Samurai9: "If you're short... Wear some heals."
C MB: Me, a 4’11” person, casually scrolling through shorts and suddenly getting attacked in the first 2 seconds:
Charlene: I love that you can give the more elaborate tips, but also quick, practical tips. While there are some things that are universal about curly hair, not all techniques work for everyone, whether it's because they have a certain texture, drier or more moisturized hair, or limited time to make their hair look good. Having a range so people can find what works with their particular hair and lifestyle is so incredibly helpful. And people shouldn't be afraid to modify these tips as needed. There's no one way to do this, as long as we find the technique that works best for us.
Emily Snyder: Can we get more quick hair routines/tips? It takes me about 3 hours to do mine (from shampoo to styled and dried) and make it look decent I would love to cut that time in half
Kat Boyton: I’m a lazy curly girl and always do this! I find I use less product this way too.
ahri h.: I’ve been suffering with a bad case of depression hair for maybe a year now (dry, split ends, brittle…) a lot of the time I think there’s no hope for my hair, but I watch your videos and it feels possible to get it back to a healthy state again. it’s just hard when I don’t have the funds or resources to do so.
BollieBae: You look SO good with black hair omg!! ❤❤❤
Gabi.: I used to do this. It sure is practical in a way, and the result was good enough, but took forever to dry (because the hair was so wet) and it's definitely less defined, so I stopped doing it.
let's be kind :): I always get less defined curls when I use leave in conditioner and gel as compared to just a cream custard. Any tips ?
Kacey_Alexandra: Rake & squeeze? I love it ❤ I was wondering why my hair was stringy..
AshleyErica: Thank you for these tips! I find that my curls have more volume and definition when I style in the shower when my hair is still wet.
Sandra Han: I always so this! By the time I'm out of the shower and I'm dressed my hair is good to diffuse or air dry.
Amanda Guido: Happy quick tip texture Tuesday ❤
stargwynn1: I find glazing gel on works far better for the quick effortless natural curls. Also give more shine and body. Raking it in gives me stringy flat hair
Natasha Tenney: Oh my goodness, this is genius! Thanks Mell!
Berchy Zgb: I started doing something like this, I just use more water, my hair is less frizzy that way, but I'm done in so much less time than when I use the denman brush, and I get more volume, win win
kim hill: Thanks so much, Mel! I love the videos and I've learned a lot. I think I've heard you say something along these lines, but do you have any words of wisdom regarding hair that doesn't curl as readily as yours? I can see as you work that the curls just bounce back. My curls are a mix between curls and s waves, and if I talk too them too sternly, they lose their pep. They're just easily discouraged. Any words of wisdom?
Wandy Gonzalez: Can you do a video on products you and Amanda have in the shower. I see alot of goodies!! Thanks for these amazing tips!
Nemie Miller: Love you Mel...thanks for the tips!
Kendall: Hey Mell! Can not washing your hair enough cause an oil buildup that leads to hair loss?
chloeannmarie: I’d love to see the result from this quick styling!
A Google User: Thanks Mel! Will try. Want to see the end result!
Shaina Clingempeel: Is it okay to brush it through your hair (denman, wet brush) after raking products through?
Rosandi Zorrilla: I’ve been following for quite some time . Thank you for all of your helpful tips. They’ve helped and I just don’t post….
Hamiltons_Mom_PG: Very good advice. Thanks Mel
Saloshna Chetty: Can we see the result please? Loove your tips and advice BTW Mel
Genesis Martinez: As a mother here this is great!!!
GwennyFTB: omg that squeezing the ends tip might have just changed my life lol
kyliee c.: I am always short in time thanks mell!❤
Veronica Salas: Thank you!
Sycamore Valley: You should see me doing it at the gym. In the shower.
Michelle Stewart: I wish my hair looked like that when I gently squeeze out the water... its instant frizz
Sherry Kumar: You are adorable Mel! I wish you were my stylist
Jessicah Bryan: Can you show us what your hair looks like after?
Layla Moore: Great idea, but how do you get the product off of your once, clean back?
luckyDancer100: Question for those who know- isn’t brushing soaking wet hair bad for it? Don’t you need to partially dry it first?
Tori Gillispie: When I use the den man brush I get less definition and more frizz
Penny Coleman: So do you never put product on the very top of the head?
Kendall: Hey Mell! Do you need a winter routine in an area that is humid all year long?
Katie: That’s so smart!! ❤ Love the heels comment too
Christiana Underwood: The furthest I ever style away from the shower is the sink. Hahaha. Water water everywhere.
JC7 Blessed: Mell I don't mean to cut you, short ...., but what u trying to say is sometimes we might need a curly routine, shortcut ...., ....., But remember our curls still need love, so try to not sell them, short ...., ...., ...., And may I add...., this upload was short and sweet
Ashlei Shipp: What do you do to keep hair dry or use for your hair when you are showering but not washing?
Mslin Sabeel: She is drop dead gorgg man
Rose: Love!!!
Marie T: Do u have naturally curly hair u are amazing I love your videos I have straight hair and I dream of having curly hair like yours
No: You're just so likable...
DreamBrush: me who wet styles on a regular basis
러브: Itd be nice if you showed the result
Sundazed: What’s the brand of that gel?
maya tbee: I don't understand how people say curls are too much effort ! edit : I have tight curls and I feel like saying curly hair is so much effort was a way for me to hate it and avoid keeping it natural.
ChristinePKN: Mell. Should I then just let it air dry? Or I can diffuse it?
Rose-anna Sage: ♥️
KG Ty: I see the black ❤
Septembre Hernandez: BRB i need to watch the oil detangling video
A B: Sure uses a lot of product, better stock up
Kathy Sahori: ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Gilda MBu: Loved
Emma Hoffman: Is this not the normal way?
Rose-anna Sage: Ha ha ha … „if you are short, wear some heels“….
Eulalia: When I do this I get alot of hair that falls out
Arissa: Results though?
Rhonda Dean: T y.
Candace Mackintosh: The joke wasn't funny. Short people are being told whole their life to wear heels as if they aren't good the way they are and get a trauma out of it and you just made a joke out of it like it's supposed to be funny....
