Gray Hair Day...Grey Rubber Band Ponytail (Hair Shopping)

Hey guys happy sunday to you, i don't know if we're gon na get this on sunday, but i am at beauty supply and i'm gon na go in here and get some some stuff for my hair um, really a ponytail, because i um, if you guys seen The video i have uh my hair is not natural anymore, but so i've been wearing ponytails child. You know you just look them up really quick and easy, but i i use um the regular weft to make my ponytails there's no time. You ain't got time. For that, because you need a wrap, you can wrap, you can paint it and all that so um and i have a clip on not a clip-on but a string one, but it's a short one. So i want a long one um. I do have a long weft one, that's not human, and so it gets so tangled up or whatever, but i just want a long gray, ponytail. Okay, so i think i'm gon na show you guys how i put it on and what i do or whatever and then, when i uh leave here, i'm gon na run to um a grocery outlet, because i was gon na make some chicken for dinner and d Said he wanted, he thinks he wants meatballs or either some turkey meatloaf. So i'm going i'll, probably bring you guys back up. First, i'm gon na go in here just kind of look around just for a minute, because um they're, they're gon na be closing about an hour. So i'm just gon na go in here and just get a couple things that i need um. I need something for my nails and everything so i'll, just kind of show you a few things in there and then um. This is camera nut clean. Then i will um go to grocery outlet and bring you guys back up there. Okay, let's see john paul. Okay, guys i am in here and let's see, i got ta figure out what the ponytails are. Let me turn this camera around, so you guys can see so they don't have any little baskets. You know they usually have the little baskets that you can grab at the door. No there's no baskets. So let me go up here. I don't wanna. Well, i guess they keep you from buying a lot of stuff, huh. Okay, okay, guys, i'm over here. Looking before the eye, okay, i had her looking for some nail clippers. So this is the number 60 and a proof. I don't want a poof, and you guys see this one is the tt1b60. Oh goodness i don't. I don't like the light part at the top, but i want a straight one child. This is not organized. You got to fend for yourself over here. Let me see see they got the little curly one i got curly, i don't want curly. I want a straight one: oh look at this one. Let me see i usually do order. This is a 60 again. I usually do order them, but uh when you want it right away. You know you kind of run down to beauty supply. Well, that's cute! That'S a number 60, that's kind of light, but that's still cute and it's not really it's like medium. It'S not uh. Almost. I think it's a 14 inch. Okay! Let me see. Oh there's, 51. Oh here they are right here. So let me see what they got. No hold on i got. I need two hands: a little drawstring pony 51 silver. That'S curly make more of a mess than what it is. Okay, let's come over here, one two one be 30.. These are all fours got to look for, like oh wait, a minute. Um see that has like a 1b at the top. I don't want that. That is 19.99. It'S a really long, one! Okay, i'll put you guys on pause and kind of look for it. 6. 13. Don'T want 6 13. now see if i wasn't looking for it. It'D be right in my face because i was here a couple weeks ago and this whole bunch of them right here. So i want like 44 and then i want a 51. here. Wait! A minute here is: that's not dark. That'S a pretty 44. look at that! One look at that, that's pretty, so i think i need. I think i do. I need the 51.. I can put that i can do the 44 because the 44 is so pretty. But let me look okay guys. I want to show you something see they have that one with the bang. Can you see that this isn't? This is a brown in here, but they have that. I just think those bangs look ridiculous. They don't they're, not cute like i want them, i want them. You know more natural looking now, if you see this 44 see, i don't like this little short ponytail. I got a whole bunch of short ones. I don't want them, but you guys see that color. That'S what i want see. Some of the 44s are too dark. Like that, let me show you like this one over here: it's beautiful, but it's a dark. It has more black in it. Okay and like that one right, there is 60, but - and we see this right here - that's a 51 and that's a that's, a pretty good dark 51. But this 44 right here. This is what i want see how it has like the mixture tones. That'S perfect. So i just got ta find this color 44 in a longer length. You know, let me see, i think i got this one. I got that that in gray at home i don't want all these curly cues, let's see and no puffs or anything. So let me be on the hunt a little bit more. I might have to have somebody come over here job. This