Dying A Wig 99J Watercolor Method | Beauty Forever Hair Closure Wig

He looks so good, i'm so excited hello, everyone and welcome back to kayla's corner in today's video. I'M going to be showing you all how i got this hair. This co learn y'all the hair is poppin. I think i just should become a hair stylist. I think that's what i need to do, what y'all? What y'all think, let me know, because the hair is it now y'all, i'm gon na show y'all the picture, the color of the hair when i first started, and if you think it's not cuter now you you just not it okay, we we're just gon na, be Friends, you can't be my subscriber if you think i didn't slay this hair color, okay, i'm just playing you could be my subscriber but come on now. What colors i use if you're interested in any of this process, you guys know that all you got to do is just stay tuned. You guys this hair was sent to me by beauty fit ever um. I did a review on this hair, so go ahead and check the review out if you have not seen it already, but this is the color of the hair. When i first got it as you can see, it says: 99j, the camera is picking it up. A little bit dark, but let me tell you honey: it was fire truck red when i received it and i was like no, we are not doing that. So i decided to take it upon myself to dye the hair. Now, before you dye, the hair make sure you spray the lace with some got to be free spray and let it sit for at least 24 hours during this process. Do not be impatient and dye the hair before that and do not be stingy with the freeze spray. Okay, lots of free spray in at least 24 hours. All right, you guys, so the watercolor process is super easy. You really only need two ingredients, which is some hot water, which is what i'm pouring in now and then you're also going to need some hair dye of your choice. Some semi-permanent hair dye of your choice, i'm going to be using two different types of red, slash, burgundy's and then i'm also going to be using a jet black. So basically, what you're going to do is pour the die into the water in increments, so that the dye doesn't clump up. You just pour a little bit in there and stir it with a brush comb. Whatever you have so that you can mix it up, um one thing i do want to know is that your dye to water ratio does matter the more dye you have, the better the hair is going to die and take. I dare only pour a little bit of a black in there just to give it a deeper burgundy didn't put too much. I really didn't even use like half of the bottle, really only put like that one little squirt in there, and it was enough. If you want your red to be darker, you can always add more black. So now for the fun part, which is dipping the hair honey, so what you want to do is dip the hair, don't be afraid to dip the hair. Now i was scared to dip the lace at first or the hair. The whole wig because i was like oh child - i don't want this lace to tent, so i was really scared, but eventually i was like okay you're, just gon na go down in there, because i'm not gon na be all day with you trying to dip this Hair so, and then, as you're dipping, you want to make sure that you're combing the hair outside that the dye can evenly distribute um and then so that also that the hair doesn't tangle. While i was going through, i did actually put some of the actual semi-permanent dye on the hair because i felt like some of the parts wasn't getting enough dye. So, as you see me here, just putting a little bit more red on the hair and mix it in with semi-permanent hair dye make sure you have gloves, because this stuff will stain your hands, regular dye dust in your hands. But it comes out way easier than semi-permanent. So after i felt like i had dipped the hair enough. I eventually just dropped the wig and let it sit in there for a little bit, but i do explain that process so just keep watching all right, yeah. I'M back because i've let this sit for like 30 minutes in the little dye mixture. So now i'm just going to drain it and let it sit for another um overnight. Basically, so let's take it out and it looks so freaking good! Oh, my god, look at it. Oh, so excited i'm just gon na go through and make sure that all the strands are dyed. Oh, it looks so good, i'm so excited um. The lace did get tinted as you see. So if you know me, you know i'm cheap and i would keep this mixture if i really could. But i don't know what else i would need it for, but oh to sit overnight, i am going to keep the water mixture just in case uh when i rinse it out. It'S not the cover that i want it. I can just add some more hot water, and then i have a little bit of dye left over there, so i can just add it to make it a little bit darker if i need to because um, if you've, never dyed hair before it's always darker, when It'S wet than it is when it dries so this is it's not going to be this dark so, but i think it's going to be cute. I like it so far. The roots are a little bit brighter, but that's fine um, like i said i'm gon na. Let this sit overnight before i rinse it out, and then i will so actually i let this sit for about two days, so this is like two days later, when i rinsed it out. In that little talking portion, you hear me say that the dye did the lace, but it actually didn't. If you know anything about tea, part wigs. You know that they come with a little cloth part under it, so the lace wasn't tinted. It was that cloth apart. So like here on the mannequin, you see that the lace is perfectly fine, but on the part the part is red because the part has a cloth, so the got7 doesn't protect cloth. It protects the lace if that makes any sense. So if you have a regular closure rig with a regular frontal wig as long as you spray the got to be freeze spray on it, you should be fine, so okay yeah, i just wanted to let y'all know that i think i laid and slayed fried died, Laid to the side this week, okay, it is fire, and i am so proud of myself. I am so happy with i'm feel, like i'm yelling, i'm so proud of myself and i'm so happy with the way this wig turned out this color. This is probably my favorite wig now that i have this wig is so cute like so fire. Oh my gosh, i just love this wig so much. I think the color turned out amazing. It has so much different colors to it like different hints of red is not just one one, one um solid color of red, so i think that that is really cute, and this is my favorite wig, thus far, um yeah, i'm so happy with the way that It turned out, and i think it's fire like i - i don't know what else to say. I just think it's cute, it's so cute, like wow. If i'm being really honest, if the process was so easy like, i would do it all over again a little pricey for semi-permanent uh, semi-permanent hair color. But i mean i would do it all over again i'll comment down below and let me know what y'all think and we're just gon na go ahead and get into the quote of the day. So let me find one for us um. I know i have a list of quotes, we're going to do this, one believe in yourself, you're capable of more than you imagined. So i needed that. Okay, because i procrastinated dying this hair because i was like it's not going to be cute like it's not going to turn out the way i wanted to. But you know it turned out cute, so believe in yourself you are capable of more than you can imagine that is the quote of today.
