Hey guys and welcome back today, i'm kind of excited kind of nervous. I'M going to be dyeing my hair, i'm going to be coloring, my hair. I don't know what you want to call it with a conditioner, so i did a video like this. Oh, my gosh - i don't even know it maybe two years ago now, where i use the sorry lincoln's here talking as always excuse that anyways, where i colored my hair with the overtone, rose gold. I at that time had bleached hair, very, very light blonde hair and i put the rose gold on it and it worked beautifully. It was gorgeous that video is actually my most viewed video by a bunch. I have it just reached 30 000 views, which seems really really strange to me to think that many people have seen that video. That'S just i know that's a small number to most, but that's just insane to me anyways. I thought i would do another overtone color. This time with my natural color, this is pretty much my natural color. It'S been dyed back to brown, but um. It has grown out some and they're, like you, can't tell any difference between the roots and the hair color. This is basically what my natural hair color is, but it has been bleached in the past and colored on top. So a lot of this has had color on it before, but today we're going to be trying one of their colored conditioners for brown hair to see how much you can actually see how much it actually shows up on brown hair and i'm going to be using The overtone red for brown hair main focus on this video is the overtone. I did, however, try out the moroccan oil, red bordeaux or something on my hair, and i have a little bit of information on that as well kind of comparing it, but it wasn't designed for brown hair. So it didn't show up a whole lot on me, but my sister. I know this is a very long intro sorry, but my sister-in-law um had some bleached spots in her hair, and so we put it on hers as well, and i have some photos of how i did on her hair. But we'll compare the two, but not really because they're not the same thing. Okay, anyways today is all about the overtone red for brown, hair, coloring conditioner, so i wanted to get a nice before no sir, no sir, no sir well lincoln now looks like the tin man and he's covered in silver shadow all right. Moving on, i wanted to get a nice before shot, so you could really see the color um and i'm going to show you after in the same lighting and camera settings, so you can get a nice look at what the color looks like what it does. My hair, so i'm going to speed through this. Let you see the process but like speed it up, because it's going to take me forever to put this on, i'm going to put on something other than a white t-shirt, and i'm going to start putting this all over my hair if you're new to overtone this, Can be used in the shower after your hair is already wet and leave it in, but the most effective way is to put it on dry hair and let it set and then wash it. So that's what i'm going to do today. It says yeah. The instructions. Do say to put it on dry hair, wait 10 to 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly with warmer hot water use weekly to keep color fresh, so we're going to apply this, let it set and then wash it out and see what it looks like. I don't know if i will dry it or sleep overnight in braids, like my hair is right now, but just depends on how late it's getting so, let's get this process started. I don't know why i did that so last time i did this. I did do this in the bathroom and it's much easier um, but i'm going to attempt to do this in here, so i can use the lights and uh. Hopefully have it look a little bit better. I do recommend wearing gloves um. These are just cheap, little plastic gloves, but um just to protect your hands from the color. It can't you can get it off, but it's just much easier all right. So i'm going to section my hair off first, okay and you - you could do this with like a coloring brush um, but i don't have one, and so i am just going to use my hands. I should have opened this before the gloves. Came on another side. Note about this product, it smells incredible. I love the smell of overtone. Products holy cow, that's red, so that is what the products look like looks like. That is insanely red um. I wish i could describe this smell. I don't know why, but i love love. The smell of this stuff has a slight minty smell, i think, but all right lincoln. This is a big. Do not touch okay, so, let's just start applying so so all right. I think that my hair is thoroughly saturated. I'Ve used, maybe half of it. On my hair, i have combed it through and i have double checked. Hopefully uh. My hair is thoroughly coated, so i'm gon na leave this on for 15 minutes rinse it off, and then we will see what it looks like all right guys you ready for the reveal. I decided to go ahead and dry it and curl it. So here is what it looks like after rinsing out the overtone. Conditioner keep in mind. My hair is a fairly dark brown, and i really just expected this to give my hair a nice warm tint, and it did. I think that in the sunlight, you're really going to be able to see that red, i can see it a lot on the ends where my hair is lighter from being bleached, but i actually really like the way this turned out. It'S nice and warm and rich. I think if you had lighter brown, hair it'd be very, very vibrant red but yeah. What do you guys think i always love the way my hair looks after using overtone. It'S always so shiny and smooth. I just i really really enjoy these products things that you can do to make this last longer. How long does this normally last on me when i did the rose gold one, i would say about six to seven washes if you wash your hair in cold water. So that's tip number one wash your hair in cold water. If you use hot water or warm water, it will pull the color out faster use. A gentle shampoo don't be using a clarifying shampoo, again strip out the color. You can use the conditioner to refresh the color, there's still there's still quite a bit in that tub, so um. What i will probably do is go in and use it as like a conditioning mask in the shower when my hair is already wet. So it's not like the whole process again, but it'll help keep that color red so really enjoy this. Let me know what you think in the comments below. Let me know if you've tried any of these colors when i did have bleached hair, it works a lot. It'S a lot more noticeable of a difference, but really wanted to try one of the ones that was designed for brown hair to see if it actually worked - and i mean obviously it's not going to lighten my hair and make it like a bright fire engine red. But i think that it gave my hair a nice red tint and i do enjoy it. One other note: if you want this color to come out right away, get in the swimming pool, so it will take the color out pretty quickly. So if you are swimming - and you want your color to last - don't put your hair in the water, because that pool water will definitely pull that color out really really fast. Yeah, oh uh, the moroccan oil, so i'm gon na put some pictures right here of this. Is amy my sister-in-law her hair beforehand? Now she did have her hair, bleached and dyed red at one point and it had faded. So i bought her the moroccan oil to refresh her red color. So this is what it looked like before we did it and then after and she sent me a few pictures as it started to fade again, it's about a the color stays pretty well for the first three or four washes, and then it will start to fade. Um and be gone after about six or seven, depending on how you wash your hair, i throw that out there and i do have a little clip of what my hair looked like with the moroccan oil. So i'm gon na try and do a side by side of nothing on my hair moroccan oil on my hair and overtone on my hair. Just so you can see uh the differences between the two, so that is going to be it for this video. If you did enjoy this, please give it a thumbs up and if you haven't already - and you want to see future videos hit, that subscribe button down below and i'll see, you guys next time stay gorgeous bye, hey guys. What was this, i'm, like my left hand, doesn't wave right, then there's a baby foot, no, sir! No, sir! No sir! No, why did you do that this? He he's sitting right here next to me destroying a palette. Why look at these hands? Do you see these hands? That is not okay, baby. Why did you destroy mommy's palette? Huh mommy loves you very much, but we don't do that. You understand
