Hello, everyone, my name, is Hanna Lisa, welcome to my youtube channel or welcome back to my youtube channel so for today's video I'm going to be showing you guys how I get these like beachy waves using a hair straightener. Ever since I cut my hair, I have been really really obsessed with doing it these like loose waves, so this video is geared more towards girls who have short hair. I just find that it's a little bit easier to do these waves. / girls have short hair, but if you have long hair, you can totally do these, because I'm really really obsessed with these curls and I am so excited to show you guys how I achieve this look so yeah. I really hope you guys enjoy watching this video and without further ado, let's get right into it. Okay, so I have already brushed my hair out and I just put a little bit of hair oil on just so. My hair is more shiny, so the street Nair that I'm going to be using to get these loose waves is just this Revlon straightener. I don't really think it matters which straightener to use. I think any straightener works to me they're like pretty much all the same. So I'm just using whatever I have so this is just a Revlon straightener I'll. Have it linked down below if you guys want it, it's super cheap. So when I do these waves, I like to do them in section, so I do the bottom layer. First then, the middle layer, then the top layer. So I usually have little like Clips like this, just so that I can section off my hair so that it's easier to do the waves so because my hair is pretty short. It'S kind of hard to show on camera of myself doing the bottom layer of my hair, just because it is so short, so I'm going to be doing the bottom layer and the middle layer off-camera. And then I can come back to you guys when I do the top layer just so that you guys can actually see what I'm doing and I'm literally doing the same thing for every section of my hair. So I'm just going to come back to you guys and do the top section, so you guys can actually see what I'm doing so I'll be right back alright, so I have already done the bottom and middle section of my hair. So all I have left is the top section now yeah. So these are what the wave sort of look like, I'm still going to have to brush them out a little bit later bye. So now I'm going to do the top section, so I'm just going to take that clip off and see what I have to work with here, all right. So now that I have the top section left, I am going to actually show you guys how to do it. I'M grabbing a section of hair, not too thick, but not too thin. So basically, I take the strand of hair, clamp, the straightener. Now I'm gon na twist it and then once I do that twist, I'm gon na leave it on for like two seconds like not long at all and I'm gon na let go, and then I already did that little wave now, I'm gon na do that here. I like to leave a little bit of hair at the ends so that it looks more effortless and then I just drop like that, and then it should create, like a nice wave, I'm just going to put that in the back. So same thing: I'm gon na get a section of hair, clamp the straightener twist it looks like twist it then I got ta turn it hold it for a few seconds and drop, and then I'm going to do the bottom part so twist and then let go So that creates like that loose wave and then once we brush it out, it'll be a lot more effortless. Looking so same thing get a section of hair clamp the straightener twist hold for a few seconds. Let go and then do the bottom and remember to leave a little bit of hair out just so that it looks more effortless looking and then just pull down grab another section of hair. I up the straightener twist pull for a few seconds. Let go do the bottom and then let go so we're basically repeating that same step for all over hair. That'S what I did for the bottom and middle section is the same thing all around and then for the front pieces of my hair. I like to work a little bit more, the front sections just because this kind of like frames your face, so I usually do this twice rather than just one. So I so I do the same thing twist hold it for a few seconds. Let go do the bottom, let go and then yeah I like to go over it. So I'm like this to frame my face a little bit more so yeah, that's kind of what the waves look like. Now, I'm going to switch to this hand to curl this side of my hair, so the same thing grabbing a section of hair, not too thick, not too thin, clamp a straightener. You guys pretty much get the gist now, but I'm just gon na keep going over it. Let go. Sometimes you may have to go over it, but do I feel like the shorter time that you hold in the curl, the more effortless the waves look. So for me, I just like to hold it for like two to five seconds so grabbing a section of hair, twisting it holding it for like two to five seconds and then releasing all right. So these are the waves using a hair straightener for short hair. I really hope you guys enjoyed watching this video, so these curls are super super easy to do. It usually takes me about, like 10 to 15 minutes to do these waves, so they're really really easy to do so. You can arrange them how you want them. If you want them to be more structured, if you want them to be more loose, I personally like them a little bit loose, so I kind of like shake it out a little bit just so that it's more like effortless looking. You can also add some hairspray. If you want to, I personally don't put hairspray just because I want the waves to look more like beachy. So if you want a more like structured look, you can obviously put hairspray if you'd like, but I find that doing these waves with a straightener. It actually lasts way longer than when using a curling iron. I feel like when I curl my hair with a curling iron. I usually have to put hairspray because the curls will go away, but whatever I do these waves with a straightener, it usually lasts for about. Like three, maybe even four days, so I really hope you guys enjoyed this hair tutorial, I'm trying to get back into posting weekly again on this channel.
