Everyone today I'm going to be filming a review for the Bellamy, hair extensions. I'M sure you've heard a lot about these extensions because they have been going all around YouTube and there's a lot of different girls saying a whole bunch of different reviews for the Bellamy. Hair extensions - I was not sent the extensions I had this video was not sponsored at all. Bellamy did not contact me at all, and so I have been wanting extensions for a long time and since I've heard so much about Bellamy, I decided to go ahead and purchase them and I've been wearing the extensions for about a month already um. I don't have them in my hair right now. My hair short. This is how like long my natural hair is. I know it's really hard on YouTube to sometimes you kind of question um like a review, especially when it's sponsored - and you know it's hard to know if that person is really telling the truth or not about the extensions. I'M here to tell you guys the honest truth about the extensions and what I think of them. So, let's get into the extension review. The extensions that I ordered are bellissima 220 grams 22 inch, which I believe it's the longest extensions that they have when you get them. They come in this package and then they have a little tester down here at the bottom and um. I got them in the color, vibrant red and so yeah. They come with the tester right here at the bottom, and it's basically like one weft, and it's just for you to test it out, see if you like the color, see if you like how the way it feels and if you don't like it, you can just Return it and get another one um, and if you do like it, you can go ahead and open up the rest of your extensions once you open this part, you can't return it anymore, so I got them in the color, vibrant red manna here. They are right here, as you can see it's a lot of hair. Now I did dye my extension so that they could match my hair um when I first got them in vibrant red. They were a very, very light red, um kind of like a strawberry color and they didn't match my hair at all. So I had to dye them. I do have a picture of what they look like when they first came in. Also, if you don't follow me on Instagram, go follow me on Instagram. It'S think beauty within. I do post a lot of pictures so that you can see what my extensions look like once they're put in and everything like that and um. I did post like a picture when I first got them in the mail and stuff like that. So go. Follow me. There for more information, I dyed them. This color right here from L'Oreal Paris, the Feria line - and this is in red, violet, intense, deep or red velvet intense, deep Auburn um, and this is the number what it looks like and everything I will have all of this information listed down below, so that it's Easy reference for you guys now dying. Mom was a really really long process. It took me forever, just because there's so much hair. Just keep that in mind. If you are thinking about dyeing them, it is a long process, so just be patient with it. I was a little worried at first to dye them because I didn't want to damage them, but I'm telling you after I dyed them. They were still in really good condition and they're super soft. They were super super super soft when I first got them in the mail and they're still extremely soft, you, okay, so this is the amount of extensions that you get is a lot of hair, which I love um. The extensions did cost two hundred and nine dollars. I believe, but there are some discount codes that you can find everywhere like on the internet and it gives you five dollars off, so it pretty much covers shipping. I know it's not a lot, but hey somethings, better than nothing thickness of the hair. Oh, my goodness, you get so like this is one. This is a three clip weft and the thickness of the hair is awesome because it's really thick from the top all the way to the bottom. So I really really love that about these extensions. So the clips are nice and sturdy, and it's really easy to put in. I will have a demo part at the end of this video, so you can see how I put them in and everything once you clip them into your hair. It stays there and I don't feel like they're gon na fall off. I feel like they're, really nice and sturdy once they're clipped in so that's another Pro. I don't put a lot of hairspray in my extensions when I curl them when I clip them in and curl them just because I don't want to put a lot of product because I don't want to have to wash them so often, but they do hold the Curl really nice, so I don't have to worry about my curls falling and even if they do, I feel like it just looks more natural that way it is a lot of hair and it is super long, so you do have to get used to it. I remember at first I was like oh my gosh. This is a lot of hair and I kind of freaked out a little bit just because it is kind of heavy, but you do have to get used to it and it's I mean I got used to it really quickly if the extensions blend so well, it Just looks so natural, like people think that this is my actual hair like people. Don'T even know that I have extensions now, I'm gon na go into the cons, which are the only things that I wish that this company can work on. First of all, the color um there is like a nice color range, there's a lot of different color options for you to choose from, except for redheads. They only have one color for redheads, which is vibrant red and, like I said it didn't match me and I'm sure it didn't doesn't match a lot of people. So if you're, a redhead, most likely you're gon na have to diet, though that's the only thing I wish the company can work on is providing different shades of red so that it's easier for us redheads to match our hair color. Another con that I don't like, and I know it's, the only thing is that they they tangle a lot um and I feel like it's because there's so much hair and it's kind of like all over the place and when you're out and about and you're doing, Different things they tangle really easily, and that's the only thing you know and when I take them off, I have to spend time brushing them do not fall asleep in them. Do not take a nap in them because they will get tangled I've taken two naps and they've already gotten really really tangled um one time I went out dancing with my extensions in and they got really tangled. So that's the only thing. Another thing, too, is they shed a lot when I brush them through? I brush them really really gently I'll even put in detangler, so that I don't I'm not like tugging at it, but they still shed a lot which scares me because any hair that you lose from these it's not coming back because it has nowhere to grow from. So that's the only thing I don't know if it's just my extensions, I don't know if other people have any problems with the extensions extensions shedding or to taint or getting tangled or anything like that um. But mine do so. Those are the only things and I will say that for 209 dollars I wish that they wouldn't shed, and I wish that they wouldn't get tangled um, so I do think that they are overpriced, but compared to other extensions, I think they're really really really good quality. I have tried some other extensions in the past. I got them at like Sally's Beauty Supply and they were really thin. They thinned out at the bottom like a lot, so it just it didn't look very like you could kind of tell that. I had extensions just because it was so thin at the bottom um, but these, like the quality, is awesome. It would be nice if Bellamy lowered the price a little bit just because of the fact that they shed and they they tingle um. But I don't know if that's just me being a cheapo or I don't know, but um yeah. If you are thinking about getting extensions, I will tell you: go ahead, go for it they're a lot of fun like it's so much fun being able to go from short hair one day to long hair and yeah. I'M not. I think that's it. If you haven't have any questions just leave them down below and I will make sure to answer them for you: let's go ahead and get into the demo part, so you guys can see how I do it. So I start off by sectioning off my hair and the sections. Don'T have to be that big at all and then before I clip in the extensions I make sure to brush them out and I'm starting off with a two clip weft and you want to start off with the smaller clip weft at the bottom of your hair And then increase the number of clips as you go up and then there I'm getting the three clip clip weft and I'm clipping it right above that one and then I'm sectioning off my hair again and then I'm going to clip in a four clip weft. Now you get to four clip weft and one is longer than the other. This one is the shorter for clip weft. So here I am just clipping that one in and yeah you kind of just have to play with it to figure out where you want your weft to be at it takes time to figure all of this out, but once you figure it out, it's really like You get the hang of it quickly and it's fast so then here I am clipping in the longer for clipped what for clip weft, and you want this one to be at like the center of your hair, because they're the center of your head, because that's where You have the most like diameter and then basically I just look to see where else I need extensions clipped in. I do clip in a to clip left on one side and then I will go in on the other side and clip in a three clip weft to add more fully fullness to the sides, because it would look kind of weird if I didn't have any there And then I pretty much just get the single clip west and I clip them in like wherever I feel I need some more hair or some more fullness, since my hair is pretty short, I do have to like play around with it to figure out where I Need it and um yeah so just take your time with it, and then this is pretty much what it looks like when you're all done. I do curl my extension so that it could blend in better with my natural hair and then that's what it looks like from the back and yeah. It'S really really natural really pretty, and I get so many compliments on it and I'm really happy that I purchased it. So that is it. I hope you guys enjoy. Thank you so much for watching, and I will talk to you guys in my next video bye.

