I started having postpartum hair loss once Penelope was around 3 or 4 months old. Because it is hormonal, there really isn't anything you can do to completely stop postpartum hair loss however there are some ways you can do some damage control and not loose as much! Hope this video helps someone out or at the very least lets you know you're not the only one whose hair fell out after having a baby! #postpartumhairloss

A huge thank you to HairBurst for sponsoring this video and sending me some goodies!! I had the hardest time finding something to take for my postpartum hair loss while nursing and they have a supplement specifically for breastfeeding moms!!! USE CODE "JULIAZ10" FOR 10% OFF

Oh God, I just put that like soggy chewed-up teething cracker in my mouth hi YouTube fan. Welcome back to my channel, giving you guys a big hug new background who dis who Penelope's looking at me, like mom you're crazy. What do you guys think of the new background? Let me know in the comment section below I hadn't switched up in a while, so sweet girl, but that's a video you guys are probably gon na hear Penelope. I have her with me. Yes, so sorry for the baby noises in the background, but if you're curious and want to know more about her, I will leave my mommy channel playlist up above and then in the description box under videos mentioned you just turned eight months old today, the David I'm Filming this it's November 21st, she did use her name Munsell. I will have a another monthly update for her eighth month, video coming out soon, if you're interested in those oink those again up above and also in the description box that playlist. But if you are an avid watcher of my monthly updates with her you'll know, I have struggled with postpartum hair loss. It'S no joke, and today we're just gon na talk about it. I'M gon na tell you guys my experience with it and I'm just gon na share my products I've been using, which brings me to today's sponsor. We do have a sponsor, I'm so excited it is hair burst. So I know how cheesy this can sound, especially Chloe. It was Bolton fruit today, but if you guys have been around my channel, you guys know, like I'm honest babe, I don't know if that sounds more stupid or like I'm Tooting my own horn, because I'm not trying to do either but really, I will only work With a company, if it's a product that I would spend my own money on and that I'm genuinely intrigued by, I get reached out to a lot by companies who you know like their products. Cool yeah I'd be awesome to make money from it. But I don't know it just does fit me yeah and it's just not something that I would genuinely buy so anyways when Harris reach out to me. I was like where were you eight months ago, or I should say more like three four months, because that's when I really started my hair was falling out in clumps and I did at the time I started researching like what to do for postpartum, hair loss products And I had the hardest time finding a supplement that you can take while nursing, so I am currently still nursing Penelope and that's one thing it's so hard if you are nursing the caution with products that you use on your body and consume doesn't end after you Have the baby it has to continue because nursing they are gon na get a lot of the things you ingest or put on your body. So what I think is awesome about this company. Is they have a daily vitamin? It'S called healthy hair for new moms. That is specifically designed for us. You guys us not only postpartum hair loss but us nursing, postpartum, hair loss mamas, which, if you're not nursing, you can still take this. They also have like a normal version like not for nursing moms in a gummy form. They do have the pills I like the pill form because I don't know first thing in the morning. I don't really want a gummy bear, but they do have that available. If you're into that hey baby, you just want to be close by me. Hopefully, the lighting isn't being too crazy because she's anyways these puppies, contain biotin, zinc, vitamins and minerals in selenium, and it's so nice like. I can confidently take these knowing like okay, no, these are made for me. They'Re made for nursing can even take these while you're pregnant as well, so, if you're having hair issues when you're in my belly. But if you are, you can take these while you're pregnant, which I do have a coupon code. It'S just gon na be Julia's eat. Ed and you get 10 % off your whole order, it's not an affiliate code, so I don't make money when you buy it, it's just to save you guys, money and they're also having a really good Black Friday sale right now, everything is buy. One get one free and I think that's gon na last until the 29th, so there's such a good deal. The other thing they sent me is the shampoo and conditioner. It comes in a little box set just like this. It'S made with avocado and coconut for all hair types, sodium, lauryl, sulfate, free and paraben free and it's for longer, stronger hair. This says: reduces breakages color protection, soothing and calming for skin and scalp holds in moisture hair. Strengthening Pro vitamin b5 vitamin E over 95 % of the ingredients are all-natural in these smell. So good you guys. Okay, this is a stupid, silly detail that I like, but so the conditioners pink and the shampoo is blue, which the packaging is adorable. I hate when shampoo and conditioners have the same exact packaging, and you know we can't tell a difference unless, if you like read it, I don't know it's been really easy using this shower. So I'm like oh blue shampoo, wash that's first and then the conditioner. I don't know if you understand what I'm trying to say, but these smell amazing Oh smells like coconut, like a good nice, it's not an overpowering coconut. It'S just like a nice smooth, coconut smell and the conditioner has the same smell. It just smells amazing, you guys, so I've only been using these products. I'Ve got them in about a week ago, so I can't wait to see the results after using this puppy up. Like I said, I really wish I had this when I was in the bulk of my hair falling out, because maybe I wouldn't have lost so much hair like I did. I lost a lot of hair you guys, but one thing about the shampoo is: I don't really use the sulfate or paraben free shampoos or conditioners very often, because you don't get that like silky, smooth filling that you get from your Dove shampoo, hair and conditioner, which I usually use, but it does have silicones and things like that that, in the