How I Keep My Red Hair From Fading Update | Overtone Review

Hi guys so today i am going to be talking to you about how i keep my red hair from fading and looking very auburn throughout the entire month. I go sometimes one month to two months without coloring in between and my hair consistently stays a really fresh bright red, not like a unnatural, bright red. But you know what i mean, and i've done many videos like this in the past. So i'm trying to just get straight to the point and what i use is these overtone conditioners. Now i found out about this the exact same way you guys are finding out about how to keep your hair from fading. I was on youtube trying to find a solution and if you guys have been following me for a while, you have seen a lot of my red hair updates and what i do to keep it from fading. And what i have been using is the clairol essences. In cedar, red brown or brown red, i can show you a little picture right here. I have been using that for the past two years and as um great as it is like it does not last at all, and it doesn't really give your hair like that. Lift that i need personally and it just it, takes too long for me, and so how i discovered this is. I was on youtube, looking up how to keep your hair from fading and also how to have like a gorgeous red, cinnamon color, and i came across an overtone review and it honestly sold me because it was a girl who put this in her hair and she Had never even dyed her hair before and i was like okay, so this is just a conditioner. I heard that other brands do that where they have those deep conditioners where they have the hair color in and yes, i have tried those and they never work ever so. I was really skeptical watching that video, but then afterwards she kind of had like a brown hair and then she used. I think this color ginger and her hair just turned out this gorgeous auburn red, and i thought that's really weird, because it's a conditioner, so i did more research and i looked them up and my promises isn't sponsored i'm. I went out of my way to look for this and i just wanted to share with you guys my secret, and this honestly has changed the game for me and not only is it vegan and cruelty free, it is suitable for all hair types, and it tends Your hair and it conditions it and it's the best most smartest thing ever and what i love about overtone is they are. They are very passionate about people who, like to color their hair and all the problems us people that do color our hair face. For example, redheads all people who color their hair like bright colors and you have to use really cold water to shower it sucks with this stuff. You don't you can use as hot water as you want, so for this color and conditioner, you guys are going to see me apply it. So what i do is you have to place this all over dry hair and it says to leave on for 10 to 15 minutes. But honestly, i leave it on for a good 45 minutes. Not only do you get a long 45 minute deep conditioning but it'll give you the most color in your hair, and i also got this daily conditioner. It'S basically like the same thing, so this is a coloring conditioner. This is a daily conditioner. You can just use this. It helps your hair from fading, basically the same thing as this, except this is a longer process, because you kind of have to put it all over your hair, it's kind of like a giant hair mask and the coloring conditioner. You can just use this when you wash your hair and you only need three to five minutes for this, and i'm telling you guys it's not like the ones that you see in the drugstore. You will see results in your hair. Now, i'm going to show you guys a clip of me putting this in and you guys seeing the difference in my hair and how i get this gorgeous hair and how it stays, and you can do this as much as you want it doesn't leave you a Sticky mess you guys are og, nicole jackson, supporters. You would have seen that i used to use manic panic for my bright red hair to keep it from fading. That was a nightmare because it left my hair sticky. So let's put this in together and then you guys can see the results. So this is how my hair looks right now. This is pretty faded in my opinion, which means like there's not a lot of red or color. It just looks almost brown, so i'm going to put in that overtone conditioner, so you can see how it kind of brings my red ginger, hair back to life. So i will just wear a dirty t-shirt and i use gloves to help with staining and also what you want to do, because this stuff really does take your hair up a notch. You want to put on some vaseline, because what i noticed when i use this stuff, you get like an orange ring around here and it kind of gets, takes a lot of time to take off. So you should usually do that when you're tinting, your hair coloring your hair. All of that you should just put vaseline on and then i'm gon na go through the whole thing and yeah wash it out i'll, explain what i do. How long i leave it in all that good stuff do do do so. Okay, that is it. They say to keep it in for 10 to 15 minutes, but i usually like to just leave it in for 30 to 45 minutes i'll go. Do some things then wash it out and i'll show you guys how it refreshes my red, like you, saw it just looked. My hair still looks nice, but it was just very dull and you can use this conditioner weekly and also you can rinse your hair with hot water. That'S what i absolutely love about overtone is. They are big on no more cold showers. So that's how i found out about this was actually through another youtube tutorial. So i was like i need to try this stuff asap and after i looked up multiple tutorials on this, i was hooked and my hair is constantly refreshed and it isn't super faded anymore. My hair would get unbearably faded where people would think that i was more of a blonde than a redhead, so yeah. But i'm going to wash this out in about 30 to 45 minutes, and then you guys will see how my hair has just come back to life with a little bit more punch. Do okay, guys, that's it! But those just don't work and, i'm being honest here, i've tried it all even to semi permanent hair colors to put in my hair in between lashes it just it's such a hassle with the coloring conditioner.
