What'S up youtube, it's your girl, kiana marie and i'm back again with another video. So today we have a 613 blonde wig from the company lumiere hair on amazon. This is a 20 inch body weight, wig and right now, i'm just showing you guys. Everything as it came out the box and we're going to get into customization, so this wig is 150 density with a pre-plugged hairline, the hairline did come pre-plucked, but since it is a bright color and i plan to tone it into an even lighter color, i wanted To make sure that it was fully customized so right here, you could just see me going over it with my tweezers and really going into the front to get the areas that i want to take out. Plugging this wig only took me about five minutes. If i'm gon na be honest, there wasn't really much to pluck. I just wanted to make sure everything was exactly how i wanted it, because i wanted the hairline to come out over my face a certain way, so that way that it gave the frontal effect. But there are a few things i have to let y'all know before the install begins. I messed this wig up. I did it wasn't by plucking. It was from how i colored it, because i had to use a specific product to get the color that i wanted, but i did end up being messed up. So this is what it looked like when it was customized and it was all right. As you can see, the hairline looks nice. The sides are looking good and then, when it comes down it's going to give that frontal effect that i want. I know it might look like i'm over plucking the hair a little bit, but when it's wet it looks a lot different than when it's dry. That'S why i'm going in again with my tweezers just thinning out some spots, because i know that once it dries, those spots will look thinner than i think they actually are. That is one issue that i run into it's better: to use something to wet the hair. When you're plucking, but you also got to remember how it looks when it's dry, so you don't want it too thin. But you also don't want it too thick and now i'm just going to put a part into the middle of the hair to make sure that it's going to give that frontal effect that i want it to trying to comb it in the way that i wanted To lay when it comes over my face just basic plucking stuff - you guys have seen me done this before in my videos. Now i want you guys to take a mental note of what this wig looks like after i'm not see. Look at that look at how beautiful it looks perfectly customized, baby hairs out. This is where we messed up. I used the shimmer and lights toning shampoo right, so i got the hair wet. You know just regular stuff and i'm just gon na rub the shampoo through it. This is my first time using shimmer and lights to tone 613 hair, and i did not know that you are supposed to be scarce with the amount that you're using. So i'm rubbing it through, you know i'm thinking, i'm doing a great job, rubbing it through the hair, putting some more on the hair. At that mind you, i was not aware of how shimmer and lights are supposed to be used. So, as you can see, the rest of the bathroom is getting like extremely blue and i'm thinking you know this is normal stuff. It'S a toning, shampoo, i've seen videos where people used it, but i didn't take note that you're not supposed to use that much. So right here, i'm just brushing the shampoo throughout the hair and applying even more once again y'all i messed up. I messed up bad. I messed up that this is the moment where i, i think, yeah i completely ruined this wig. As you can see, some of the blue isn't coming off. Like you, you see those little blue streaks. Now look what's about to happen when i start washing the hair out and i'm i'm scrubbing the wig, because this is the moment that kiana realized she messed up. Those little blue streaks aren't coming out. You see me rubbing my hands through it. It'S still not coming out that entire top of the wig it is now blue. It turned blue, i'm i'm not even joking. My wig turned blue and i was stressing because it's supposed to be a blonde wig. I can't have blonde and blue and it's it's mixing into like a light. Green too. It wasn't. I don't know if it shows on camera, but it wasn't right now, a little bit after this part. I did stop. Recording y'all y'all, see me scrubbing my fingers together. I did stop recording because i had to use an entire full bottle. I'M talking the big bottles of dawn dish: soap, like the blue, platinum dish. Soap, i had to use an entire bottle of that and an entire bottle of clarifying shampoo. Now i did get the color out. I did, but it took most of the hair with it. I had to wash the wig at least like 20 times, and i just wasn't detangling it during that process. So the closure went bald because i was just scrubbing. I had to literally scrub the wig like it was a piece of dirty cloth to try and get the color out. So this is me in the beginning, showing you guys. You know everything that usually comes with wig. This time it only came with a wig cap and a bag that says thank you for choosing us. This is the bald wig. I ain't even show you guys me putting the foundation on putting the wig cap on nothing. We just gon na get straight into trying to fix this wig. As you can see, the side tracks are showing right there because the closure is balded, so my main priority is just trying to fix this wig up and make it look as natural as possible without having to throw it away right now, i'm taking my mousse, it's The same mousse that i use all the time, i think it's like the brand similar to pump it up spritz and i'm just putting that on the front of the hair, because the thing is with platinum, hair. You can see all the flyaways all the little straight hairs, so i'm brushing those up so that way i can start cutting the lace. Now i'm gon na cut the lace in a very specific way in order to one hide those side tracks and two make this wig look as natural as possible. So i started by cutting my line in the middle now i couldn't cut it on camera, because i was just really scared of jeopardizing this wig even more so i had to find a good place to put my mirror down and then just start cutting the lace. I'M cutting the lace in a zigzag motion like i usually do, and i'm just following the balded hairline. Instead, to make sure that the hair is proper and i'm trying to cut