Bellami Hair Extensions Honest Review/ Comparison To Luxy

Hey loves welcome back to another video on my channel or if you are new here, my name is sharon and i would appreciate if you could subscribe and hit that like button. So today's video is something completely different for me. It'S all about hair um. I have researched hair extensions for probably about three years now well technically longer because about three years ago i purchased these cheap amazon extensions. They were horrible um and then i purchased luxy hair extensions and i didn't quite like them um. I was really really disappointed in those luxy ones. I had only gotten the 18 inch which my hair um. My hair is about 18 to 20 inches right now. This is just washed and air dried, so yeah, my hair is about 18 to 20 inches. I i haven't actually took like a measuring tape and measured it, but i've been really wanting really long extensions for quite a while now um. So i did all my research. I watched a ton of youtube videos like everything i could find on bellamy even luxie. Again. I tried um bombay um zara and i think there was another one. I researched and bellamy seemed to have the best reviews um overall, so i was like okay. When i'm ready i'm going to purchase from them, then i was trying to debate. Should i get the 22, should i get the 24 and for costing purposes i was like okay, let's just get the 22, because a girl's got to save um, so yeah. I knew on black friday sale 2020 that i wanted to purchase some hair extensions and they actually ended up having their sale, starting on the monday instead of the friday, which would be black friday. So monday morning i placed my order about 10 30 a.m and i literally got it the next day at um. I'D say about 12 o'clock. Around lunchtime i got them the next day i was like whoa like i didn't pay for express shipping. That'S free shipping, so their shipping is on point um. So this video, i'm going to kind of just show you guys the items that i purchased and hopefully that kind of helps you figure out whether you want it to after i've done so much research. I was hoping i could film a video that would be helpful for somebody else um. So what i'll start with is the only issue i had with my order. I ordered the rose gold set like this goes inside the bag right here and you clip your extensions and they hang in this zip up bag. So i ordered the rose gold one and they sent me silver. Now, that's not a huge deal. Um! I was even debating if i should message them and say something, but my friends said: do it so i messaged them and they were like we'll ship. You out, one immediately, keep this one at no charge and we'll ship you a new one at no charge. So i thought that was really amazing customer service and they told me i should receive it within the next day or two. So i thought that was incredible. Customer service um this actually seems very good quality, so i did purchase these from lexi three years ago. When i placed my extension order - and i can tell you this part alone feels better quality than the luxie one um, so one thing i really like about this: it has this velvety sleeve, the luxy ones, don't so this feels so nice, i don't know you know If this makes it different for how well it keeps your hair extensions, but i like that it has that i feel, like my extensions - are safer, especially when you're spending so much money. So yeah. The bag is just a clear plastic which is really nice, and then i purchased this little um braided headband. I love to do braids excuse my hair. Today i didn't get much sleep so, and i really wanted to pre-film this um. So there's a little seal on here that says: if you open it, you cannot return it after this um. But to my my happiness, it does match my hair perfectly. So, well almost perfectly, i'm sure once i actually like have it all in, you won't even notice a difference and i'll kind of like pull this apart a bit now this is not remy hair. This is um what they call it um. Okay. This is shade number two and it's the dark brown. Oh synthetic. It'S synthetic hair, it's not remy like human hair, but it still feels really nice, so it doesn't have um. It doesn't have any tightening. I do actually have um braided headbands from um madison braids, and i should have probably grabbed one. So you could see the comparison the madison braid ones are made out of remy hair. They are much bigger than this one and they have like a tightening um. Like kind of a bra strap, but i wanted this one because it is a bit smaller, so i thought like when i don't want to have such a big braid in my hair. This one would be a good substitute, so i wanted to give this a try and in canadian dollars. This was ten dollars um, and this right here was 20 for the set, so not too bad. They weren't on sale for black friday, but that's okay. I'M still. I still think that's pretty reasonably priced now for the star of the show, so these are the silk seam, hair extensions and, once again, this is in the shade dark brown, which i did take out the tester strip and it does match my hair perfectly fine. I am all good with that and once again these are the 22 inch, so i a first love the packaging. I think this is a very sleek compact. It just looks very nice. The the gold writing is textured. So that's a really nice feature as well. Yeah. I'M just very impressed with the packaging okay. So when you actually open it, if i can get it open there, we go okay, so it comes in a little thing like this. So, as i mentioned, i already took out the little tester strip and i was so surprised, so it does have a bit of a curl but look first off. Okay. These are the silk seam, so you can see it is not um braided like the weft, the normal uh hair extensions. This is kind of like kind of like a rubbery texture. It is extremely extremely thin. Do you see that it's so so thin um? The clips feel really good quality, like they're, very strong. That was one other thing with my luxie hair extensions. Two of my clips came broken now. They did put extra clips in the packaging, but i mean who wants to get their brand new extensions and have to rip off one of the clips and re-sew a new clip on not me. I was really annoyed by that, but can we just take a moment how thick this hair is like? You could almost not see me through it? I am just so