Can you really straighten AND curl your hair easily with one tool?
Dubbed, the Remington Curl and Straight Confidence, the 2-in-1 hair styler looks like a regular pair of straighteners, but upon closer inspection, it's pretty obvious that unlike our standard flat-plated ghds, this tool has twisted plates.
In this week's Beauty Lab, three Cosmopolitan UK Editors tested the Remington Curl and Straight Confidence for the first time, to find out whether it's really worth that £119 price tag.

I'M going in is very I'm a journalist. I don't even know what that word is. I really thought it would sort of just curve it. Today I am testing the remington curl and straight confidence confidence. It is a hybrid weird, cool, looking styler, which curls waves and straightens all in one. It'S got these really weird twisted plates, but you've just like stretched. You can do anything. Apparently you can straighten curl and wave. So I'm gon na have to turn on this bad boy. I'M not really sure how it's gon na straighten, but that's what I'm testing i think they cost 119 pounds, which is quite a lot for like a high street brand. You never know these could give the professional man's arrival right here. She is oh wow they're on already good. Don'T tell me that one. It says it has longer plates with micro guide combs which yeah oh, so you could have different heating's as well. Setting heat settings. I'M gon na do the waving keep test the waving capabilities today. So I take a smallish away from my face and then drag it through. Oh nice, I, like it, I'm worried I'm gon na end up making it wavy we'll try. Okay, I'm just gon na keep holding it straight like this. I don't really know how else. Oh it's worked. Well, that's good! I really thought it would sort of just curve it because the panel's are curvy, but it hasn't done that going in oh okay. Oh, that feels better than I thought it would and then you wan na pull it. I am nice, oh, that is nice. It'S got a little tip hair as well for you to put your fingers when you're holding it so that you don't you're, not clamp in the actual Faro itself. I think also having these teeth means that you don't have to suction it until release new parts. Its brushing through as you go, I'm feeling more confident. I am really impressed with this here my hair ripping out there that is mine, father Remington voila. It has straightened like a charm final thoughts on the Remington curling straight confidants, as I'm calling it call it. What you will it's a bit messy, I probably could have done a better job. I was given a bit more time, but all in all, I'm pretty happy with the results. I really really like it. I mean it is very I'm a journalist. I don't even know what that word is. What is it waving? It'S just very big. I would definitely use it again for a remington straightener. I just feel like. I would wait for boots free for to offer. This is what I think, and then I'd be like guys. You have to get this, but I need this because that is just unreal. I think the addition of the little teeth really helped because, as you can see, I didn't use a brush. I didn't use a comb normally when straightening my hair, I would sort of use the comb first and then follow it through didn't do that just went straight in and yeah it's left it pretty sleek very smooth, I'm really impressed. Maira Ortega: I saw this product, and I wanted to purchase it immediately! I’m glad I came to look at videos. It’s literally the same thing with a regular hair straightener. You hold it at the root, turn it (either away or towards your face depending how you want your curls) and glide down. Literally the same thing. I think I’ll pass. Disappointed.