is a little overwhelming, okay, guys i'm getting into the car they're closing because early on sundays, okay, guys, let me show you the color that i got i you know. I told you i was going to get the 51, but this 44 was a pretty good match. She all lifted my hair up child missing my damn. My little wrap up um. So that's that's the color. We took it out the packet. Let me show you well, you'll, see it you'll see it when i get home, but but that is the color and i told her, i didn't want it, but the roots darken and this one doesn't have the dark root. So it's that's the color. If you guys can see that so it looks like a mixture, it's not a 34, it is a 44. It looks like a mixture between 44 and um 51. So it's not a the dark dark. 44.. So we'll see how it looks - and i was looking for some um okay. Let me turn this camera around. Okay, look at that! She didn't mess my little wrap up, i'm sweating hold on. Let me turn this, this air, this ac up so yeah. My little wrap was cute when i got here child but um, so she she had to lift my thing up and make sure i was getting the right color. Okay, so let's go to the grocery store. You probably don't want to see that cause. I'M only gon na just run in there and um run out. Okay guys i am at grocery outlet um. I don't think i'm gon na do a video um, because i'm just running in there gon na grab something um for dinner. Tonight, i'm not really gon na. Do a shop with me or browse with me today: child she didn't mess my little bun up. They don't understand. It is an art getting these buns on your head. She just pulled it all. I think she thought i had one of those ones. That'S already tied up because she just lifted it up, i'm like girl. You know this. This ain't really fast to put on and i had no mirror and they was closing up so um only thing i got was that ponytail and i'm gon na show you guys. You know what i do with it. Um like i said i usually do. Do the uh old school web um and wrap it around wrapping around, but then that you know that's something that takes some time, but when you can just grab ponytail and - and i have the short one and um - and i do i have a half too - i'm Not sure you guys have, i do have a half that's great too, and so um that's easy, but when you just want to go and just throw a ponytail on or whatever and just pull your hair back, you don't feel like doing all that, because that takes All of you know not even two to three minutes. Okay, so that's my video that just guys, oh and so what else i got. I got some acetone because my nails i need to do them. Um um. I got some builder gel coming, but i'm not gon na wait for that. I'M gon na just uh take this off and um redoing myself, child honey. They getting ridiculous in those nail shops, so i had to get some acetone um and then i have some at home. I didn't think i had enough and then i got some rubber bands. Okay, um. I already got rubbed bands at home, but they had some white ones and i wanted to uh, try the white ones and see how they look. Okay, on the little hairstyle that that i do. When i do the ponytail, i usually use the black rubber bands and i have some clear ones, but i always use their plastic. I didn't want to use the plastic okay. So that's my video for today um just kind of a quick video for me running into the beauty, supply, store and um. To get me a ponytail. You know letting you guys see what ours look like here up in washington, state, okay and that's the one in bni, so we have a whole bunch of them, but i was at the one the b and i went on so i have to come away. Today, i'm going to do for you guys a uh, gray, ponytail look and i got a few different ones, so i haven't decided which ones that i'm gon na use. This is i'm gon na i'm gon na. Do a series um on you know different gray, gray, hair hairstyles, okay, because i know i'd be looking for them and i can't find them child. I find a few, but you know so. I got a couple ponytails um i'll do today to show you guys um. I think i'm gon na do the rubber band first, i'm just gon na pull it back and then show you the different ponytails, but i think i'm gon na put a few rubber bands. Now. Sorry, if you guys can't see me, i'm not that close to the camera um, because i'm using i'm not using my my regular camera, regular camera when i figure everything out. This is my first video sitting down doing any kind of hair tutorial or just you know, come not really a tutorial, just letting you guys show a little different gray hairstyles. This is that little curly ponyta, if you guys have been following me, um i did relax. My hair about six seven weeks ago and we got ta just throw that on there or whatever - and this is something that's this quick because since my hair is no longer natural um, i had it. I had natural for like 12 years, and sometimes you know it was very hard to just slick