How To: Clip In/Blend Hair Extensions

Everything you want to know is right here my dear :D Be sure to upgrade to HD for a better quality!

*Hey my loves. This video is something I should have had up months ago, but better late than never. Anyways, I hope that this really helps because since receiving my new extensions I have been struggling to put them in and blend them due to their length and thickness. This way of blending I feel is 100% the best way to do it. Like I said this works with ANY hair, and if you have questions feel free to ask!

Hey hunny bunnies today, I'm going to be showing you guys how to clip in hair extensions. I actually have been getting a lot of questions about how I put mine in, and one of my really good friends on YouTube actually got a set of hair extensions, and she was asking me to make a video. So I was like you know what I really probably should do one not to mention that i forgot that i have a couple of these type of videos already on my channel, and somebody commented on one and was like this is so sloppy. So i thought it's probably about time that I rerecord a how to clip in your extensions type of video, for you guys. I hope that this isn't too repetitive. I actually just learned a new technique for clipping in my hair extensions and if you guys watched my July and August favorites videos, you will see that my hair, as it is right now, look so different compared to that video, because it was after that video that I learned how to do this process and I literally am so happy because I feel, like my hair extensions are almost unrecognizable, that it's even clip ins, which is crazy, and I got my haircut and my layers are so insane that i was just like. There'S no way i'm going to be able to wear these Bellamy's ever because they're so long and I was about to the point of cutting them and then I did some research online and found a new way of clipping in the extension. So I don't want to keep on blabbing for you guys, but I'm wearing the 22 inch Bellamy's and the color 1b. All the information will be linked in the bottom bar. I have a five dollar coupon code. If you guys do choose to order from them. I'Ll link, all my other Bellamy related videos for you guys, but I just wanted you to see how to clip in any set of extensions. This works for any brand. It doesn't have to just be Bellamy, so I love wearing clip in extensions, and I feel like this way of applying them is just flawless. So, let's get on to the video guys, I recently got my hair cut into AV shape and this helps with blending your extensions a lot. So we're going to part our hair, starting at the bottom of our ear, lobe, which this is usually where I part it for every set of extensions. I have yours going to take and clip the top part of your hair up, and then we are going to take our smallest wefts of hair, which are the three clips and we're going to attach them to each other. So it turns into 13 clip weft of hair. So I'm just going to open those clips and pop them in on my hair right now, and you just want to always make sure that you do the smallest clipped wefts at the bottom of your head and then get bigger as you go up, because your hair Is bigger around as you go up and it's smaller at the nape of your neck, so the next place I'm sectioning off, is at the top of my ear. Sometimes I do section it off a little bit lower than that, but for today I didn't want to clip in that much hair. So I'm starting at the top of my ear - and I also just got my hair super layered and if your hair is really really layered, that I would recommend doing everything up a little bit higher on your head. So it blends better. So we're just clipping this top portion up and then we're going to take our next set and clip that in and it is the smallest for clip left of hair. So now I'm going to take this piece of hair on the side and just fold it over and then use my clips on that forklift to fasten that in on my hair, the less hair you have on the sides of your head, the better because it'll make It look like it's actually your real hair, so you want to do it on both sides of your head. Just pull that hair over and then use your clips on your extensions to hold the pieces of hair back. So, as you can see, I don't have any hair on the sides of my head right now, so it looks really natural. So you want to let your hair down and now we're going to go to the temples of our heads and section off our hair. We still have these big flaps on the sides, we're going to take our widest for clip, left and pull that hair in and use the clips to just secure that down. So now we just need to cover Abby's little pieces of hair, we're just going to part these little sections at the top. It doesn't matter how messy this part is, but I just try to make it look like it's natural and I'm taking our to clip left and just clipping that as close to my forehead as possible. Don'T worry because it is not going to show, especially if you have bangs it. People are always worried about that showing and it's not going to you want to do the same thing on both sides. So after you get that clip n, that is the last of cooking in these extensions, this technique works for any extension, so feel free to leave questions in the bottom bar. If you need to yes,

Desiree Delgado: This is by far the best video on applying clip in extensions that I have seen. I have been wearing extensions for about 4 years and I have never this technique (pulling the hair from the sides). I will def be trying it out!!!

Seanta Marie: Aww thank you :D I actually wear them 2-3 times a week. I am not a very glamorous person all the time lol but when I am feeling extra girly I like to wear them.

Goldilocks: Thanks so much for this video! I've never seen this technique. For me if I pull stands of hair on the side of my head straight across ( horizontally) along with the hair I have going down (vertically) it really anchors in the clips and it completely eliminates the need to tease my hair. My extensions stay in tight and taught all day and are comfortable to wear. Again I can't thank you enough. My hair is growing back in from chemo drugs and I'd hate to ruin the new regrowth by teasing it daily. Again Thank you <3

oksydney13: thanks for making thisss ! <3 it seriously helped so much, ive had extensions for a while now and never thought of putting the face framing pieces of hair up or whatever their called ahha (:

mommytipsbycole: finally getting to watching this! thank u for doing it mama! i love the technique with pulling hair from the side over! i will try that tomorrow! my problem is my hair is so thin and some times i feel like it slides out over the course of a few hours...any solutions for that problem? i dont have enuf hair for it to clip to so i'm hoping that technique will help that problem for me! xoxo saving this to my favorites!

MsEricanicolee: I love your hair, with or without your extensions! Not sure if you mentioned this or not but how often do you wear clip ins?

Seanta Marie: Yay I am glad it helped...The only way to keep them from slipping is to tease your hair before placing in the clips....I have to do that with these extensions if I have them curled because they are so heavy.

chaveli martin: Your hair is so cute!!! Loved this video

meluful22: great tips!!

Seanta Marie: lol yea I called them bird flaps hahahhaha, but framing pieces sounds way better! I am glad I could help ya out hun!

Seanta Marie: thank you so much!

Seanta Marie: Thank you so much love.

Amy A.: Very cute:)

Brooke j: Have you tried Hair Secrets Extensions? If so which one do you think is better; Bellami or hair secrets. I am trying to decided which company to go with.

Seanta Marie: Hey...Sorry I haven't tried Hair Secrets yet. Do they have a website? Maybe I could do a review :D

Seanta Marie: Thanks :) you too!!!
