Hi, thank you for stopping by! I have another Crochet Braids video. I am so excited with how this install turned out! I used one pack ONLY of the Jamaican Twist 3 X Pre-Stretched Braids. I used 1 1/2 bundle.

Colour number 2.

This is so easy, I am not sure why I did not try this sooner.

John 10, verse. 11.. I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd gives his life for the Sheep. Look how my hair has grown. I'M joking! This is a part of my fake it till you grow it series I and welcome, or welcome back to my channel. If you are new or already subscribed to the channel a lovely welcome, I'm Erica in this video. As you can see, this is not my real hair, but it looks so realistic. I'M sure you're probably wondering maybe you are maybe you're, not you're, probably wondering hey. Why is one side more defined than the other, so this is a little bit more defined, whereas this side looks more poofy and Frizzy, but before I get into it what this is? It is a crochet wig. I'Ve never done this particular method. Before I'm wondering why I haven't but honestly moving forward, you best believe I'm gon na be trying this and one of the things I like about this method. This is probably not the first video you will see. This idea is not new. One of the things I like about this is that it's so versatile. I can either keep it on. If I put it like this, this is me with no hair left out, because what I've done is I've crocheted onto that little rubber band bit right here. So that's why that looks like that. But, and then I just put a bit of my hair out - and it's so simple - it literally just Blends flawlessly with that. As you can see, and this I believe it's way safer as opposed to wearing a lace wig. This is the wig cap that I use. I didn't show the technique because it was just like uh, something that I was just trying out and I just went in and I just crocheted the hair in this is the hair that I used and I've actually used this hair before. I think I use this hair in my twist. I think I did it. I'Ve done it with uh I crocheted into my own hair. I'Ve literally gone ahead and used one full bundle. This is what I have left over of that second bundle. One of the thing that I saw, or that I know can be done, is that to keep the hair in place you know to have it go like nowhere, because, of course, I wouldn't just wear it like this, because it's not secure right. One of the things that can be done get a bobby pin or a hairpin, and just because I have cornrows underneath here right so just find the cornrows find some more where you want to put that get the the weaving cap and The Hairpin. You combine those two together and push it through your cornrow, and that gives it a bit of security right. That'S not something that I want to do, because that's just if you want to have it so that way, you can take it off, and you know oil. Your hair and take out your braids and redo your braids, because that's this is essentially what I'm going to can uh do right, moving forward, so what I'm gon na do, and if I want like a more secure, all I have to do is just get that Same crocheting, latch hook, find the weaving cap and the cornrow and just push the latch the crocheting hook underneath get that piece of hair, so the crocheted hair and just crochet it on to your braid crocheted onto it, and just like your crochet in your crocheting, it Onto the wig and then it kind of keeps it in place, so that's an option just go throughout the hair. If that's what you choose to do, this is just me I'll. Give you guys a second option or giving you some options there? Okay, so then you come closer to the front. So wherever that cornrow is just come closer you get, the latch hook, put it underneath the weaving cap and underneath the cornrow you get. The crochet in hair put it on the latch hook and then you pull it through and you knot it maybe two or three times just to make it a little bit more secure and that's that so we're doing as little damage to the hair as we possibly Can and that's what I want to do so. This is my go-to method now for my hair and I like it and even the sides here. What I do is, I just get a bit of the crochet in here and pull it more toward the front and let it blend in with a bit of the leave out that I have here so in case. I want to you know, and then what I could do also is the same technique that I was mentioning about using the latch hook and um, making the hair more secure by connecting the hair to the braid just go throughout and see where you can. You know improvise with put in for extra security right so now. The next thing that I wanted to share with you guys is how I kind of got it to look a little bit more, more defined on this side. I'M gon na show you is, I take the hair, which is a crochet in hair. I take it and I do a two strand twist so and then I get my hair dryer and I'm just gon na put it on low heat, okay and then for a couple seconds or oh or you could do this, leave it on overnight. It'S up to you, that is the look and, of course, if I wanted this Fuller, I could just go throughout and see if there's like any spaces where I didn't fill in properly angle, Elm and refill that and again this, I try to make it as close To my hair, as I possibly could, that's why I didn't do the full three packs, because my hair is not that big, but you know to each his own. So I kind of try to make this look as natural, as I could, by by using less hair, because that's my motto over here less is the more. This is better right. So this is it and that's what I did to achieve my crochet wig. To look. This way and moving forward God willing, that might be my method. My go-to Method from here on out, because, like I did say, is that there's no lace to worry about eating off my my edges. This is, you know, very versatile, like what I could do, even if I wanted is, I could go here and I could cut it and make it into a u-part wig leave a bit of my hair out intertwine it into the hair like crocheted into my cornrows. Like you know, my base could be braided back and then I could leave a portion out and then I could cut the weaving cap and then just crochet on the hair kind of like how I showed you guys how to secure it and then just leave my Hair out at the top, to give it a little bit more of that, like I said that um, you part wig bit go in right, but at this point that's not what I'm gon na try, but it's an option right. So I like this next thing that I might do is, I might use another hair that is not as coarse as my texture, but maybe a different curl pattern we'll see, because this right now is just kind of giving me like. You know natural hair and for those of you that love to wear your natural hair, but it's not the length that you want it to be, or it is not as curly as you want it to be, you know, is defined. This is another option, so guys. Let me know what you think of today's video, what your thoughts are on it, if you would rock this if you've been rocking it, let me know, because this is like again. This is my literally my first time attempting this because, like I said usually do I crochet on the crochet hair onto my cornrows, but this time I decided not to only when I was trying to secure down the weaving cap. I did that, and there are two options you can either use a crochet, braid say secure it or you can use the hair pins right, two options, but the crocheting hair allows for you know or what you could do when you're removing the wig off your head And if you did crochet onto the hair, you could just lift it, and then I'm sure you guys already know this. You could just you know, cut off the crochet in hair, wherever you put it, I can't believe I'm gon na be doing this hair out. Take it off and you're good to go right. This is my hair look at this right and then I just fixed it up how I want it put it right back on right. I just like that and we're good to go so there you have it guys. This is a part of my fake. It fully broken series. I hope you enjoyed today's video if you did don't forget to hit that subscribe button. If you are already subscribed, yay go ahead, hit that uh thumbs up comment like share, and God willing. You will stop by for my next video Until then, God willing, God bless Okay bye.