it back and throw another pointer or whatever, because you guys know what, when it comes to natural hair everything you have to go through um but anyway. So this is easy, like i'm just running off somewhere, i can just pull it back and throw one of these on here but um. Oh, let me show you what i got first, i got a few different things. I wanted to show you um some stuff. I probably not gon na i'm not gon na use today, but i want to show you. This is just some um weft hair that i use this as a ponytail a lot of times when i use this one. I just use it to put on my hair and i wrap it around and around and i wrap it in a bun, so this is just a because this is not humid. This is synthetic, and so i use this for when i want to make a messy bun and it works really good and i'll probably show you guys that sometimes because i'm doing a whole little series on um, just different gray, sleigh hairdos. Okay, now this right here, this is some weft hair. I think this is about a 12 inch. It'S not 14. This is about a 12 inch and i had wore this in a ponytail. This was beautiful. This came out really pretty, but i don't want to use my good stuff like this. If i'm just not really going nowhere, so i usually opt for um the synthetic ponytails. Now i got two new ones over here: uh, oh and then that one i showed you um, that messy one is called the ponytail weave and was in color m51 and it's by eve, hair international. Now that gray hair, i showed you on the weft that 12 inch. That was just something that i got from my beauty supply store now this right here um. This is by foxy silver, a lot of people that buy any that buy a lot of gray, um hair pieces, uh they're familiar with this brand. They they carry a lot of the different grays um, the m50 ones, the 44s, the 34s, the 280s. They carry a lot of them and they from sometimes they do. Look a little different. Take this out of here and show you guys what it looks like before. I start so it's out of two different ones. I don't know which one because i haven't opened this other one that i got in and i got this you can order this off amazon or you can go to your. I should have brought some scissors in here or you can go to your local um beauty supply store. You know what give me a second, i'm gon na run and get some scissors. Okay, guys got my scissors, and this is what this one is looking like, and this one is a number 44.. I got this in a 44 because the 51 and this this one was looking really dark, and this got a little bit of brown in it and you'll see. When i take my hair down, i have um a little bit of brown in my hair and you'll see at the because this is not really the beginning of the video i'm going to slice the other part together, because about a week ago, when i was shopping, I thought i was going to do the video i um had went. I took you guys, along with me, you'll you're, going to see this before that um and i i ended up getting this one now, the other one. So it's between that one and then this one. This is one that i just got in. Let me see and i'll show you what this looks like i well. I haven't seen it because i'm opening it with you - and this is 1b gray. I was kind of interested in this other child. They just sent some lashes some lashes in the bobby pins. Oh, you know what i need to go get those bobby pins, because because i got some gray hairpins just in case i needed them, probably won't need them, but yeah. I got gray bobby pins and gray hair pins, okay. So this it's not thick enough. I see that so what this is. This is like a dreadlock ponytail. Now i'm gon na make my own and show you guys what i'm gon na do i'm gon na mix. I was watching um mary kay, and she showed how to make uh mary kay. Do everything she showed how to make your own, and i see why, because these are kind of thin, so we're gon na see if that works in a ponytail uh setting and since my hair is not thick like it used to be because it is relaxed, it Might it might work okay so and that i think i got that in a 51? Let me see what i said: oh just one be gray, so what is that? So we are going to take my hair down hold on give me a second imma. Take my hair down, okay, guys! It'S amazing, you think you have everything you need see. This is just one of these. You think you have everything you need. I got everything under sun in here and i got everything, but what i need. So i got this just pulled in a ponytail. You see, i got some brown when um she did my hair. She cut some of the brown off when i go back in a few weeks. She'S uh i'll probably have her cut it we're going to cut until we get all the brown. I really wish it was white, but it's not. I washed my hair about two days ago and i'm thinking, let me take my rings off. I'M thinking uh that because i moisturized it, you know pretty good and just pulled it back and put a little oil in it. But