Hey guys and welcome to my channel, my name is Caitlin and I am a licensed hairdresser, so my beautiful client Jade is coming in today and I am doing a platinum card and I think we're doing three rows of Bellamy sewing extensions. So if you are interested to see how this turns out, then stay tuned, so this is the before my client Jade has been coming to me for about three years now and she likes to be a pretty bright, almost Platinum, icy, color, and it's been about four Months since her last appointment, so her toner is completely faded off and you can kind of see the exposed, yellow undertones coming through foreign. Here I am slicing her foils. I am taking about a quarter inch sections and then sub sectioning, that in half and putting that in the foil for her highlight because we want a really bright, Blended, seamless, look but still having Maximum Impact, and you might notice that I'm not applying the bleach. All the way to the top of the foil close to her root, because I like to leave a little bit of space there in case the lightener swells. Whenever we use heat. So she doesn't get any bleeders or spotting with the lightener on her natural root. And I'm also using my Stylo Tech, cheetah print foils, they're called love, my leopard and I love them so much because they're embossed and they never slide out of the hair like some like the rain holds foils do sometimes so. I love these pushing noise foreign of her hairline. I did four sliced back to back foils without leaving any dimension in between them for a bright, big, bold money piece and then behind that I am incorporating the dimension again and you might notice that I leave a lot of the pre-lightened ends out. Just because I don't want to add any damage to her hair, but some of the areas are still a little bit golden, so I did have to pull whatever product was left through them a little bit, but here is the after of the foils. It'S so aesthetically pleasing and we definitely packed a lot of them in there because she has super thick hair okay. So these are her extensions and they are the Bellamy number three slash: 60 Walnut Brown ash blonde rooted straight extensions and 22 inches. So I know that they are technically called ash blonde, but I felt like there is still a lot of warmth in there for the look that we are wanting to achieve um, so I am now toning them with Redken Shades, EQ 9na, 9p and 10vv. So this is really where you can kind of watch the magic happen. I cut this clip because it was about 12 minutes long because it took me about three minutes to apply the toner to the extensions, because you want to apply them super thoroughly, because extensions do kind of take toners differently than normal. Hair does - and you definitely want to work fast with this, but it sat on for about eight to ten minutes and we got this perfect bright kind of icy Platinum tone out of them. You might also notice that I got some of the toner on the brown root of the extend engines, which is absolutely okay, because since we are working with a level nine and a half toner, it's not going to affect the level six root. That is on the extensions, so this is what the extensions look like dried. They turned out absolutely perfect. This is my extension tray setup for the sew-ins. I have my looping tool for the beads little small clips for holding up the weft some thread: the sewing needle small scissors, velcro extension grippers, the beading clamping tool and some extra Beats pushes. So this is her raw lift y'all. She lifted absolutely beautifully she processed for about 25 minutes with no heat in the last five minutes with heat, which is perfectly okay, because I started with a really low volume developer and the underneath of her hair and gradually worked my way up to a 30 on The top section of her hair now I am just root tapping her with Redken Shades eq6n6 and a um equal parts, and literally just tapping to diffuse any lines from the foil so that everything will grow out really naturally and organically, and be low maintenance for her Foreign, so now I'm just going in and power drying the hair until it's about 80 percent dry with my professional supersonic, Dyson, hair dryer, and then I'm going to go in with my biggest round brush just to make sure that I can get the hair as straight And as smooth as possible for the extension application foreign now, I'm sectioning off the hair into beaded sections using the Coco Marie hair extension method. I pre-measured and cut the weft to that section of her hair off camera, but I am now clipping it up to the sectioned off area and sewing it into her hair foreign. I'M pretty much just repeating the exact same steps from section one wishes now for the last row: we're just doing a mini, so we did two full horseshoe rows on the top and then now we're just doing a mini Row in the bottom. So we cut and Blended the extensions off camera - and I beached waved them - and here is her - reveal her reaction was so Priceless. She said that she hasn't felt this pretty in a really long time and you guys this is what makes our job worth it. This is what makes me wake up every single morning and love what I do with a passion and being able to make women feel more confident and beautiful is just what makes me thrive. Okay, we are obsessed. This took seven hours, but totally worth it. If you guys like this video, please let me know in the comments section down below and I'll keep them coming.
