Hi everyone - i hope you are having a wonderful week, so today's wig i want to share with you all - is the skim milk wig. Now this wig comes in this beautiful brown color. It comes with lace that is very undetectable. So, let's talk about the lace for a second, because i get a lot of questions so with this particular lace, it's meant to be very skin, like once, you apply it. It'S not supposed to be visible, however, for my darker skin, ladies i'm going to give you some tips in a second on how you can make it blend with your skin even more. If you still feel like it is a bit light. So, let's go into the cap construction! The cap look like this. This is a 13 by 6 lace cap. I'M going to go ahead and show you all how you can make the lace work if you feel like the color is a bit off so for me, i like to flip the cap inside out. There are several options. The first option is like the lace tints. This one right here is actually a hair mousse. However, it is a lace. Tint smells amazing. It comes in two different colors. You can find this at any um beauty supply store or you can order online. I will link it below in the description box, but basically you just apply this to the lace. You can also apply this after your wig install around the hairline, if you also use it for styling and also just to help that lace blend with your scalp. So i'm just applying it to the inside of the cap, i'm just showing you the option that i chose and, as you can see, it is giving a slight tint to that lace. So you do want to dry it, of course, with the dryer um. That way, you won't have like this wet lace, um, and if you are using this on hair, that's already installed, you can just go onto your regular styling. The next option would be the lace tint by even - and this is a aerosol spray. So this one comes in several different shades. The shade i like to use is light brown. However, the light brown is a bit too dark for me, especially if i don't have a tan so moving into the cooler months. I most likely will not even use this unless i'm using like the beige or color like that, so you apply that the same exact way and you can also dry that you do not apply this to the other side of the cap. Just the inside of the lace, so let's talk about the hairline on this wig. This does have the new hairline. However, this hairline is super thin. So if you like the super thin hairline this way it comes with it. The thin hairlines like this, you do have to kind of work with them a bit more and be more delicate with them. However, if you get it right, it can look very, very natural. So what i'm doing now is just opening up the parting and pushing back that hairline before i apply the wig, i'm also going to add some curls around the hair. I absolutely love the brown colors. I just feel like it just gives life to the face. For some reason, more so than the darker colors, so if you are looking to change up your color, but you don't want to go too light, then this color is definitely the next best thing alright. So i want you all to pay attention to the hairline after i cut the lace, so this is what it looked like once i apply the wig without anything and i'm just going to go ahead and remove the extra lace now, as you all can see. Since i did tint that lace, the lace now does not blend perfectly with my complexion. Just because, like i said during this time, i lose my tan, so i don't really need to use the lace tints. So i just wanted to show you what the lace tints look like. This is the color that it achieved using both of those. So if you needed to darken your lace, you can definitely you know darken it with those two products or just one of the products. Some people prefer to spray other people prefer the mousse, it's just up to you and what you want. So i'm gon na go ahead and just style this wig, so you all can see. I love the density. The density on this wig is very natural. So if you aren't a person that, like really big hair, this wig definitely has that comfortable density. However, you won't be able to get much volume if you like volume, so just keep that in mind, and this texture is a straight texture now, because the tints made the lace more visible on me, i'm going to add a few baby hairs around the edges. Just to hide that lace and that's another thing to keep in mind a lot of times, you may have the perfect lace color. If you use the tense and it don't match your skin, then it will leave a visible line from that lace. Even if the lace is invisible lace, so there's a lot of things to consider when trying to melt your lace so to lighten up a bit. I went in with my airbrush foundation: that's matched my skin, but i did go into the hair a little bit. So what i'm going to do, i'm going to take this even wax stick, and this one is in the color brown they now come in color. So if you were to over bleach your knots, you can just add that, to the roots of the hair, to fix anything and that's what i'm doing right here, just to fix the areas all right. So that is all i hope this video was very helpful.
