Let's talk how to wear a wig. We will get into how to make it look natural by blending the part properly. Whether you want to wear a wig with long hair, without a wig cap or you just want to wear your wig comfortably - this video should help. I use a wig band to keep my wig in place and it actually helps me put the wig on properly too. Because it is less likely to shift, people with a lot of hair and bigger heads can wear wigs comfortably and confidently.

Hey guys, Thanks for tuning in. Today, we're going to actually go through the process of installing a wig., The video before this in case you missed, it, showed you preparation for installing the wig. This one we're going to actually go ahead and put the wig on. Again. I want to emphasize that this is the way I do it.. By no means is it the only way by no means is it the right way? It'S just the way I do., Let's jump into it.. Let'S start with the stocking cap., I'm wearing a stocking cap. Today., You do not have to it's totally optional.. If it's not your preference, you can definitely skip this step, but I do recommend it for people who have long hair a lot of hair, larger heads, because I find that it does help keep your natural hair flat. So that the unit lays flat as well., I also double up on my wig cap because, like I said, I do have a lot of hair and I do find that doubling up definitely gives me that flatness that I need. The next thing usually do is add. My wig band., This is how a wig band looks.. I will leave a link to the one that I'm using here below.. They are about $ 10 to $ 20, but they are lifesavers, especially if you have issues with your wigs shifting. You have a lot of hair any of those issues.. I honestly think that every wig lover should have one and you can use this with or without a stocking cap.. I am ready to put the unit on yay yay yay., Usually guys. This whole process takes me about five minutes. It'S only because I'm going through everything in detail, it's really not! That much. Now make sure the wig and is in place, and you want to make sure you put the hairline directly on the wig band but still covering it up., Usually once I put the wig on, I flip my ears out, so I know it's on good And then I usually gently, but still with a lot of force, pull it down like this. So I know it's on there on my head and ain't going, no where., I want to let you guys know I do not have a mirror. All I have is this view finder so bear with me.. Once the unit is on great., We need to go ahead and just style it comb it brush it. Whatever you're going to do., I'm going to use this big brush along with a fine tooth comb to get this baby flat.. Now a couple of things could happen at this point.. You could find that it's too shiny and that's when you would go in and add something to dull it down.. I use this spray.. This is the Oscar Blandi Volumizing Spray. I'll leave a link to it down below.. You can also use baby powder cornstarch. Any dry. Shampoo, you can find it should all work, just as good. Next is. You may find that you have fly-aways, or maybe you need to work on your band and that's when a hair spray will come into play.. This is Aussie Inst-Freeze.. This is what all the big time wig reviewers use, so I went ahead and got it and it works. You can get any kind of hairspray you like.. This is just going to keep your hair in place for holding. However, you decide to style it. At this point, you may find yourself needing to add some heat to the unit. Make sure your unit is heat-safe before you do this. Start low and then work your way up.. You can use your heating tools to style the unit at this point. Flat-Iron it.. I also use it to smooth down the top. If it's puffy. Now I don't have a barrel or a wand.. I have a curling wand, so I use my flat-iron because the sides have the heat plats here and it works just fine.. If you do have a wand, I think it would definitely work better than what I do. At this point. You'Re ready to work on your part. To me, this is where you can make the unit look really natural by actually blending it with your skin tones..