it as close to the weft, where those side tracks are but not close enough to cut it, so that way the let the sorry i almost just said left so that way, the weft Can stay flat and be covered by the hair, as you see me, do right there and now i'm just about to do the same thing on the other side, the reason why i'm following the hairline of the ball did closure is so that way i can customize It myself, instead of cutting it even more making it look worse, y'all see how natural the wig looks already, and it's not even fully on my head. So the next step is to just go in again with some foundation and try to get rid of that harsh line. That'S showing right where the closure is because i want it to blend as much as possible. My hair is practically white. I look like storm from the x-men, so i want it to look like skin. I wanted to give skin, so you see me, lift it up right there, showing y'all the shape of the hairline and how it looks when it's lifted up. So next step is going in with our wax stick or some mousse and just getting all those flyaways down, y'all, probably wondering what i'm doing and why i have the side track shown like that. I turned my heat wand. All the way up, my hot comb still did not come in y'all. I'M sorry, i turned the wand all the way up and now i'm just putting the wax stick right on those sides. The reason why is i want the sides to lay perfectly flat so that way when the closure covers it, you don't see that hump right where the weft is, since my closure was balded, so i'm just making sure to put some wax on that brushing it down. First, with my edge brush and then i'm gon na go in with my wand, making sure it's hot and i'm just gon na hold it down on the lace till i feel the heat through the wig just to make sure that part is flat. Honestly, i think this is the first video where i haven't burned myself with the wand, but now i'm just taking my edge stick. You know my. She is bomb edge. Stick i'm actually starting to like this one, a little bit more than the even one because it does hold longer. So i'm just taking that going over the top of my hair and i'm fixing up any flyaways that exists within the hair. I think i might cut some layers into this later on, but once i put that one down and i keep going over it as you can see, those flyaways are completely slicked down and i think i'm gon na use that wax tape to help me flat iron. It just a little bit better so today we are not using glue for this install because the wig is sitting on my head perfectly fine. I don't think i need to use glue, so i'm just taking my trusty got to be spray. Now it was um. You know when the spray freezes up at the hole and it can't come out, so i had to take my comb and just pick at it and now it's spraying again. So i'm just dabbing a good layer of that on my forehead and then i'm literally going to drag the wig down to where i want it to be, and that is literally about it. It'S already it's practically laying itself and it took literally minimal effort. I didn't have to do much to lay this wig down, i'm taking the rat tail comb and i'm just combing the hair right over that hump. So that way you cannot see it and i'm doing the same thing for the next side. Combing it down fully and then bringing the hair from the closure over it, so that way from the front you're not able to see it. Now, after this i realized, i did place the wig a little bit over more because i was wondering why one side was showing more than usual. So since my spray wasn't dry yet i literally shifted the wig, as you can see right there and now, i'm just making sure everything is good again and that i can start flat ironing the wig since the hair is already straight from me, blow drying and flat. Ironing yesterday, when that whole disaster happened, i'm not really gon na flat iron, it too much it's already. Given the look, i want it to now. If you see the back of my head, looking wavy do not come for me. Don'T come for me because i'm not going nowhere, i'm just showing you guys how i ended up fixing this install. So don't come for me because one little strand in the back of my head is wavy, i'm going over it and i'm doing a lazy girl flat iron, because that is what i felt comfortable doing, trying to get the back as much as i can. I know. I'M not gon na get all of it, but please do not do me all right, so y'all know i like to do my little talking montage whenever i'm doing stuff um. Okay, she moves okay, um. Let me start off by saying how bad i messed up the front of this wig. When i was watching it, i showed y'all the ball spots and stuff it's fixed. I just have to make sure i don't let the sides show too much for this wig. It'S fixed, i'm probably gon na get a ventilator needle just to fix it. It is either 150 or 180. I'M gon na put it somewhere on the screen, so you guys can see and i toned it until it was platinum blonde because i didn't want like the yellow goldilocks blonde. I wanted something a little bit lighter. I feel like i look like storm um. I haven't had 6 13 hair since last year or the year before. No, since i would say 2020., yes, since 2020, i have not had 613 here so guys got ta make. Let me know if you like the new look. I contacted the seller that i got this from and she felt so bad for me, but we we figured out a way to fix this. It wasn't the seller's fault, it was my fault. I kept trying to take the blue dye out of the wig and i ended up balding the wig. You could literally ask like. I watched the wig i think about, i think, over like 20 times in one sitting i just kept washing it. I used an entire bottle of blue dawn dish soap and i'm not talking a little bottle. I'M talking to big bottles. I use the big one because i couldn't get it out, so the dawn probably did that to the front and i wasn't brushing it out when i was washing. I was just scrubbing: i'm ashy, i'm real ashy. I was just scrubbing so yeah, okay, so i'm kind of feeling it kind of not, i feel like it brings on my skin tone, definitely giving stuff. I thought it wasn't savable but turns out it was savable. It'S like a platinum blonde. There'S like gray streaks. I don't know if you can see it on camera, but there's gray streaks inside the hair, so yeah guys. That is it for the video don't forget to like comment and subscribe bye. You