i'm gon na take a little bit of this bond smoother by olaplex, just a little bit and kind of just focus on the ends, because i kind of blew dry it you know and then i'm going to guys can see me. I am just going to do some kind of little parting. You know it's hard. Let me look down here, that's hard to look in the camera and do it i'm gon na do this some rubber bands and i got um. I got some clear rubber bands. I got white, i'm not gon na use white and i got black because usually i do this with black rubber bands and i always soak them in a little bit of uh olive oil kind of to protect my hair and i've never tried the clear the clear Might look good, but i've always used the black. Actually, you know what i put that on there didn't put the oil. I just got a little bit of um a little oil just a little bit. I'M gon na put that focus on the ends of my hair smell that brown, and only one only time i really wear my hair is, if i'm wearing it in like a half wig um, i got some half wigs too, but i'm not going to show that Today, some gray, half wigs but um or a ponytail, and you see i kind of need it. My my edges are getting a little bit like they need a perm, but i'm going to wait for the relaxer and i don't know if you guys remember the other day i bought this swag goo chow, you don't hold one edge down. You hear me, it smells delicious smells great, but it does not hold edge down. So i am going to figure out my parting. I don't want you guys to sit there. This long, i'm gon na figure out my parting i'll, be right back. Okay, guys! I am trying to only put five rubber bands and i don't want a whole bunch of uh rubber bands in my hair, so i have putting this one in the middle and i just parted it. You know like here like like a diamond shade, because i want the middle to kind of just go back, so i then i got the rest of my hair just in a pulled back right now, because they're all gon na go into that one ponytail. Now, if it, it doesn't have to be perfect, because that show can't see what i'm doing here with this little mirror and you're going to take some edge control or some gel or whatever you got, lay that down yeah. So i'm going to break this in half. Probably ain't gon na be straight comb it out. Let me move this out of my way and you're going to either whatever you use in gel i'm using a little edge, control and kind of put it all around. Let'S see, i use big sectional because my arms and everything get tired, quick, take one of those rubber bands out of that olive oil, and you don't make it too tight because you don't want your head to start kind of hurting. Okay, i'm gon na pull it and do the same for the other side. Actually, let me take well do that in a minute. Y'All can see what i'm doing. I cannot that comb over there so that doesn't get in the way kind of detangle it a little bit grab you another rubber band and make sure it's almost at the same spot. Like i said i don't do mine too tight, because i don't want my. I want my hair to break and i don't want you know, and so then, okay, i'm gon na break this in half. Now you can twist it if you like or braid it, i'm not gon na braid it i'm gon na. Take this. I could have added it actually and not use the extra rubber band, but i didn't so i'm gon na just do it like this, the tube's enough, then i'm gon na grab another one and make sure you kind of detangle the hair, see. I don't do that long, exhausting way. A lot of people do them little tiny. I just i try to do it the easy way. So i'm gon na put two more right here. I'M gon na put one here one here, then i'm gon na criss cross um that over and i'll be right back. Okay, guys that's what it looks like now, just gon na brush this back into all the other hair, and i did put a little edge control on my edges. I'M going to put here and put i'll put some back here and just kind of brush it up into a ponytail and for the ponytail, i'm just gon na i'm gon na use one of these instead of those little rubber bands - and this is all the hair. I'M just gon na add this hair to the whole ponytail. Let me detangle it and you just kind of want to make it smooth as possible and that edge control because should kind of hold it get all the kinks out. It'S a little kink in here now. You can't get it all up in uh, one ponytail you can like make a ponytail, then put another one pony and just connect them, but i'll put mine all up in one i'm trying to figure out how high i want my ponytail. So i'm going to put it, i can't put it put it right there and put it back about right here, because that little ball is going to make it a little higher anyway. Okay, now i need like a small two comb. Now you can do your edges. If you like, i don't do a lot of edges. I like sideburns, though sometimes i'll, do a little bit of sideburns. I had an edge brush just a little bit another ponytail