Hi guys so my hair is dark again bye as I sell, indecisive so go along with my new hair color. I decided to get a new set of extensions. As you know, I wear hair extensions all the time, but the stuff that I already had we're getting kind of damaged and they just didn't really blend in with my hair very well they're a lot thinner and my hair is on the thicker coarser side. I decided to get new ones and this time I wanted to step out of my comfort zone. I typically just buy the year next extensions from Sally's they're on the cheaper side. I have Sally's near me, so I could just go and get them in person and not have to take the risk of buying them online, but I decided this time I was just gon na do it. So I watched some reviews on YouTube and I decided to go with the Bellamy hair extensions. I know that sometimes Beauty vloggers when they get sent hair to review by a company. They sometimes get much better quality than what actual paying customers receive. So since I bought these extensions with my own money, I'm not gon na pay to do a review, even though I kind of wish I was because I'd be really cool. You weren't sent to me or anything like that. This is totally independent review. I just thought that I would share my opinions with you and show you the hair and kind of talk about them and I'll also show you how I clip them in get them to blend, since my hair is pretty short, so these are the hair extensions, the Ones that I got are 220 grams and they are 22 inches and I got the color 1b off black. So this is how long they are. I did cut a little bit of hair from the whole bundle just to layer them and kind of I'm in, but I didn't take off any of the length. So this is how long they are. As you can see, it's a lot of hair. It'S really thick. So in the pack you get to four clip weft like this one, two three clip weft to click wax and then you also get for one clip weft, which I don't have on me because they're at my boyfriend's house, but they're, basically just like an inch wide And the each have one clip on them, so you get the general idea and, as you can see, they're really thick and full if I hold them up next to my ear next extensions you can see these are pretty thin. You can like see through them, but these ones are. I mean you can still kind of see through them, but I think that they're much fuller and thicker and I'm not by any means knocking your necks, because I really do love these extensions and they are really great quality. But I would just recommend them more. So for beginners, what people with like, thinner and finer hair! But if you have to take her hair they're a little bit more difficult to blend and look natural. What I like to do is take my four clip left and make the reclip west and use those sort of as my main pieces, and then I save the two clip ones and the one clip ones more so for blending. So, since the back of our heads are more narrow towards bottom and then slowly get wider as you move up to the top, I use my three clip pieces since they're shorter, the bottom and then my four clip ones towards the top since they're wider. So I just section off the bottom of my hair and I leave a little layer of my natural hair down and I just take my three clip piece and I just clip it into my hair, simple enough. So then, I basically just repeat that same process over and over, I like to add another little bit of hair. Then I clip in my next piece and so on until I get to the top of my head and I've used up all of my three clip and four clip pieces, and I don't worry about making each section perfect or even or anything like that. I just use my fingers. I don't even look at the mirror or anything like that as long as it seems pretty straight then you're good. You want to make sure that when you clip in that last for Clint piece, you leave enough hair at the top of your head, that it can cover up those clips. So that way people aren't like what the hell is coming out of that girl's head. So now that I have my main clips in I'm just going to put in my two two clip pieces, I don't use the 1 clip ones. I don't really find them that necessary and they're. I don't know common to me, but if you have a really short hair and you need to have to help you kind of like layer and blend the hair more than I all need to use them, but I mean you don't have to then I'm just gon Na grab some of this hair again, I want to make sure that I'm getting enough on top that I'll be able to cover the clips right there and then that just adds some more hair in the front so that it blends my shorter pieces. As you can see, the extensions are really nice and full and thick, and I think they blend it to my real hair really well and they are really really long, even with a little bit of a wave to that and they're still really long. The hair is really really nice quality, it's really shiny and silky and soft, and it genuinely feels like it really is 100 % human hair. I'Ve had experience with other hair extensions in the past where they claim to be a hundred percent human hair and they seem really nice and shiny and silky when they first got out of the package. But then, after you wash them or wear them a little bit, they just get really disgusting and they kind of mat up and then they're just really gross. I love the fact that they are really thick from the tops to the ends. They claim that on their website and even people in other reviews, rave about how you know, they're really thick all the way to the ends. Most hair extensions usually tend to thin out when they get to the bottoms, especially super long ones like these, but I mean they're a little bit thinner than they originally were because I layered them, but they are still really thick at the bottom. Another really good thing about these extensions is that they don't tangle throughout the day if you do curl them and then you're out, and it's really windy. I mean they'll get like a couple tangles here and there, just as your real hair would, but they don't like the mat up or form like really big knots or anything like that. Honestly, all in all, I really am impressed with these extensions. I was really hesitant to buy them online at first, because I thought oh well, you know what, if I get that in there crap, what am I gon na do just seems way too good to be true, like really thick full long extensions that are really good Quality like how can that even be, but they really are everything that claim to be. I would a hundred percent recommend them, especially to someone with thicker hair. The only thing about them that I do have to mention that's sort of a downside is that they are pretty heavy. I mean it's 220 grams of hair and it's really long, so it is a little bit heavy. I mean the clips themselves are really comfortable. So when I first put them in, they feel totally fine like right now, I'm in no discomfort at all. However, by the end of the day, I do kind of have a little bit of a headache, but that might just be something that I'll get used to over time. It'S nothing like so excruciating that I'm like! Oh my god, this is awful. It'S just a little bit uncomfortable after a full day's wear for pricing and shipping. These extensions that I have are the 220 gram 22 inch. Extensions like I've mentioned a million times. However, they also do sell 160 gram - extensions that are 20 inches, 220 gram, ones that I have cost 210 dollars and the 160 gram ones are 160 dollars. Shipping in the United States cost me five dollars not entirely sure how much International shipping is, but I do know that within the states it's five dollars. The extensions took five days from the day that I ordered them till they arrived at my house. So that was like really really fast. They also provide you with tracking information, which is really nice, and it told me that they ship out from California - and I live all the way on the East Coast so five days to get from one side of the country to the other. So if you live closer to California, you might get them even quicker than that now. Another thing that I really like about these extensions and if you or someone that's also like kind of skeptical and hesitant about buying hair online, this is the packaging that they come with. The extensions come in this top compartment and if you open this up, your warranty becomes void. You cannot return them, even if you hate the hair or it doesn't match your color you're out of luck, basically, but the bottom right here they give you a tester piece. So they give you one of the one clip pieces in here. You can take it out, you can wash it, you can tie it, you can cut it, you can do whatever you want to it and if, for whatever reason you don't like it you're not happy with the hair, then you can send it back and you'll get A full refund, so what I did was when I first got them. I took the tester piece out. I immediately washed it I blow dried it. I curled it. I did everything that I would normally do with my real hair, just on a regular like styling basis, and I made sure that it felt like good quality to me. It matched my hair color and then I really liked it, and I did so that I opened the rest, and since these hair extensions are 100 % human remy, hair and they're really top quality, you can apply heat to them. You can flat iron them, curl them blow dry them whatever you can also color them. I wouldn't really recommend bleaching them. You can. I bleached my hair next ones in the past and they were fine. You know it didn't completely ruin the extensions but of course leach and chemicals are gon na be damaging, and, unlike your real hair, that will grow out and eventually it'll kind of get healthier again and you can cut off the dead ends. That doesn't happen with hair extensions, so try to be as gentle with them as possible. They also hold curls pretty well, so that's a plus, if you curl them once you probably won't, have to continuously do it every day afterwards. So I think that's everything that I wanted to mention about these extensions. Overall, I would give them an a a plus. I think that they are phenomenal. They completely exceeded my expectations. I have a completely different outlook on buying extensions online now and I honestly would recommend them yeah. I think that's everything. I hope that you guys found this video helpful. Let me know if you would like to see sort of hair extensions, hair care kind of video or something along the lines of that. So that's it for my review guys. I hope that you found this helpful. Please give it a thumbs up if you did. Thank you for watching I'll, see you in my next video bye,

