Today, i'm going to show you how to do a zero guard fade up to a hard part.. Obviously we're going to take these sides in the back super short all the way up to this hard part.. We are not going to take anything off the top because we want to keep this long.. We want this to grow. And then on the side that it gets parted over we're, obviously going to blend that really well.. So take your clippers, i'm using the basic boy box. Clippers.. Both sets of clippers are really great. Keep the lever all the way up. So the blades are close. Together. Start here in the back. You can use your hand left hand to just push the neck forward.. Obviously it's super short. Obviously, there's not a lot of hair there.! Don'T let that freak you out. Come up and just barely go around the ears. You can turn your clippers, both directions to make sure. There'S no hair right. There. I've done this first section, i'm going to move my lever down a little bit just to take those blades a little bit farther apart from each other and go up just a tiny bit more. The zero guard. You just have to make sure that you're going over and over and over so there are absolutely no lines in this. Haircut. Go up a little bit more this side. We don't want to go up as high, because this is the side that it will get blended. Into. See how i'm kind of rocking my clippers away Now, there's a that little little line so just move that lever even a little bit closer. That line there won't be any line right. There. Alright, put a number one guard on put that lever all the way. Up., We'll go all the way around the head. Again. Wet this top down a little bit, so you can make sure that you know exactly where your part is. Make that part and then hold it with your left hand, so that you won't accidentally cut any long. Hair. So put that down and put your clipper guard right on that part, go all the way back. And then just keep blending kind of at a diagonal all the way. Down.. Okay, i'm going to take my guard off again and move this lever and just go over any of these lines.. You can turn your clippers horizontal and just make sure there are no lines in that haircut.. We are not going to take any length off the top, but we want to make sure to blend this side. In. So get the top wet and then take vertical parts on this side. And blend that in so you can see where the top is and where the back is. You just blend those two together and come all the way around the head. Doing that exact same thing., So I obviously want to blend the top into the back a little bit better on the side so.. But my fingers are too big to get right down to how short this is. So i'm going to use my clippers and my comb. Make sure the lever is up like that then put your comb in and as soon as that long hair comes out of your comb then slide it across. Put that comb in make sure that you're just going Straight up - and you don't want to round with the head., You can get the hair, pull it out and then put your clippers flush against the comb to fade that. And just go all the way around the head. Go all the way up. As soon as you run out of hair, there's nothing left to cut Haircut is almost done. We just have to do the outline. Turn your trimmers around go around the ear. Follow that hairline. As close as you can. A lot of times. They have tricky hair right here, you don't need to get and if the head or if the ears are fuzzy, go ahead and just shave, those up then bend that ear. Forward. Follow the hairline super close and then just do a diagonal line. All the way, down. We're going to put a hard part in this haircut so turn your trimmers on hold that hair down with your left hand.. I usually like to start a little bit behind the ear with that part and go right on that part. Just touch those trimmers down go forward. There you go, I think it's better to style the hair when it's dry. I think the product holds better we're using matte clay. It'S a little bit stiffer of a product so put it in your fingers. Rub it around kind of soften it up and then just work it through the hair. Haircut is finished. It looks so good and it is so short on the sides., Which will make for a good grow out right. Exactly perfect. Good luck with this haircut. Make sure that you are patient. Do not do this haircut if you are in a rush, because it takes a little bit longer to get that fade just perfect., I'm so excited for you guys to try this haircut, I'm so excited for you to use good products with this haircut. It makes a world of difference. If there are any parts that you want to fade better make sure you use your texturing shears., But let me know how it works. Good luck with it!
