Hair Tutorial: Big Bodywave Curls - U Part + Lace Closure

Hi youtubers its Talia. Today'S video I'm going to be showing you all how to achieve this hair look, and this is just what I like to call my 20 minute big body curls and, as you can see, the curls are really big, they're full of body and they're. Just like soft bouncy, this is my go-to look. I love this look and it can be achieved very easily. So first, what you'll need are two products both give me not two products to styling tools. You will need a curling iron, and this is just a Conner curling iron I purchased at Walmart for ten dollars, and this one has, I believe, it's one and a half inch plates. It'S almost like kind of big. It'S like this big you'll also need a flat iron and that you don't necessarily have to use a fire, but I like to use a flat iron for my feathered pieces in the front, so the flat iron I'm using as a subdued flat iron - and this is The one in it one in 3/4, inch, the hair that I'm wearing is the same hair that I've told you guys about in my previous videos, and this is Malaysian body wave hair. This is hair that I'll be selling online online hair, boutique zoom in to the bottom and an 18 inch at the top, along with a closure, a lace closure at the very top, and I cut the hair myself. So it has like a bit of a layer to it, so these kind of curls look. So that's how it looks if you guys are interested in seeing how I achieved this. Look then keep watching first, what you want to do you just wanna comb through your hair, just make sure it's no tangles in your hair and I like to flip the hair right down the center go in the back, just split it right down the center. I start in the back, and I take a section of hair about this much thumb through my phone and I'm going to curl. I'M gon na have these pros going away from the face, so I'm just started here kind of just straighten this out a little bit and then you're, just gon na wrap the hair around the curling iron, like you normally would and just make sure you go all The way to the end to make sure the curls, the hair is curled throughout the entire length of the curl, and you don't have straight ends, then I'm just gon na roll it around a little and I'm gon na hold this for a minute. Well, not a minute, but maybe like about 10 seconds and then release, and you have a curl just like that. So I'm going to do the same thing for this entire section, I'm just going to thank they just slowly getting more hair wrapping slowly. Opening the plates to grab more hair and wrap in it and plug it to the very end, and then we just hold it. Bouncy curls like that, and I always start in the back and reflect my way to the park. So now that I'm getting closer to the front, all the longer pieces of hair, basically I curl the longer piece of the hair in these shorter pieces like right up here, where I had it later. I'M gon na Flatiron those okay, so I've curled all the long pieces Flatiron for the pieces in the front and basically I'm just going to kind of pull them away from the face in like a feathering motion like that, and of course, I'm gon na I'm not Gon na leave it like this, I'm gon na finger through them. I'M gon na go ahead and do this path of the hair exactly the same way that I did this path and I'll come to you at the very end and show you how I'm going to finish the styling and I have completed the curling. So you see we have curls on both sides. Okay, so now the next thing you want to do is just start to finger it through the curls, and I just do really like this just finger through cuz. It'S like more of a like a careless curl. Look a full body purl, not so much defined, want to make sure you brush going down because you don't want any tracks or anything showing. So I make sure I do that and now I'm just going to make sure my edges are right. So you all know I have the closure in at the front. This is just a little bit of hair that I have left out and what I like to do with a little bit of hair. I have left out. Oh, I have a hair my eyes. I use my hips edges and I just apply pics to my in just like this all the way around and I use a boar bristle brush and I just brush it back and then I take a tool brush just like get it exactly how I want it. Okay, so that's how this pot looks and that's really it that's all to achieve in the curls. It'S very simple: it's my favorite method to use, because I can't get my hair done within 20 minutes.
