6 Month Alipearl Curly Headband Wig Update

Hey guys, this is cam camera. My name is kevin vancasewary curious. Thank you for joining me for another video and, if you're new then welcome this about the third video yeah, the third video that i am filming today, i decided to do my makeup, so i'm trying to get as many videos out as i can so you'll, be Seeing this look at least three times so this video is about this wig. So i don't remember the specifics. I have an unboxing video. That'S like tells all the specifics on it that i have an initial review and now i'm giving you, i guess, like a six month, update honestly, because i got this wig for christmas and we are now in june. So almost six months i guess, but it's still like it still has the same exact curl pattern. I know it doesn't happen right now, but that's because, like i didn't, feel like wetting, it a whole lot and brushing it out and making it look like the wet. Look today, i just i kind of liked it big, so it is not as soft as it used to be especially the ends. They are getting a little bit, not raggedy, but a little bit rough like rougher, and it's only like this like when it's dry or like when it's brushed out dry like this, like when it's wet with the conditioner or whatever you put in it. I spray a leave-in conditioner recently i've been using the beyond beauty beyond glamorous beauty, cosmetics, um leave-in - that i use in one of my videos and it's in one of my vlogs. I don't know if this is going up before the vlog or not. But here we are um but yeah, so i use um i what, when i like, actually refresh my hair, i spray it with water like spray with a ton of water. Then i spray, then i detangle it, and then i spread that leave-in conditioner. On top just to make sure it smells good and it stays like soft um. I haven't used shampoo on it. I'Ve only co-washed, my hair and i used um the curl clump cleanser by dark and lovely, and then i also used um. I just had like a little bit left, so i used my jamaican black castor oil uh co-wash from as i am, and i think i've only used those two products to wash my hair um, but they're both out right now. So i'm gon na have to find another co-wash to use. I have an allocate naturals one that i think i'm gon na try next, because this is curly hair. So i've been using my products that are for curly hair um. Anyway, it does tangle pretty bad, mostly in the neck area. Um, like i said, the curl pattern is still here. Well, i never straightened it or anything like that, but um. I have realized that if you don't take proper care, it will be tangled and that's how it is like. I feel like with all curly hair, wigs and weaves, and things like that. So it's to be expected, but it's not gon na be silky all the time. You'Re gon na have to get some serious knots out, especially if you don't have like a wig head yo. If you, if you don't, have a wig head, then it's curtains like you, you're gon na have to brush it every time you put it on like this. Isn'T just a throw on your head and go type of wig? This is a throw on your head. Detangle wet condition a little bit. It'S that type of wig, but i mean most of us with curly hair, already know how that goes anyway. So, like i mentioned it does tangle um, it's still really pretty. I really like it um. I think in my initial video. I didn't cut it, but like now i have it cut kind of just like in more of a shape because it was just like all the same length. So now i have it go like this a little bit. Obviously, i'm not a professional, so it doesn't look as good as it should it. You can see it better when my hair is like super defined. It'S super easy so like for me right now i have on like i have an old braid for what i thought was gon na be a braid out, but i didn't really like the way the braids were looking, so i never took them out because i knew The braid - i wasn't gon na, be what i wanted it to be so um. My hair is literally just braided how i would braid it for a braid out underneath this um and it makes it so easy because you don't have to worry about doing your hair. It'S a great protective style. Your hair is tucked away like i've been wearing this wig. I think for like a week now i mean i've, obviously been wearing on and off for different weeks. When i don't feel like doing my hair or when i'm not filming. I try to literally just have this wig on, like that's what i do when i'm, because i like to film, like probably like three videos a wash day, so i don't have to worry about. You know content going up for the next week and a half or so so i like to wear my wig after, like on the weeks i'm off and it has not failed me. Yet it's still super cute. I still get compliments on it. Wow. It'S really fluffy. Today, i just want to show you guys it brushed out um. I have not used. I use mousse on it one time um, but that mousse is kind of weird. I use the eden body works, um, papaya, castor thing of caster um mousse. I haven't even used that in my hair yet, but i decided to try moussin my um wig. I didn't really like the way that one worked. It didn't moisturize it as much as i wanted it to so. I'Ve just been using spray leave-ins and those seem to be working, bring my hair right back to life, um uh, what else? What else it does shed girl guy? Whoever is watching this. It'S sheds not like a lot, but you every time you brush it. It will shed, i don't experience shedding any other time, like only when i'm brushing it out. It doesn't just shed anywhere like it's. Never on my clothes, it's literally just when i brush it um, but when i do, i get quite a few hairs um what else? It'S not as soft as it used to um. I think the luster is about the same. It obviously looks shinier when it's like in the sleek look when i usually do it um what else? Oh, it has um cones like in the front of your head. So if you're worried about like like for me, i'm worried about my edges, so i never use that comb right there, because my hair is it stays because it has like the thing in the back the um velcro in the back. So i'm not worrying about it. Staying so the only problem i've been having is with this comb right here, because when you want to put it on your head, the comb automatically just wants to attach to your hair and it pulls, and it gives me a headache sometimes so. That'S like the the main issue with this, because i always like, whenever i put on, i always have to like kind of slide my hand in to take my hair out of the comb, so i can rest comfortably um. I also love that it's big, like curly, big hair, when you, if you want it to be because sometimes you don't cornrow or flat twist your hair underneath, which is me every time, because i can't really do either. So. The fact that i can have like my crazy looking braids under here and like you can't tell because the hair is big and curly is amazing um. I would definitely get another wig from this company um, but i've been more so looking into black owned one. So i'm gon na see if i can find a black owned, headband company name some down below, if you know any, because i definitely want some more headband wigs, like maybe a straighter one or like a different texture. I don't know, but i definitely want to try another one, maybe like a shorter one, y'all. Just let me know down below if you guys know any other ones, um what else? What else? What else um? Nothing? Really! That'S! That'S it! The i think it. The goods outweigh the beds. It'S super easy, not very expensive. It comes with a bunch of headbands um, it's good quality hair. It only sheds when you brush it. It does tangle, but like it's rubbing against my back all day, so i expect it to tangle and it does shed, but only when you brush it. I probably mentioned about eight times, but i just won't. Let you guys know like i don't experience just shedding um and it's just super cute and super easy, like i ab absolutely love it like love it.
