing but sideways, and then that's gon na look like that and then the trick is when you Flip up the bottom and brush it out, you don't have to curl all the pieces because it looks like your whole like this looks like the whole side of this is curled, but really just two pieces are all the way curl if that makes sense. So the next thing I'm gon na do is take my little bun out and do guess what same thing to this side. So take this piece of hair and then I'm gon na curl it up. Oh I'm, bringing my fingers off out still looks cute, though I'll click a who down in who-ville yeah next thing, I'm going to do just like the bottom, is take some pieces from the top here and curl them back. So it looks like my whole. Head is curled, so now I am just gon na put any hair that is not bangs behind my ears just to get it out of the way I'm gon na move on to how I do my bangs so doing these bangs is real simple. What I'm gon na do is, I am gon na separate the top half just because again I have to take hair and thick bangs and then I'm gon na take my straightener and I'm gon na curl it under so we've been curling these out and curl this. This way and I'm gon na leave the end straight see so it flips under and then goes out like that and then I'll do it again to this one. So you can see it again, flip it under leave the bottom straight. So let me see how it flips under and then sticks out straight. That'S what you want pick that and you're on, and you look like George Washington. So by now what I'm going to do is I'm gon na take the round brush and just brush it out. So like this and brush like with the direction that I curled it yeah I'll, do one of these and then I'll do one of these. Then you can just like mess around with it, with your hands and stuff and get it how you want it, and what I really like is to have these pieces that we left straight stick out out here like this, this one's a lot more obvious that goes And that's what I want and then my friends you are done and that's how I styled my semi vintage inspired short hair with some 70s curtain bangs, so guys. Thank you so much for watching.