Cher Dionne: Those extensions look freaking amazing! It sucks when hair is uncomfortably heavy :( but they look fantastic!

Austen Marie: Love the lippy and matching nails! This makes me want to get extensions again, but my hair is changing colors so frequently I don't think I will. Good to know for if/when I finally settle for a color ;)

Babyfaycex33: Thank you so much for this review!! I usually don't believe gurus when they do extensions reviews because they get them sent to them but i know since you bought them with your own money your review is truthful, so this video really helps :]

Sam Vay: Definitely! If you have a very blunt cut and it's all one length, it'll be a little bit more difficult to blend. The key is to just layer the extensions and make it look like your real hair is just the shortest layer. There are plenty of videos online that you can watch to learn how to cut and layer them yourself. Otherwise, you could always go to a salon and ask them to do it for you (that's probably the most guaranteed way to make it look natural).

Sam Vay: I actually went to the salon this time, and I'm not 100% sure what they used because she mixed a few shades. But it's pretty much identical to what I used to always dye it, which is "darkest brown" from the Ion line. Any type of "darkest brown" or "brown black" type of color will blend well with these extensions.

Sam Vay: Well, I've only had mine for about a month now. But honestly, based on the quality of them and compared to other extensions that I've had experience with in the past, I would say that they could last for years. (Side note: My first set of Euronext extensions lasted me for 4 years, and that's back when I had no concept of how to care for them properly. And quality-wise, I think Bellamis about the same, if not better than Euronext.) So yeah..

