Hey guys Welcome back to my channel today, I'm going to show you step by step how to do a French braid for beginners.. So I hope you like this video and let's get into it. The first step is to take a small section of hair on the top of your head from your temples to the back of your head., Then split the hair into 3, equal sections.. I am starting out with 2 strands in my right hand and 1 strand in my left. Hand. Then take the right strand and cross it over and into the middle., Then take the left strand and cross it over and into the middle. Again cross. The right strand over and into the middle and hold all the strands in your left hand. That way, it’s easier to add new hair to the braid, because now you have a free hand to work. With. Then pick up a horizontal section of hair. On the same side and add it to the middle strand., Then cross the left strand over and into the middle and hold all the strands in your right. Hand. Again pick up a horizontal section of hair on the same side and add it to the middle strand.. Then cross the right strand over and into the middle and bring all the strands to your left. Hand. Then pick up some hair from the same side and add it to the middle strand. Again cross the left strand over and into the middle and bring all the strands to your right. Hand. Then take a new section of hair on the same side and add it to the middle strand., Now cross the right strand over and into the middle and pick up some new hair on the same side and add it to the middle strand. Again cross. The left strand over and into the middle and pick up some new hair on the same side and add it to the middle strand., Then cross the right strand over and into the middle and add some hair from the same side to the middle strand.. Then cross. The left strand over and into the middle and pick up some hair on the same side and add it to the middle strand., Then cross the right strand over and into the middle and add some hair from the same side to the middle strand. Again cross. The left strand over and into the middle and add some hair to the middle strand. When there is no more hair to add in then braid the hair, like a normal 3 strand, braid and tie of the braid at the end.. Now just adjust the hair and pull in the sides of the hair to loosen the braid up a bit and when you have done that when you are done.. So that is how to do a French braid for beginners. And I really hope you liked this video and found it helpful if you did then give the video a thumbs up and remember to subscribe and click the notification bell, so you never miss a new hairstyle.. Thank you for watching, and I will see you guys in my next video D.

Leah Veach: Tried to french braid for the first time with this video. The instructions are very clear ..... and the braid came out as a horrible mess! It's just one of those things you have to practice until it looks good, but now I actually understand HOW the braiding process works, so it's just a matter of doing it again and again until it's right. My daughter is 17 with wavy-curly hair that falls almost to her waist, and is very fine and soft. Pulling the additional sections from the sides is kind of a chore, because her hair wants to coil and wrap around itself and generally be hard to separate. I think it might be easier to handle when it's still damp from her shower, but not soaking wet.
