U-Part Wig To Full Cap Wig

What'S up youtube, i am coming at you to show you um my. I guess i would call it custom wig um. What i did was took my you part wig, and i made it into a full uh, a full wig, a full cap, wig. So um all. I did was you have the you which normally sits in the middle of your head or on either side. I just put those two parts together and sewed: it sewed them together and bam. Got me a full cap wig and i actually like how it turned out. I think it came out real good and yeah i'll be rocking this. For a little while, and i decided to first off jumped on the bandwagon, did the upar wig um i'll get it for you in a minute? Okay. Did the u-part wig um and um decided um, you part week, one for me because for one i'm natural, so i had a hard time blending my natural hair with the weave and um. I was finding myself flat ironing my hair every single day, sometimes twice a day. If i was doing something in the morning and something in the evening, i was having to flat iron my hair twice a day just to keep my hair blended with the weave. So i mean i tried this one as a u-part wig wore it for about two weeks and then decided. I was just gon na call. It quits on you part, go back to my sewing as my protective style, because i didn't want to experience heat damage, and i know some of the ladies on here who were natural in doing the upar wig did notice a change in their curl pattern and things Like that, and i'm already naturally the curl pattern in the front part of my head hair and this top part is already looser and that's naturally than the rest of my hair. So i didn't want to risk. You know heat damage, flat iron, ironing it every day. It twice a day to blend it, so i just decided you know what you partway again for me looks good on everybody else. I mean it's a great idea, love it, but it's just hard to maintain a nice looking um weave when you're natural, with the you part wig, because you're having to flower your hair every single day. Now, if you're permed, then i can understand it's something that you know i mean hey. If i was perm, that's all i would be rocking is a you part, wig, but me being natural. It wasn't working, so i just decided to um, take the upar wig and try to make a full cap wig out of it and see if i can salvage the wig that way, and i think that it turned out pretty good um. I didn't do a tutorial on it because i didn't know what i was doing. I just started doing something, and i don't necessarily this turned out good enough for me to wear. But i would not do it like this next time and it's probably easier just to you know, sew the weave on a cap and just do a wig, um versus you know the u-part going through the trouble of doing the? U part and cutting it, and all that just to put it back together and sew it on your head. But if anybody is needing to, you know want to do something different with the upar wig that they already got. They have several upar wigs and they want to do a full sew in okay with this california, humidity and heat that we still have um. My natural hair was not having it. It was freezing up every time i stepped outside, so you par wig wasn't working for me, but this is um. This is where i sew the two parts down um. I don't know if you can see it, but to me it came out pretty good. I just put some curls in it and i'm gon na rock this. For a little while and then um my protective styling is just gon na have to be a good old-fashioned sew-in from here on out, but um yeah. I like the way it turned out. I would not do it like this again, like i said, and i did not uh film me doing it just because uh number one i misplaced my camera, i don't even know where it is. I think my daughter has it or something i don't know. I got ta, find it and then um for two. I just didn't know what i was gon na. Do i didn't know what i was doing so um i could. I could film i could film it just just to be filming it to put footage up, but um yeah just wanted to come to y'all and show y'all how i turned my upar wig into or the results of me.