Sam Vay: I actually am getting used to it the more I wear them, so it's not too bad. But they really amazing :)

Sam Vay: And as for untangling them, just run them under water and put a lot of conditioner on them and let them sit with it on for 10 minutes or so. That should make them really smooth and loosen up the tangles. Try using a wide tooth comb and brush each piece out separately. Be really gentle, hold the hair in a ponytail shape and grab it from the top, right under the clips, and brush gently from the bottom up. Hope that helps! :)

Sam Vay: I did dye it darker since that video. But honestly, the off black extensions would have matched my hair in that video more. They're the tiniest bit lighter than my real hair now. (I just went with off black instead of pure black because my hair doesn't have that blueish tint that pure black tends to have). And in my opinion, "off black" is more of just a dark brown than black anyway, so you should be fine with that.

Sam Vay: I'm 5'2. I do feel like the 22'' are a little too long for me, particularly because I'm used to only wearing like 16 or 18'' but I got the 22'' for the thickness. The 20'' are a bit less full. So I say go based on fullness.. if your hair is thinner, then go with the 20'' but if it's fuller, go for the 22'' and you could always cut them if you feel they're too long.. I might do that too.

Sam Vay: Honestly, mine are still in perfect condition, and they haven't changed at all since I first got them, so doing an update on them would sort of be pointless. I am planning on making a video all about proper hair extensions hair care that should be up sometime next week. When you see that video, you can decide if it's that you just got a bad set or that you might not have been taking proper care of them.

Erin Maguire: Did you dye your hair darker than it was in your red to brown video? I'm about to go red to brown as well as buy bellami hair extensions and I'd like to know if the off black bellamis matched your hair after using the ion color in medium brown and dark brown. Because I'm shooting for more of the dark brown extensions. Thanks!

J J: Lol, me too! ! Even with my red if I see someone with another shade of red im like I want that color! !! Red looks good on our skin color . :)

Samantha Reilly: I've been wanting these..and now you pushed me over the edge....it's time..

Sam Vay: It's called Fuchsia Fever from the Maybelline Color Sensational line.

Sam Vay: Do it!! They're so worth it, in my opinion.

Sam Vay: Glad it was helpful! :)

Mary n Mario: how long do bellami extensions last?

Sam Vay: I'm sorry you feel that way.. I've been wearing mine almost every day for the past month or so, and I honestly love them. Maybe you got a bad set ?

Sam Vay: It's nice to know I'm not the only one! Hahaha. It kills me every time I see someone with red hair! But I think I'm over it .... for now anyway :X

LUnLEE1: U have the best demo for clipping. I can actually see the back of your head as u clip them in.

Sam Vay: Really? What were you doing with them as far as hair care? Was it just a really bad set? I love mine, but I don't want to talk them up if other people are having bad experiences with them. :/

Sam Vay: Thank you :) I know, mine has been the same way lately. I'm trying to just leave it like this for now though.

christy hapshy: do you recommend Bellami more than SKR extensions?

Jaida Thomas: Did you get wavy or straight extensions?

Tatá Mozinho Pascoal: what color did you color your hair ? 5N or lighter ?

J J: Im same way with hair colors but watever color I do , I always miss my red:)

Darlene mu: Can you make an update about them?(:

Autumn Mathis: I agree, these extensions are absolutely terrible. they lasted me a month. they shed like crazy and the ends have thinned out to literally strings. it's terrible.

Jen Rivera: Loveeeee you're videos

Sam Vay: Do you mean the cut of my hair or how I cut the extensions?

Erin Maguire: Oh okay. What color did you dye your hair in this video?

sharon carranza: What about the cut ? My sis got hers in they had a lot of short hair like n layers n the ends were alot lighter

Yollie I: I'm trying to decide the 20 or 22 set, how tall are you?

Darlene mu: Mine lasted 1 week and then I washed them..and they're tangling like crazy, how can I fix them? Does anyone know?

Athina Fourie: love the colour on your lips....name please???

Mary n Mario: do u still recommend the hair an how long it last?

Sarrah Sharitz: hey what lip color are you wearing?

Sasha Hanna: just got my bellami bellissimas in mochachino and they dont blend with my hair will sell for a discounted price. tried on once, never washed. im sooo sad :(

C. Nunez: If you touch the back of your head , can you feel them?

AiSHA G: Is this color like a dark black but shows sort of brown? I just order them and I think I got the wrong color

adi29love: I like you with red hair better :/ hah

Indi’s Beauty Insiders: how old are u :0

Sam Vay: Straight.

Sam Vay: 21 :)

KMLEBRUN: They last 3 days. They are horrible DO NOT BUY
