How To Wear Wig Over Knotless Box Braids

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, it's your girlfriend crazy ella and i am back again with another video in today's video i'm going to be attempting to install a wig over my nutless braid if you've not subscribed to this channel. Please press the subscribe button like share turn on the notification bell to get notified whenever i post my videos, so we are going to get straight into this video i feel like this is not going to work, but let's see so what you have to do with Your braids is, you have to separate or divide your braids into two halves into sorry into two you're, going to take a band and hold your hair backwards like i am showing you in the video you just have to take the band and hold your hair backwards. You do same with the other side. You use a band to hold the hair backwards. You try and you try to make sure it's the same way you held the other one at the back same way, you're going to hold this one, so you have to try and make sure it's equal. So then, why, as you can see, both sides are equal at the back, so what you're going to do next is you're going to criss-cross both sides of the hair and wrap it around your head. Now this part is very tricky and very stressful, because you have to make sure you tuck in the braids into your you. You have to make sure you tuck in your braids, because, as you can see, my braids some of them are longer than others. So it's quite difficult to actually talk in the braid, so you have to make sure that you tuck in the braids tightly as you can see, i'm struggling here and the struggle will continue. At this point i was already thinking of giving up because i wasn't sure if this was going to work but stay tuned by creating an imaginary picture. Usually it's something that moves, so you get a weak cap. So i made a mistake here because the wig cap wasn't big, it was pretty small, so it was a bit difficult for me to fix the weak cap over my braids and it was a struggle for me so make sure whenever you want to do this, you Have to get a wig cap that is big. That is big enough to contain your head and your braids. So what i did was, i got a band, a rubber band and i i held the the braids together, so it would stop falling off because it was pretty difficult for me to tuck in this side of the braids and it worked so now, i'm just going To take my weak cap and place it over my braids, please - and please get a recap that is big, because i was really struggling here. The recap was pretty small: it couldn't contain the braids, so you have to get a bigger recap for this to work, and i think the bigger the wig cap is the the smaller your hair becomes like the braids become, becomes more smaller because there's enough space for It to go around the weekend, but, as you can see, my braids are pushing out so much in this recap, because it's pretty small, i was really trying to adjust it here. I was really trying to. I was trying to make sure it covered the braids and no braids will stick out, so this is the best that i could do well we're going to work with it anyways. So next thing is, i just got a brush and i just brushed my edges. Well, i don't actually have edges, though yup here is the wig. This is a. Is it four by five? I think this is a four by five frontal frontal, sorry and it has a strap at the back. So what i did was i just i fixed the strap and i placed the strap underneath the braids and the wig cap boom. Okay, we're getting we're getting there we're getting there. I can see progress, i can see progress, but i don't know actually this looked. This looked good. Actually, it came out not like i expected, but i feel like some of the sides are high and the back was actually high too. So what i'm just gon na do is i'm gon na use a tailcomb to to separate what what you call it too yeah like what i'm doing in this video. I don't know what to call it yeah to divide the um, the closure, yes to open the closure, so the the hair i'm covering the closure could be removed and i just got my got to be freeze spray to lead to install the wig. Well. Actually, this is my second time installing a wig. I am not so good at it, yet i'm still learning so pardon me if i'm doing something wrong, but don't worry i'm going to get the practice make perfect. So i am just trying to install the week here. I am just trying, since i don't have a blow dryer, yet i'm just going to apply i'm just going to fan the hair to make it a bit sticky. Before i lay the hair down, then i'm going to use my tampon to press press the wig down calories, so i got a headband just to let the hair the glues get. I got a headband to make the hair stay put to let the the what's. It called to let the glue um get sticky on the on the hair for it to for for the wheel for the week to be to be too busy to be late. Oh my gosh to be for the week to stay put yeah. I'M actually not going to redo this personally, because this is actually the fourth time i'm doing this voiceover. So i'm going to let it stay this way and yeah. So i was trying to. I was trying to do my edges here, but unfortunately i i glued the hair too much. I don't know what to say so, like i, i applied too much glue, so i couldn't get any edges to be laid anyways like i said, i'm not too good with installing wigs here. This is my second time trying to install the wig so bear with me. So i'm just going to get the random hairspray and just try to spray the hair and make the loose coils. I sprayed the hairspray on my eyes, so i'm just going to comb the hair out. Actually this came out. I didn't expect this to. I didn't expect the hair to come out this way. It was shocking to me, but at the sides the sides were a bit high because of my braids and same at the back, but it's doable. You could try it at home, you could you could try it if it works for you fine comment down below if you try this and if it worked out for you, so what i'm just doing, i'm just trying to fix the hair and yeah i'm just trying To fix the hair: well, this isn't so bad, but at the sides the head, the the hair, is really high because of my braids, but this isn't bad at all and yeah. I'M glad i attempted to do this.