long run, are not good for your hair and will cause breakage, which maybe that's why my hair looks like this. But this shampoo and conditioner does not leave your hair feeling super dry. Like a lot of the other ones, I've tried so yeah if you're watching this and are pregnant or your baby is like a month or two old and you're like oh, my hair hasn't started falling out. I still recommend buying this. So that way, you have it on hand start it now start taking your vitamins start using the shampoo and conditioner now, and maybe you can kind of reduce the damage, especially because they have that buy one get one free sale going on so I'll link these products Down below, thank you so much to hair verse for sponsoring this video. Do you want to come sit with Mama? Oh my gosh. She has crackers all over hi. This is Penelope guys still in her pajamas. Okay, so, like I said guys, my hair loss started about three four months and literally it just boom overnight. Clumps were coming out. I couldn't believe how much hair I was losing, and I know a lot of people say like. Oh, I've never had a baby and my hair comes out like that, but it was way more than that. Again I don't know if you can see all the baby hairs they're. Finally growing back, but I lost so much hair. I did all kinds of research and honestly there's really nothing. You can do to completely stop it, like I said, taking the vitamins using a good quality, sulfate and paraben free, shampoo and conditioner that'll help. Another thing, too, is they see not to wash your hair as much so long story short throughout my hair journey. I'Ve noticed - and I know this is complete opposite from anything that you read about growing your hair, but I've noticed throughout the past couple years the times that I am washing my hair everyday. My hair is just so much healthier. It grows faster again. I know. That'S crazy and that's not what it's supposed to do like washing your hair every day, it's supposed to strip you of your oils, then your hairs not gon na grow as fast, but that's the eye thing that's nice about the shampoo and conditioner guys is. I think I read on the website: it's safe for everyday. You saw, I don't know, that's just my tip. So if you've been trying the whole, not washing your hair for a couple days and you're like I feel like it's not doing anything, do whatever you think works best for your hair. I feel like hair is a lot like skin, where it's like, just because something works for me doesn't mean it's gon na work. For you, everybody's hair oils, scalp genetics is different. The other thing to guys is drink, your water. I know that's so annoying and everybody says that, but if you are healthy on the inside, your hair's gon na show it on the outside kind of goes with the idea of taking a nice vitamin. You want to start your hair grow from the inside out, but that I totally agree with when I'm not drinking my water. Everything is bad. My hair, my skin, my lips, so yeah a couple of your products. I know a lot of you guys always ask me what I use on my hair and as far as treatments I've been using that I love and I uh I can't decide which one is better. Do you want to play with the box, but so the two i've been using is the miracle fruit, oil seed treatment crackers. If you guys watch my gravy shows, i featured this and i'm still using it. It is expensive, it's 50 bucks, but this miracle fruit oil, is a pricey item. The packaging is so bougie and it really does work. What i like about this is because i have thin fine hair. Usually oils don't work for me. They just make it greasy. No matter what amount i put it this one, the oil is so much like your own natural hair oil that it doesn't leave it excessively oily. So I like this one another one I've been using is the Evita damage, rub damage remedy daily hair repair, so I got in my boxycharm. I think - and I had heard a lot of really good things before I got it in the boxycharm, and I had it in on my Amazon cart at one point again, I think this is pricey as well. It'S like 30 bucks, but anyways. I got in my box and I've really been liking it. I can't tell you how many products like this I've tried, like serum sprays, RC & Co or BAE, like all these expensive brands. I'Ve also tried a lot of drugstore brands. I'Ve tried oh gee. Oh gee Y X or OGX uh those products. I just I keep buying them and I keep trying different ones and they just don't work for me they're one of those products that make you seem like. Oh, my god, this is gon na, be amazing and then any time I've used it. I just hasn't worked for me. I tried seeds organics, I don't know it's a line of natural hair stuff in Sephora that didn't work. For me, I just I've. Really. My hair is so stubborn. Do you play? I brought some fun toys for you to play with, but anyways realistically I probably tried within the past five years or so I've probably tried a solid 20 different products, so these two are the best. So far I do want to talk about one more product and then we can go break, so this product is not necessarily as good for your hair as the evita and the miracle fruit oil. This I use more for styling, which it does say right on there. Biologic, it's ah, it's smooth shine milk, and this I like using on days where I want my hair to look decent if we're going to an event or something so I'll. Just this how I use it, I just light at least give it a little joust. I like to do it more when it's wet, but it kind of helps tame a little bit of frizz. Like again, I've tried so many frizz Taymor's I'll, even spray it on my ends sometimes and brush it through. Don'T judge me guys. I have not cleaned the hair in my brush, but I don't know this is the only frizz product that I've tried that I might it genuinely does control my frizz so I'll link that below for you to. I have tried it's a ten as well a couple different products, and I know people swear by those too, but again I just for the price I'm like. I don't really see that much of a change you're done with this video huh baby. I'M sure you guys are too cuz. I'Ve just been sitting here, blabbing, so anyways. Thank you guys so much for taking some time out of your day to come by this channel. If you're not subscribed, make sure you are. I hope this video was helpful for you guys and gave you some options to try and if, at the very least, at least by the end of this video, you feel like. Okay, I'm not the only one going bald so anyways. I will let you guys go and I'll catch you in my next video