GoldAesthetic: Loved this review girly! Refreshing to see there are still honest people on Youtube!

JoAnnKelly24: I have the 24 inch 240 gram ones and I TOTALLY agree with you about the tangling and the shedding.  I just got done coloring mine to better match my hair and they did shed like crazy during that process.  Plus the tangling is insane.  I am going to put some layers into mine which I am hoping will help with the tangling.  Loved your video:-)

Luisa Valentina: Please read this : I purchased in october 2013 my bellamis and was in love with them, really they were amazing! I didn't know why I read some comments who said that these extensions aren't good quality, they shed, etc.I was curling them everyday because my hair are naturally curly. Once I got tired about straightening them when I wanted to wear them straight so I decided to buy another set of bellamis (to have one that I keep curly and one that I keep straight ). I know they are expensive but it was my birthday present to myself lol! So I purchased exactly the same one once again (22'' 220g) . When I got them in my mail, the ''tester piece'' was a two clip weft and last time it was a one clip weft. Maybe this was already a sign of the following bad experience or a kind of ''unprofessionality''...? I didn't mind and opened the rest of my extensions and it's not a joke there were really soft, thick, shiny but only the HALF amount of hair than the first set I got... I was so surprised... I payed exactly the same price and I got only the half of the hair... I think the beautygurus on youtube don't lie when they say these extensions are amazing because they got good ones... like me the first time... I really don't understand why this happend... does anyone have an idea?

Samantha Ganoe: You absolutely have no idea how much this has helped me! I was hoping to at least come across one video that is HONEST and not "bought". I understand the redhead frustration too because i am currently red also :) But i will be definitely buying my set soon thanks to you! :D I just have a couple questions, How many times did you have to dye them? I've been hearing it takes like 2 times to actually stay on the extensions. And do you also have any tips on HOW TO dye them? And do you have any tips for first time users? these will be my first ever set of extensions! Thank you bunches xoxo

HAZE ALEXANDRA: The reason you and others I have seen are having trouble with tangling is probably because you dyed them. Bellami's (and other brands) come with a pretty thick coating of silicone over the shaft of the hair for protection and longevity and to prevent tangling. This coating gradually wears off with every wash which is why you don't want to wash them very often until necessary. Once the coating is off your pretty much left with raw heavily processed hair prone to tangle. There are actually silicone sprays for hair extensions to replenish the coating and to keep them soft, manageable and so you aren't throwing all your money in the trash when it becomes a big rats nest of dead hair. Hope this sheds some light on the subject.

