Curly Perm On Short Hair

Hey guys in this video I'm going to be talking about my perm that I just got not, but I'm probably what three hours ago and the reason I'm doing this is because, when I was looking on YouTube before I got my perm on videos about perms, everyone Had longer hair and as you can tell, I have short hair, so I thought it would just be good to make a video for all the people with short hair. Like me, if they're wanting to get perms, okay, so um met other videos, you can tell my hair, isn't very long and pretty sure, and although my hair is straightened um, she didn't cut about an inch off when she was going to trim. But an inch isn't trimming to me to me. Anyways and my hair is straight - is about this long now, so it's shorter than it was and um, but yeah. So first, when I first got there, she um she improved my hair and then with protein shampoo. She said I needed a lot of protein in my hair, because my hair was really fragile and um had a lot of split ends, so she shampooed it with protein shampoo and then she conditioned it. And then she took me to her chair when my hair was still damp and she got the paper you know and she took it and she put out the ends and she rolled it up. I'M not sure what size role she ruler she used, but um. It was purple, I'm not I'm sure they have different colors at different places, but it was purple and she said it was the smallest, the second smallest of all the rolls rollers. I don't know why I keep saying rolls and then choose Dwight um around the front of my face, so the curls would be more defined so um. She used white up at the front of the crown right here and then the rest of my hair was performers. So she put all those in which probably took about 45 min so that took the longest um and then she put in mmm. I don't know it's called. I forgot um yeah, I forgot but um. I just put that in and you just put it on every little roller and it stunk so bad. It was horrible um, it smelled, like bacon, really bad um. What else after that sit in for about 13 minutes? She said that since my hair was already naturally curly or had waves, that I wouldn't have to keep it in as long so, my hair did um curl faster than people with naturally straight hair, so not only took 13 minutes and usually takes 25 to 30 minutes. Um, after that, we went to the sink and she rinsed my hair, but she didn't take out the rollers, yet it was still in the rollers and she rinsed out every every roller really good, and then she called the neutralizer. I think that's what it's called um. She put on the neutralizer and shot that on for five minutes um and that didn't smell too bad. It smelled like baby powder kind of and um. She had that on five minutes and then she took off my rollers and she shampooed my hair. Sorry, if I'm breathing hard and sick but um, and then she shampooed my hair and then we went back to her chair and she put um protein spray in it. It'S like in a spray form of protein and then protein um, this like lotion, but for your hair. I don't know what that's called um, so she put that in and then she put in some styling no weight and then she turned my hair. She said that she was just going to trim my hair, but then after we were done, I was like my hair feels a lot. I'M lighter and she's like yeah. I ended up cutting an inch off just so um, not just so, but inch off, because you had a really bad dead end and your hair is really uneven. Hmm, it's called layers. Of course it's going to be an even I was kind of mad, and then she decided to style my hair into an afro. I'M not talking about this afro I'm talking about this was all the way up here. Like should I pick, I was picking up my hair and I I mean I friends, look good on people like other people, but not me like my head is too round or something I don't know, but then she did that and I had to walk three blocks Home, so I me and my friend were like power walking, so no one would see me that I knew because I was embarrassed but um it was $ 60 um. It was $ 60 and I gave her a $ 10 tip, so it was 70 um. Once I got home, I was I looked in the mayor and I looked at it more and I kind of started to get mad because, like I wanted spirally pretty natural curls and she gave me a poodle head pretty much so I tried to fix it and I got my hair damp again was still kind of damp, but it was yeah. I just got my hair damp and I put in this - not your mother's. I had this from earlier, but I just go ahead. I just went ahead and put this in. Is not your mother's um kinky moves, and this is this smells so good, and I think it actually works pretty good. I don't know really how it really didn't. It only works if you have curly hair, like already like I'm talking about like chromed curly or, like naturally curly, not like straight hair, and you want it to be curly. You have to have a perm or already already curly, hair or like if you braid it that works really. I could do a tutorial on that if you guys want me to, but this smells really good a house grapeseed and Jasmine in it. So, that's probably why it smell so good. Then I use the Garnier Fructis sleek and shine intensively, smooth leaf and conditioning for frizzy, dry and manageable hair, intense smoothing for long, lasting, first control and Shine has argan oil and Morocco and ink, and this stuff works. Pretty good, too, I think, and this you can put on straight or like when my hair was straight and it was in winter. I just take a little little, probably dime sized, and I just rub it in and put it on my ends and at the roots, because they would be really poufy but um yeah. That'S pretty much. It um like now that I've styled it the way I want to. I really like it, and she said it will probably get more curly and I'm not supposed to put my hair up in a ponytail or um like put your hair back in anyway. You'Re just supposed to let it lay for 24 hours to 24 to 48 hours, so I'm a while to go. It'S only been about 3-4 um, so yeah.
