Synthetic Wig Client Consultation Featuring Styles From Noriko And Jon Renau

Hi, it's misty and Kim from Amy sweet boutique and we are doing another client consultation. Today we have Sheree I've known Sheree for a while. Sheree he's never won a wig. She obviously knew that this is what we did. So her husband travels some and it's Texas. It'S humid, and so our hair doesn't work right sometimes, so she just wanted to explore the option she may not be ready to buy today, but we're just gon na try some things on her they're a little bit different, see what she thinks so um you've talked To me before about you, get frustrated with your hair. You'Ve got a cowlick in the bags and actually one in front and back oh you're, lucky you! Yes are you wanting to maybe explore some different colors or well? Maybe I don't want to go to too much different but similar to my hair, but anything with maybe highlights things like that. Alright, so maybe something that you could, if you were traveling, if you went someplace and you did whatever you did during the day - hiked fish whatever and then maybe at night for dinner, it's something you can put on there. Oh and it's so obvious that maybe it looked like you did your hair, but not like a wig. Yes right, okay! Well, I think what I want to start with, and misty is maybe Morgan, so let's try spring honey. So this is a liner that this is the hygienic liner that we use. We know what we use them. Okay - and this is not something you wear when you wear a wig - it's just something that you wear here when you try things on okay, they're, not very comfortable. I just tell people most of us won't put pantyhose on our body anymore, much less our head, so comfortable, alright, so um the way this works, we'll put it on. You tell me what you do and don't like about it. Okay, I didn't make these, so you can't hurt my feelings, but if you're real specific, then that helps guide us to know what we need to do for the next time. Okay, so this is Morgan, binary, Co, the colors spring honey, it's kind of got a light golden brown with a highlight, and it's got some nice layers. It comes down about two here. It'S got some wispy pieces in the back and some of the things that we can do when we modify this. If you want to swoop that bang over you can do that or sometimes we'll trim out some little wispy baby I'll look better with bangs. So I always okay cover up my forehead all right. Well, I'm gon na spin you around and look at it with a hand, mirror you can see the back. You can see that. Oh I like that style. Okay, I do like that cut. What do you think about the highlights? It'S a little bit blonder for me. Oh, I think I would like it in a darker color, but I do like the shape of it. Okay, great. What so you think you might want to UM. Let'S try Cory, I mean. That'S just different different and maybe you'd like in pecan Brown. Okay, because I think that's to be closer to her color with just a little bit of a highlight night sounds good yeah. They give it a lot of you to give these nude names as creamy toffee. Oh, I smoke good cappuccino, so this is 40 by Noriko in color pecan Brown. This is a classic Noriko style. They'Ve had this style for years it never goes out of style. It works for a whole bunch of people. It'S got a really nice light. Wispy, bang mm-hmm: it's got a super cute stack in the back, so you definitely want to look at that. This does what most people's hair won't do in the way of the stack. So what do you think about this? I like they, I don't like twisty bangs and I like the color, it's a little bit darker closer to my yeah color. I think even like here's, your hair, I mean it just it just really blends. So, let's take a look at the back of that and you can see it's got that. Yes, she didn't really nice wispy. Yes, I like that. That'S I wish my hair hair stylist could cut my hair. Okay, let's go, let's go all the way around and then let's go on this other side too cherish man and boys. That'S just cute! Okay, did you get the Morgan in a different color rooted? Okay? So this is the same as the first one that we tried. The Morgan, miner eco, this color is called Mochaccino R and the R stands for our route, so what they do when they're coloring it they put a darker hybrid route into it, and it gives the overall color a little bit darker based, oh well, I the other Thing that a route does is the darkness here picks up the darkness from your eyes. So look how your beautiful brown eyes just stand out in that color. The other thing they do when they make the route is, if you'll get the hand mirror to. I want to show you this and they do the back darker. So typically, when hair stylists are foiling mm-hmm, these pieces are too short to foil, so a lot of times they don't foil them, and so they do the foils up here. So this gives it a more natural look and to have that oh yeah yeah. I like this shorter, look, yeah, that's beautiful, and could you trim them? We could we can trim the bangs your you said you were used to me, maybe having a more full bang. I don't wan na get this in your eyes: yeah, okay! So what we, if you'll, shut your eyes, real, quick? What we'd probably do is pull that down, trim it and then maybe reshape it. So it has a nice thin. So it's not just hanging down straight right and