Melissa Araque: Loved the review! Def agree with the color selection tip. I have the same set, the bellisima 22" 220 grams. But anyways, I wanted to comment on the shedding, I've experimented with a bunch of extensions and the sad truth is, they'll always shed. Some more than others but they're always gonna shed. It's hair being held on to a track by some thread, that's not too secure. I experienced shedding and tangling with my set and it got a bit worse once I bleached them to do ombré, but they're still wearable and no one can tell that it's extensions. With coloring them 3 times and bleaching them twice, they held up nice and are STILL soft as ever.

Laura Anne: I have the same set except brunette my hair is SHORT and I just put a review and tutorial up on these extensions. I'm brutally honest and have had them for a while, highly recommend you watch!

xRachelxLovesxYoux: Thanks for this amazing review! I love how honest you were!!

maddie rey: I had bought from bellami hair extensions 3 times already and i think why yours shedded so quick is because you dyed them, i had the same problem when i dyed it, and the other hair extensions i got from them i didn't dye were fine and didn't shed until after 7 months later (:

AlyssaSeraphinaxo: I like your review. It's really hard to trust a lot of the gurus. They swear it's not sponsored but I just don't trust their word. Thanks for your review. I've made up my mind :)

synnimin smith: About the tangling, at sallys there is a brush called the tangle teezer and that will make it so much easier to brush threw them so much faster and way way better on the extensions and it will also help with the sheding.... if you look up reviews on the tangle teezer you will see(: hope it helps

merida marin: I was afraid of purchasing the bellamihair extensions because of all these bad review but some how I ended up buying them and I love them,of course they shed but what do you expect it's dead hair,I love them there super thick and blend very well with your hair. I personally recommend them :)

LifeWithLala: Good job! I've always wanted extensions but since my hair is so long it's almost impossible to find something longer than my own hair. Plus I'm super super lazy to put them in lol

J: Great vid, thanks! I bought the Vibrant Red 160g 22" set at first, and dyed those with Ion Color Brilliance because they were kind of a weird pale pinkish red-violet!! Only a touch of auburn in them. THEN, I bought the Lilly hair in 260g/20"...and they were straight-up auburn!! I'm hoping to order another set, but I"m worried that they won't be this gorgeous auburn!! It's the perfect natural redhead color. I love my dyed ones, but I've cut and colored those and yeah, they are not as great of quality. Still, everyone is right - you have to spray keratin in them if you dye, and not wash them often, and really take good care of them. I brush mine every night, wear them every day, and have literally no issues with tangling. I *do* notice a quality difference between the 160g and the Lilly hair - the price of the Lilly is nearly double, though, so I'm not that surprised!

mikeandbob1: im debating between these and luxury for princess since most people are saying that bellami sheds a lot and tangles. have you tried luxury for princess? i just hattteeee the feeling of tangled hair lol

Vinuss Virgin Hair: Love your channel so much! Good Job!! looking forward to your next video

Missy Tina: Just saying, I love this review, but also they're hair. If your hair was that long they would get tangled VERY easily, so for it to tangle makes since. And with shedding I don't know if you do this, but they recommend to tie the clips up and then just wash the ends, because there is glue in the weft and the shampoo and conditioner will loosen them.

Kendall Alfred: I just posted my first review and unboxing of my Bellami hair too! I would love it so much if you'd come see it ❤️ thank you so much for your review & demo!

CYNTHIA C: hi i just seen your great video and i just  ordered my hair extentions yest in vibrant red just wondering how you dyed it and how you dry it im assuming its gonna be a lighter red since im a intense red from loreal  purchased at sallys thanks ;)

marlyn rojas: Do they feel heavy?? Or do you get headaches after a while??

Nora Ruben: The only reason why so many people complain about them is because the shedding and tangling, of course it's gonna tangle, because it's reallyyyyy thick from top to bottom. And it's dead hair, of course it's gonna shed, it's DEAD hair. It's only held on with string. Yes it will shed. And a lot of girls wash there extensions weekly! That's a bigggg no no. Everybody complains because they take care of it like it's real hair, you have to take care of your extensions more carefully. I dunno. I think people complain to much, when really it's there fault.

LaughingIsMyPassion4: yeah mine shed like crazy and i can never wear myy hair straight because i have to keep brushing them so tangled :(

M: I got the new boo-gatti set. they're alright.

Leny Ramirez: love the video

Danielle Kling: Where Can I Get Them?

Kristen S.: BEAUTIFUL xoxooxo

KiiNO LAROSHii: When I dyed mine the ends became dry and not like yours look ):

Yasmin8517: What is the difference between the 160g and the ones you have?

Star War: I don't understand why I keep reading comments on dead hair being the reason for shedding on extensions. Let's think about this logically. I'm no expert cause I've never owned extensions before but it seems to me that they are probably not glued properly. Yes hair sheds from my head cause it's not glued to my head. My question is if I'm going to spend $300 in extensions, why is there any kind of shedding? There shouldn't be any right?

Erica Garcia: How tall are you haha so random but I just wanted to see how they would fit me. I'm 5'5
