Perfect Flexi Rod Set On Kinky Straight Hair | Protective Styling | Omgherhair

I will be working with this kinky straight hair and this hair is from oMG her hair, calm and now this is a full lace. Wig, it's a 360 lace wig, and I believe this is 18 inches. Now I'll be doing a flexi rod set and I'll be using the cream of nature filming's now I'm parting, the hair in smaller sections. Now this is not too small of a section. It'S more like, I don't even know like a medium size. You can just tell by the type of flexi rod that I'm using, so I'm not using the Jumbo ones. These are the medium sized flexi rods and i got them at my local beauty supply store. Now i already washed the hair and it's still damp - I told ride it a little bit just to take out the extra extra moisture out of the hair, because I didn't want it to be too wet, but still damp enough where the hair will be set nicely. So I'm not using any other product, nothing extra, because I don't want the hair to have too many products in there. I'M just using the foaming mousse because it hold it will hold the curls for the flexi rod and also it will give the hair a nice sheen once it's pulled out and unravel. So that's what I'm basically doing. I'M not sure how many packs of flexi rod that I use cuz. I did have a bunch of them at home already so I'd say this is about maybe four five packs of I don't even know how many come in there. I think it's twelve twelve pieces in each pack - I'm not sure, but just make sure you have a good amount to set two hair depending on the size that you're trying to do and ignore that little piece in the front there. That piece is going to be cut off when I lay the lace on my hair. It'S just extra lace that I don't need in the front. That'S why I removed it so yeah, I'm just gon na continue doing what I'm doing, I'm not like straightening the hair. Before I do this, because it's a kinky straight as you guys can see they're still a little bit of wave in there, I'm just gon na leave the natural leave as it is, and also make sure that you tuck the tips of the hair cuz. You don't want that to meet you trash your street when it's time to unravel the flexi rod, so I'm just gon na leave. You guys to watch the rest of me setting the hair, then we're gon na move on to the next step. Now this is the complete set, and I let this stay to dry for over 24 hours, just because I wanted to make sure that the hair was dried fully and properly and now unraveling the flexi rods. The hair looks so vibrant they're super bones, it's curly and there is no frizz and also to mention, while pulling out the effects you're as made sure to be gentle so that you don't cause any frizz that wasn't there before. You want to make sure the hair stays neat before you even unravel it even further, so be very gentle don't be rough and also, if you're pulling it out and the curls are like a little bit. Jumbled up. All you have to do is use your finger and like just retrace the hair in the direction that it was in the flexi rod and it goes back or bones back rather right into place. So just take your time to do so. Now I already tapped down the wig on my head. I have a ton of videos on how I glue down my lace frontals, so you guys could check that out. So I just wanted to focus more on styling this hair. Now, to do this, I'm just gently separating the hair, maybe two to four times depending on the size of it. So you could just be the judge of that how much volume you want, how big you want the hair and all of that, but also, as I said before, be gentle, because at the same time you don't want to unravel e to much where the hair starts. To look frizzy and out-of-control, you want it to be full with volume, but at the same time you don't want it to look too crazy. So that's basically what I'm doing I'm just gon na play around with it separate it until I feel satisfied with the look that I'm going for now after I've unraveled it here. I'M using this pick to pick from the roots of the week just to me.they. Here, a little bit bigger, add a little bit more volume to it. So I'm not using the paper straight through the hair, just to add a little bit more lift to the curls and that's basically it now to stop it here. You can do it, however, you want, I decided to do like I don't know like a side bang thing going on. I don't know, but I use some bobby pins to pin it on the side and lift it a little bit just play around with the hairdo. However, you want, you, can do a half up, half down type of style, so yeah, that's, basically it play around with it until you are fully satisfied with your look fish and that's basically, all there is to styling this hair. It'S super pretty. I love the pearl pattern. I just absolutely love this week this week.
