Hey guys welcome back to the channel, my name is roxy for those of you who are new. So today i'm going to be doing my 10 minute relaxer. I decided moving forward, i'm not going to leave the relaxer in my hair from beginning to end for any more than 10 minutes or maybe 11 minutes. This is simply because i don't want to over process it, and i still want my hair to have some body and fullness. I hate when it looks like super limp super dead and i've been doing that lately or like in the past, and i don't want to do that anymore. So i'm going to stick to the instructions and do 10 minutes. My last relaxer was march 17th. So i'm about five weeks post relaxer and this is for um just the size. Only. However, the top here is about 13 weeks post relaxer, so i don't know, do the math today i'm going to be doing everything so i'm going to be getting in here and the back as well. So, to start off, i'm going to be prepping my hair, using my base, my ors base was actually a scalp protector from olive oil. This is so that you know i don't burn my skin scalp and especially the front. So i don't over process the front. I'M going to be using the ors olive oil relaxer, and this is in normal strength. If you look on the instructions here, there's a timing chart it honestly says 10 to 11 minutes for fine here and for medium hair 12 to 15 minutes. I usually leave my relaxer on way longer than that, and i realize i've been doing it wrong. I'Ve been killing my hair, so i'm gon na try. This is my second time actually doing um doing it for 10 minutes, so i'm gon na use the timer on my phone okay, so i'm gon na start off by slapping the relaxer in the back and then i'm gon na work my way to the top and Get in between um get into the new growth: hey siri set my timer for 10, 10 minutes and counting okay. So i'm just going to start in the back and i'm just going to start by um just putting the relaxer on my hair and then i'm going to come back and comb it through after the back is actually getting longer. Now i'm gon na have to start being more careful where i'm placing the relaxer to kind of only do the new growth, but it's so short that i end up just relaxing it from root to tip. So i'm going to do the sides next, but i'm not going to do the front of the sides i'm going to do that last because that's where it's most fine and it's more fragile, so i don't want to do that. Okay, so i literally i have about one and a half minutes left. I'M gon na take this time to comb out the relaxer and then i'm gon na use like an extra minute, because it's not it's literally, not possible to comb out my hair in a minute and a half, so hey siri set my timer to one minute. Okay, your timer is set for one minute: okay, so that was literally 11 minutes. I'M gon na take this time to wash out the relaxer. I'M gon na be using the motions, neutralizing shampoo, so i'm gon na go um rinse out my relaxer and come back and i'll see you guys when my hair is white. So i washed out my hair using motions, neutralizing shampoo and then i washed it. I gave it about four washes and then i washed it with a moisturizing shampoo after that once and then i used a conditioning treatment from shea moisture to, i don't know, put back the moisture back in my hair, because that the neutralizing shampoo is pretty drying. That was like such a fast relaxer honestly, there are some parts that are not bone straight, but it still got at least like a little texturized, and i'm okay with that, especially because i don't want my hair to look flat at all, like i'm tired of like That flat relaxed look, i still want it, even if it's like air dried one day to look kind of poofy, i don't know like some kind of volume to it, um, because the mousse is gon na, get it flat and sleek anyway, so i'm gon na wrap. My hair now and i'm gon na be using the nairobi rapid shine, foaming lotion. Okay, so that's it! I pretty much want to come on here and relax my hair, and i want to share with you guys that i'm only going to be doing 10 minute relaxers from now. I know it's going to be a lot harder once my hair is longer, but i'm still going to try my best. I do understand that i was moving pretty quickly and - and maybe some of you aren't able to move as quickly. But the point is to just get in and get out um if you're unable to do that, of course go to a salon and get it done because relaxers are no joke. They'Re, serious chemical, it's a serious chemical and you can really do a lot of damage to your scalp and your hair. So if you don't feel like you can handle this, if you don't think you can move as quick, then just don't do it just have someone else, do it for you or go to a salon, so i'm just going to end off the video here check out. My next video, where i'm going to be styling my hair and i'm also going to be um, showing you guys how i maintain my style pixie, like my not really curls, but like my hair, when it's like flat ironed for two days just two days: okay, if It'S already posted then i'll definitely link it in this video, so that is it for this video i'm gon na go under the dryer for about 35 to 40 minutes, and then i'm going to style my hair um, basically filming the next video for you guys. Thank you guys so much for watching this video don't forget to subscribe. If you're new and as usual i'll see you guys in my next video bye,

Nkatha_love: I cut my hair into a pixie just coz of you! I was debating but it but when I found you it was a sure deal! Why???? Coz you showed me how to take care of it at every stage!! I freaking love you

Felicia Lashaun: It’s so nice to see someone do short relaxed hair videos. I know what mean about wanting super straight hair after a relaxer, I prefer my hair with volume as well.

Shronda Smith: Hey Roxy I hope all is well with you and the family.. I always love your videos be blessed....

Christine P: Hi Roxy, even though your hair is short in the back and sides you still should put something on that part of the hair in order not to over process that part of the hair. If you haven’t take a look at hairlicious Inc videos on YouTube. She is great.

Elicia Bridgforth: It should take 10 minutes to apply relaxer and then you let it sit on hair for an extra 10 minutes and no more than 15 minutes more. Under processing your hair will cause damage to your hair just like when you over process

Herbal Tea: Thanks for this video. I was over processing and it left hair limp. I’ll do this method. Thanks

Empress H.: I set my timer for 10 however, I have my in and combed through within 8 minutes.

Nya M: Have you tried the influance it’s natural mousse? I’ve heard good things about it but there’s not much videos about it on YouTube.

Angie Dixon: Waiting on the next video!!!!

Monique B: I do the same with the texture softener

Dutygyal 14: I love this beat name of it? much love❤️
