Foreign welcome to the show. Okay, I'm back in Black, I had some fun as a blonde. I had a lot of fun, but I did miss this. I have to admit okay, so, as you know, welcome by the way, welcome to you, wherever you're watching from thank you for joining us. So we first launched season four of the show earlier this month and our theme has been the golden hour and I took it literally with my hair. All month long we've been celebrating wildest dreams and dreams that people could never have imagined one of my wildest dreams. I think I shared was to color my hair being a journalist for 30 years and an anchor for much of that. I was warned never to change my hair, but I decided to finally go there. I did it. I became a platinum blonde for about 30 days. Now I knew that people would be talking about it. I cannot lie, but I never predicted the wide range of things y'all sent to me on Instagram on Twitter, Facebook and the audience. So let me just I'm going to take you through some of the comments. I'Ve read over the 30 days: Tamron your hair looks so fabulous, classy love, it love, it love it yes, blonde! I'M living for this looks like blondes, do have more fun, and then I got these from the chair fair and I love y'all, because you all start with what the heck happened to your hair. Tamron love your style, but love your regular dark, hair color stay true to you. This is my favorite. You look beautiful, but the color makes you look. Older y'all really know how to hurt a girl, Tam fam. I turned 52 and you come at me like this. So, who knew that we were going to go platinum blonde and it would just turn into a whole reaction of things. But the even bigger news is that I was holding a little secret that world-renowned makeup artist, Sam fine in international hairstylist to the Stars, Chucky Amos. Even debated take a look at their debate. Hey we, okay, we're on Instagram and it's like wait. Is it a wig? Is that a wig that she's wearing? I need to know? I think it's a real hair Sam says the wig, but now we think it's a wig. I was team wig. Ah I don't know okay, well, real, quick, okay, wait because we're live. Who was team, wig, clap? Who was team? It was my hair dye. Okay, here's the real story. Take a look from the moment. I walked out the th doors kicking off our season for Premiere, which was appropriately called the Golden hour. That included my Platinum golden blonde hair with people making comments like these. We even made a few headlines and we made the talk circuit round, but the background story is one. No one knows until now and you got ta hear it hey time, fam, it's Johnny Wright. I am the head hair stylist at the terminal. Show your girl called me two weeks prior to the premiere of season four and asked me if she can go blonde and of course, that was impossible. Cameron has been coloring her hair black, since she was 14 years old. There'S no way to put bleach on her hair. It would have literally melted off. So I made a call. I am Darnell Davis and I am a wig maker for some of your favorite Stars. So Johnny wanted me to jump on board to create a wig inspired by the look that she had when she won her second image. One of the main things that needed to happen was, I had to create this week strand by strand, because we were creating this really short. Pixie look okay, so the problem was: how are we gon na get this wig from LA to New York, luckily that they all had a friend who's, a flight attendant? He saved the day - and I picked it up on Monday just in time to get it colored. I'M sure, when Jones Cameron's colorist Tamara wanted to create a golden look with her hair. So when I got the wig, it was very yellow. I added a little bit more of a platinum gold blonde and then I shadowed the roots with two different tones of a darker blonde, because it's more complementary to her skin tone. So, each morning I had to mold her hair down really flat, basically creating a lack of finish. I balanced it out by giving a deep conditioning and then I used like a concealer to paint over that to give her that ball. Cap look so you wouldn't see the black underneath the blonde, and each day of the Box, the Glam team came together to make tamra's wildest dreams come true for her golden hour season. Premiere

Curiously T: I saw it only once on one show and I thought it could be a wig! I’m glad she spoke on it! I figured it was a wig because he real hair seem healthy and bleaching your natural hair especially permed hair and you have to keep up with the roots. It’s too much to keep up with naturally. Easier for a blond wig especially if your going back to black. Oh and see that! I was right. I started responding the second I saw heading and I’m right about perms. You can’t do both! I know this personally. Going blind is almost a perm in itself but only stays straight and slick when wet! Once try it kinks back up but doesn’t feel as soft as your natural kinky hair. You either do blond and a flat iron or perm and use the iron to style. Her wig may have thrown people off also because it looked like it was touched or bumped on the sides and here he says he did use irons on her wig. She didn’t just put one on and that was it. I’m glad she put it out there. More and more people are as well as the process. Dolly Parton, Cher, Mary Jay bilge, Britney Spears, Beyoncé, stars you think and wouldn’t think wear wigs short and long of all colors. Even white women you assume have long hair. That may be trite but may be thin or sparse and won’t hold up to the styles they want or need to wear to look their polished best! You could have long thick straight hair that will not hold a curl and still wear a wig instead to not have a boring limp look that might be ok at home but not if you entertain or your looks are part of how you make money. So many people are wearing AND showing the process that the wig game has gotten better and better!