so surprised with how how thick these are um. So if we were to go close see, you can tell it's almost the same color as my hair and i have different shades of brown in my hair. I haven't actually dyed my hair in oh, probably about three years now, so i have multiple shades of brown. So i actually think these work really perfectly and you can see they aren't much longer than my hair. So i'm sure once i actually clip them in they'll uh look a little better but yeah, i'm just i love they feel so nice, like my hair kind of feels dry right now, but they they actually feel like such high quality hair. I i'm so so amazed. I absolutely love it. I i'm just so impressed, so i am going to open the rest with you here on camera. So that's your tester strip if it does not match your hair color or you don't like the length as long as you don't open this section, you can put that back in the little pouch and mail it back to them and they will exchange it or reimburse You for your money, um, but i am going to open this because i'm really excited and i think it's going to work perfectly for me. I was a little worried about the thickness because i have, i do have pretty thick hair um. My hair is kind of clipped back right now, but i mean i have a decent amount of hair, so i was worried. This is 240 grams of hair. So i'm hoping it's thick enough. I think it will be, but um okay, so i'm using my little tiny clippers are not clippers scissors. Okay, oh that feels heavy yeah, that's a lot of hair, so it has a little hair net on it. Oh my nails. I have to be careful, so i don't rip this apart, um, okay, how do i get this off all right? Okay, oh these feel so nice, i'm so happy. Like i said when i got my lexi's, i was really disappointed. I'M not saying they're like bad um they're, just not what i thought they would be um and they i found that they thinned out at the bottom quite a bit, so i was really disappointed with that as well. Um now i haven't purchased lexi's again in about three years, so maybe their quality is a bit different. Maybe it was this specific um package i got, i don't know, but i was really nervous. So that's why i did so much research on new extensions to make sure i was gon na hopefully get what i wanted and i'm so excited. Look how thick this is. Do you see this look at you can't see me look how thick that is. Oh, my god, i'm so happy right now i feel speechless and that's rare for me all my friends know i talk too much, so i am absolutely so happy right now. Um, okay, let's add don't throw out this piece. I'M sure you guys already know that um this, the tester piece is a part of your bundle, but look how thick this is. So it is the same here as it is here just a little bit thinner, just the smidgen thinner. I am so amazed. This feels luxurious luxurious. Oh my god! I can't speak, i'm so happy, i'm so happy! Okay, so all of them are that ultra thin, i'm just trying to look yeah. These are so well done, yeah, i'm so happy! Okay, so i think that's all i'm gon na mention about them for right now. I am going to come back to this video in about a week after wearing these. For about a week. That way, i can give you a full review on whether they shed um. I'M not sure if i'll wash them. I read some reviews, people say wash them before you use them. Some people say don't wash them at all, only wash them like once a month. If you can so i may not wash them we'll see um, they don't have a weird smell if that matters um they smell perfectly normal, but yeah. This is really heavy. It'S a lot of hair, i'm so happy. Once again, this is the dark brown um. So the next clip you will see of me will, i will have them in and i'll have about a week, uh a week's time with these extensions to tell you how they're holding up um i'm really curious about how well they hold a curl, because i've heard Reviews say that some hair extensions don't hold a curl um and that's kind of important to me. So i will come back and uh yeah keep watching hi everyone, okay, this is a week after getting my hair extensions. I am currently wearing them. I actually don't have one of the three wefts in i ran out of headspace. I did clip them on to each other, so i wouldn't have so many clips going up and, as you can see like look how thick my hair is. I have a lot of hair um. I absolutely love it um. Surprisingly, when i am wearing it, i'm also a nail tech. So when my clients have been seeing me, i swear they like double. Look at me like uh, something is weird um and so far nobody has actually noticed that i was wearing hair extensions, so when i brought it up to them, they were like you are. I'M like. I wasn't sure because it looks real and it blends in with my natural hair, so well um. So everybody couldn't tell like for sure for sure that i was wearing hair extensions, so i love them um. I have not had any shedding and actually i've been kind of rough with brushing them, because my hair gets very knotted to them quickly, so i've been kind of rough with brushing them, but no fallout, i'm so shocked. Now i do use a wet brush. I don't know if that makes a difference if you're not using a wet brush, if it would like tear out the hair quicker um. I i have not gotten any headaches with these silk seam, whereas the um lexi ones. I was getting headaches, i don't know if it was the clips, what it is um if they were heavier, but personally i have not received any headaches wearing these um. I will insert a couple photos right now of how i've styled these hair extensions. I haven't tested too many hairstyles um, i'm too sleepy in the morning to be honest, but i've tried a couple um, so yeah. I think these are one of the best investments that i have made. I hope this video was helpful for you guys, um. Oh another thing: the uh clip the hanger, the clip they sent it to me. The next day i got that rose gold, one the very next day, so incredible customer service and super fast shipping, um, so yeah. I hope that answers all of your questions. If you were hesitant on buying hair extensions from bellamy, i personally love them. I had a wonderful experience and i just think they are fabulous and they hold a curl. I forgot to say that they hold a curl. I curled my hair at 6 00 a.m. In the morning, do you see this and it is currently 5 30 p.m, so they hold a curl all right.