but yeah we can do that yes and that's an easy fit yeah cuz. I just just have a belt to my eyebrows, but I like that I, like the color too, would you ever consider going down a little bit darker well sure. I would like to see that okay might cover up my gray. This Steve has brought us a Kate and iced mocha, and this is gon na be a different style will be darker, like I said you won't wear these. They slip around boom. They come off and so we'll just okay, so again, Kate by Noriko, a nice mocha. Actually, this is iced mocha our. So it's a darker base. It'S got the dark root in it. He'S got a highlight a lot of times in this one, because it's got such long pieces. We will trim out some wispy bangs there just to give you some face. Training, yes, this style actually has some different options, so you can actually take this and go back behind your ear. When you go back behind your ear, it does a couple things. It helps reduce out some of the bulk so that you, if you think it's a little bit too voluminous, you can reduce that out. You can also kind of tease that up and then you have kind of this asymmetrical. Oh yes, so I've seen it on other gals and well. That'S why you trying wig on what do you think about the color it's a little different, but it different good or different bad? Well, it it's just something different than what I'm used to, but I do you know I like the darker, rather than the the lighter, I think on me with your beautiful brown eyes and your skin tone. You really can wear a lot of different colors. You have more options and what most people do and we're kind of finding that out, because I've haven't found anything that looks bad on you yet oh yeah, so you'll you'll have you'll, have options and you wouldn't have to put it behind your ear. I just but he's quite different used to that, but I think so yeah there that might be a possibility. I mean that's different enough that I would like to yeah. It gets addicting mm-hmm I mean for misty and I they're like shoes and purses. We just change our hair with our outfits. You can get a little bit of dictating like that. Alright, okay, misty pot sky and this color is called chocolate Frost. They do not make this wig in this color. We have it custom made for me me, so you can only buy it here. It'S a beautiful blend. It'S got a really dark base, but then it's got really. Nice cool and warm tone highlights mm-hmm same thing. With this one, we can trim out a bang if you're used to having this. This is a little bit longer than your hair. Again, it's got that darker back so check that out, and then it's just I mean it's just. This is one of not only our top sellers, but also no Rico's, because this style works for a very wide variety. Anybody from a young girl to someone in their 80s can wear this style because it's its current, it comes in a wide variety of color. We actually stock this wig in every color they make, which we have a great inventory, but we don't stock everything in every color all the time. But just what we do. That'S very useful. There'S a lot of you got there. They have the messy look yeah. It'S like, I look younger with that messy look that is cute and it covers up mine. Well, it just gives you some new calyx but they're all they're, all more uniform. So yes, it's funny how you know you have something about your hair. You don't like, but then, when it's in a wig, it's like oh yeah, that's cute! Yes, I usually keep my hair shorter, but it's fun too yeah a little bit longer. Well, speaking of that, let's try something longer. Are you gon na do game for a little fun? Oh, yes, all right have you ever in high school, which was many many many years ago. Oh it wasn't that long ago, yeah! Look! What do you want him? Let'S try it out and if we're gon na go along, let's go blonde okay about that. Well, that's the thing about! This is why you want to try wigs on I mean when you go to the hairstylist, and you say I want to get more highlights. You really have no idea how it's gon na turn out so with a wig. You know before you buy it, and if you don't like it, then you don't buy it. So this is called el by John Renault. This has a lace front cap with a monofilament top mm-hmm, so it's got a piece of material here that blends with your skin tone. That makes it look like your hairline. Okay, that's the part. It looks like your scalp and that's called monofilament okay, and that means that every hair in the top region of this wig is individually hand-knotted. So it's a labor-intensive process all right. Well, let's, let's go a little bit, I mean the hair is pretty, but it just does not go with my face, like I said, you're used to bang the bangs okay. Well, let's try and but it is pretty. Let'S try a amelia by john renault in and we'll see how that works. Okay, so that's gon na be a little bit shorter. It'S gon na have a bang it'll, be closer to your color. It'S gon na be a little bit lighter, okay and sometimes in a wig, it's actually easier to go a little bit lighter than your actual hair color. Sometimes, if you go to your hair color or a little bit darker, it can look a little heavy mm-hmm. So typically, lace fronts made to be without a bang. This is a million by John Renault and they have made this with a bang, but they also put the lace front in it and I'm