Wig Prep For White Girl Wig Install| How To Wash Your White Girl Wig| Wigs For White Women|

What'S up dolls welcome back to corey j's boutique in this video we are going to be doing part one to our new white girl, wig install um, if you guys are interested in learning how i rehabilitated this wig. That is not mine, but was provided by my model continue watching right now, so first things: first, we are going to take a dry towel and literally smooth the late, the glue off of the lace, so, as you guys can see, i'm literally just taking the dry Towel and wiping the glue off the lace the glue gets in the hair a little bit yes, but you guys can literally just wipe that right out. So the first thing um that you want to do when you are reusing a wig um, reviving and restoring it is you want to wipe off the glue with a dry towel before getting your wig wet? Okay. The second thing you want to do is completely drench. Your wig and you're going to want to then wash and condition your wig, i'm going to show you guys how i did that now. Um and this wig really really needed it to be detangled as well. So i did that as well, so just watch and learn. So while i have my shampoo on the wig i'm taking my - and this is my corgis boutique shampoo, by the way i'm taking my cory, j's boutique detangling brush and i am detangling the wig as well as washing it um and just adding some more shampoo, because The wig was um, pretty pretty dirty um pretty tangled, and it had blue on it. So in order to get all of this stuff out, this is what we are doing. Um, i'm just making sure i really just get through all of the wig and then i'm starting from the ends, and i'm now going to detangle it more um. The best detangling honestly, though, is going to be when you guys condition the wig. So this is just like some precursor detangling, but when i really get through the wig is going to be the next scene. When you guys see me um, actually conditioning the wig as well. So after you get done washing your wig completely make sure that you rinse the wig with hot water. The hot water is going to help in cleaning any dirt and debris out of your wig, so rinse with hot water. After you fully scrub and saturate your wig with shampoo and is going to be nice and clean and ready to be conditioned. So now i'm just going ahead and i'm pouring my corgis boutique conditioner on the wig and i'm just going to make sure that the conditioner gets everywhere, that i need it to be um. So, as you guys seen, i put a little on one side rubbed it in put a little on the other side, rub that in and then i'm just going to use my hands to literally just detangle the wig as best as i can then, of course, rinsing Off my brush because it had shampoo on it, then taking it again from the ends to the root. I do suggest when you're detangling a wig and you're, trying to revive it when you're detangling any hair, i would suggest always doing from the bottom to the top. That'S going to minimize breakage and shedding again. This is not my wig. This is a wig that our model um gave us also guys make sure y'all check out part two. This is our updated white girl, wig install with a bang, so she got a bang wig, and this is just kind of some updated tips and methods for y'all. I also answered a lot of questions that you guys have pertaining to the other white girl wig install videos as well. So please make sure you guys watch that and subscribe for more because she is now our youtube model. Okay boom. So once you're done, detangling um, your wig make sure you just put it inside of a plastic bag and leave it for some time. My suggestion is overnight, but, however long you have is, however long you have okay, so then you're going to take that wig out of the bag when it is done, marinating in its lovely conditioner, okay, you're going to rinse that conditioner out with cold water. This is going to seal in the moisture. This is going to keep it from retangling after being detangled um, and it's just really gon na make sure that the wig retains a lot of shine and lust as well. Okay - and you guys will see that when i finish styling the wig - and i show you how beautiful it is, you'll also see it when it's on her head and part two of this white girl wig install video. So once your wig is completely rinsed with cold water you're going to hang it, i prefer to hang it outside. I do live in florida, so it's always hot. I prefer to hang my wig outside and then i'm going to show you guys what it looked like. Once it's air dried, okay boom, so this is what the wig looks like after being wash conditioned and air dried super super nice. Look at how clean the lace is now, so this is perfect um. I'M super excited to get going with this look. So what we are going to do is um before her install. I would honestly prefer to get her wig already maintenance, so i'm going to put it on the wig head and i'm going to go ahead and straighten the wig with my courageous, boutique flat iron, and then i'm also going to um mold, the bang in the wig. Now i prefer to do this because when you have a customer and you're doing or a model whatever and you're doing their hair, um or you're, even yourself, um, that hot comb is hot. So as you're trying to you know flat iron and hot calm that could potentially burn your customer if you want to get it as flat as i want to get mine. So i like to do it off of my customer's head um, i like to do my customizations first and then do my installation. So that is what i'm going to be doing for the rest of this video again y'all check out part two to our updated white girl, wig install with a to look at the bang all right. So the last thing i'm going to do is use our core js boutique protein moisture, wig oil and i'm going to just literally lightly brush it all over the wig. I hope you guys seen how that wig oil greatly trans um transform this wig into something shiny and beautiful.
