How To: Curl Your Hair With A Flatiron Or Straightener

Without without beauties and cooties, its generals of generals dot-com back with a new tutorial, and today I am teaching you how I straighten my hair with the flat iron. It can be done in under 20 minutes. It'S really simple and it saves you a lot of time. As opposed to a curling iron, I mean it's probably the same amount of time, but it's just a modern day thing to do so. I usually start with unwrapping my hair. I actually shot this tutorial right after I shot the tutorial for how to straight my hair. A few weeks ago, so this hair is about three to five days after being streamed. I feel that my curls last better after my hair is picked up a little bit of oil and it's still fluffy and still got good body and volume to it. But I just think it holds better a few days it, and so I just go in and I initially started with the side parts I just go in and I section off some hair and I'm using my pulse mineral smooth flat iron, my favorite, and so I Starting at the root - and I literally just slide the hair, through literally like you - would use a curling iron, but I'm just using a flat iron and I'm going to show you a few different ways to do it. This way, I've kept spiraling the flat iron with the hair to keep the curls. I'M gon na also show you how you can just flip it over once. I let it glide itself through, which is probably gon na, be the easiest way in the beginning. But it's really really simple and if you need to watch this video again and again, please do going at the roof, look it backwards and it slides right. Any pop step, so here I'm showing you guys the flip over method. Again literally you feed the hair and at the root you slide it out, and the curl will snap back. If you use your finger just to wind it up a bit the other week, I showed you what I use for my engines, which is Hicks edge control, but I didn't show you how I did my edges, so I don't usually put edge control on my hair Straight but I do add a little bit whenever I curl my hair just to smooth that out and usually not this curl, I just pin curl every night, so it doesn't transfer the oil throughout my hair.