gon na turn. This hair hurts if it gets in your eyes, I'm gon na try to get that out of your eyes. So this is probably an easier step for you to go longer. Yeah last one right with the bangs that one is actually a little bit shorter in the back than the front. It'S just a very slight angle and there might be what do you think? I see a half an inch to an inch difference, not much yeah. I like this one, a little bit more because of the bangs, but I'm just you probably wear this. What do you remember her seeing me in lawn care yeah in a while? It'S been a long while yeah, but you also when you had your hair. This link you they had. Did you a lot of work? Oh yes, blowing and ironing my hair straight straight hair. Yes, all right, let's go, let's try bread and oh, this is actually a new style like a boar. Is it Missy? Is it new or is it new nose? It'S called stylish player. This color is SS rusty, Auburn, which is GL 29-31 SS. So this is a short style. This one has the lace front and it's got a mono part. So you can't change the part in this because it's pretty well set okay um, but you can do you know the Kate you could kind of make asymmetrical. You can do the same thing with this one. It'S just a much shorter version, so it may be something you're more comfortable with and and you can kind of do that the shape of it. But I don't think I'm ready. I mean in you know for you with your skin tone. You can carry it off, but I know that's way outside of your comfort zone: okay, Missy's just pull ideas, so we're gon na try voltage. Okay, this is by Raquel Welch. Now they make voltage and machine-made cap as well as voltage elite, which is going to have a name, and so you have options for that. If you definitely want the lace front mm-hmm, I think with this many layers, it doesn't require that, but it's a personal decision. This is believe this is SSA 25 yeah. This is SSA 25, which is SS golden wheat SS stands for shadow shade, which means it's darker. At the roots, okay, so this is kind of a shorter version min sky, it's a little bit less hair than the sky. It'S just kind of shorter all over, but it still has some real, pretty fun messy stuff going on in the back, so be sure and check that out. Do you like that color? Well, it's kind of growing on me. I did have my hair frosted years ago too, so that kind of brings back memories. Yeah, you always know people say frosted. It'S like. I grew up in the edge of rusting, but the young girls. It'S now boiling. Oh yes, so and highlight where you say frosting. I want cake with it yeah all right. What else do we have? Well, let's uh direction. Is she on so far I've been kind of back and forth? Let'S go back to the sky um. I think you. I think you like that one. The best and she likes the quarry - you know what oh yeah we have. We have quarry custom made in this color for us also. So let's try that on sure his color is just absolutely beautiful, mmm-hmm, so again styling options with this. You can go back behind your ears that again it's gon na help. If you think it's too bulky here, it'll help produce out some of the bone. If you want more volume, you've got the link there. You can tease it. You can get more volume. If you think you need more balance mm-hmm, you know this looks pretty closer to my head, so okay, mm-hmm well, and the other thing is. This - is blending with your own hair? Oh yeah, so you can go back behind your ears with your own hair and that way we're using your hairline, and so it looks even more natural, oh yeah. These bangs are sticking out a little bit, but what we would do is trim those and again get that reform so that you had a nice kind of curved bang kind of wispy right, but that's beautiful and she's wearing that black shirt and just everything. I think this is probably my favorite. Okay with you know, as long as misty could trim it up and get it reached, it is yeah all right. This is good Cory. We tried Cory earlier in pecan Brown, which is pretty close to your hair color. This is the chocolate frost. Actually, chocolate frost are so it's got it. It'S got a jar no root to it, and this already has that light. Wispy bang already cut into it, so you can pull some of it away. If you want, if you wanted it a little bit heavier, you can pull that down again same thing here. If you want to put it back behind your ears, you can do that mm-hmm. It'S got a cute stack back there yeah, oh yeah, close to my neck line in the bangs. Okay, look, no calyx, no yeah it'll, be hey for you drop yeah, just bring it forward or behind your ears exactly done, or you can do one side back and one side down, yeah. Whatever you want asymmetrical mm-hmm. I usually have one side behind my ear. It'S just it's comfortable for mac you're either we always tell people in here you're, either you're, either a Tucker or you're. Not so some people hate their ears are never going to tuck their hair behind it. Other people they just are not comfortable unless one sides tucked back by move near yourself yeah I like the option of changing it just a little bit. It just has a little bit different look to what you can bring it forward behind your ear, all right, but I like the color too frosted mm-hmm all right, so it looks like we've got two really good options and we'll figure out what she's gon na do.