holder on here, actually a smaller one kind of let it lay down a little bit flatter. Oh goodness, i messed it all up i'll fix that. Second, now we got to figure out which one we're going to wear it's hot in here child, how hot it is where you guys at. I don't know if i want to wear this one, but maybe i'll, let you guys see what it looks like. I got. Some jail too, i don't want to put no gel on it. Okay, guys, let's see what this looks like see, the ones i always use the drawstring ones see, and then it has like a little comb right here. I don't know about this. Velcro velcro seem like you, take your hair out. Huh do okay, let's just wrap it, so you take that extra hair. That'S on that velcro part and wrap it. Let'S see if it covers it up, because it didn't give you a lot a little bit more in there cover it up. I guess yeah, i don't like how thin it is. I'M i'm gon na make one then, because you can make it and you can make it as thick or thin as you want. You guys see that so it's cute, but i think it's a little bit too thin for what i want. I, like i, would like a thicker pony, so let me i bet you to look cute in a bun, so let's just kind of wrap it in a bun to see what it looks like it looks better in a bun, don't it so what you guys think? Let me get closer. This is what the bun is. Looking like. You guys see that i don't know what the back is looking like, but i ain't gon na wear it anyway, so i ain't worried about it because i think it's a little thin for um. I, if i wear this, i would wear it in a bun. I thought it would be a little thicker, and so when i show you guys when i come back again um and do another video showing the ponytails and stuff, i will show you one that i make because you can make them thicker. So let's take this out. Okay, hold on take this out, so we're gon na put the other ponytail on okay guys. This is what the straight one looks like the inside of it. It has a comb at the bottom and a comb at the top. Then it has the drawstring. So let me loosen that up a little bit, so i can get it over the bun you're just going to take this comb, put it down in there and stretch it over that ponytail you're, going to find the drawstring and pull it tight. Now you're supposed to take the uh string and wrap it around wrap it around every time. I do that after a while. I get a i kind of get a headache, so i'm just gon na pull it tight, which i'll wrap it once maybe once and then i'm gon na tuck it inside you take some extra hair. Let me comb it out a little bit still the uh, the pack here, the whip. It actually looks better when i do it, because it's full or whatever, but this is for quickness - take some hair from the bottom. You want to just kind of wrap it around because you don't want it to uh, just in case a good wind blew and here's where you would put the the pin to hold it. I'M just going to kind of tuck it for right now. But you put the pin in there. Remember i told you i got the gray pins, i don't think you can see it hold on see. I need a pen right there hold on. Let me get a pen just so i can do it right. Okay guys. So i did find my gray hair pins. This is what they look like. I got it from amazon, they i'll link it below. They came in um just a little case like this little cute case. I think it's a couple hundred in there like 200, and i just put one at the top to hold that little thing that was sticking out and that's what they look like so, and i have bobby pins like this too. But the hairpins seem to work good for me. Um. I don't really. I looked on the back. Looked okay to me. So let you guys see, can you see the back? This is what it's looking like and like this is a synthetic um. So you don't even last forever, but it was only 19.99 um. This is what this side look like i'll turn around. I guess when i watch it back i'll see if it looked okay, okay, so that is my um ponytail um little rubber band. I didn't do the whole size, i didn't want it all. You know i just kind of wanted it right here in the middle okay. I think it's cute enough and looks, looks okay, just to run around go shopping and run around the streets or whatever all right. So you guys, let me know what you think. Let me know if you're transitioning to gray, if you're uh, if you're fed up like i was with the natural life or, if you're, still natural, okay. I do that, but so i you know, i'm like everybody does that or whatever, but i'm going to probably just come at you guys and show you guys just different ways that i style my gray hair when i'm hot or whatever, and i just don't feel like Putting um a wig on or you know what i'm saying like, because this ponytail is nothing it's like, because i can even like i said, put it just pull it back. You know - or you know this is easy when i pull it back, because i could have put this on there. That would have been cute too.
