Chemotherapy, Hair Loss And Wigs Part Four

Hi everyone michael davids from bouffant, delaqua, hair and makeup, and this is the third third tutorial on um wigs and what the best wig for you would be um. You know whether, if you're going through chemotherapy or if you're, going through alopecia and we've covered machine made wigs and we've also covered lace front wigs with a machine made or weft top now. This wig that i have here, i'm not suggesting that this is the the perfect style for anyone, because it's actually quite extreme. It'S got light blonde ends a platinum, color and the roots are dark. Now this style of wig has become very popular in the past five to ten years, and that is the reason behind that is because the wig actually has a regrowth so um. If you'd, like your wig, to look very natural, why not put a regrowth in there because nobody's gon na question if you're wearing a wig? If it's got a regrowth, you know people may look at you and go oh gosh. She needs to get her colored up. Doesn'T she you know, but that's what we're after we're, after authentic looking hair and a good quality wig now this wig here is a lace front wig, which is the um. The fine see-through mesh at the front have a look there with the hairs that have been individually hand tied into the hairline now. This wig also has another feature: um. It has got a monofilament top, which is basically a fine fly wire mesh that is nearly invisible. So the hair is individually hand tied into the top of the wig, and you can actually see your own scalp through that. So it's like wearing a second skin they're, incredible um. Let'S have a look at the inside of this wig. So there's the um there's the top there and there we go i'll, show you the inside. So if you have a look, you'll be able to see sorry, so you see all of that that there that's that flywire, mesh and um. That'S where all of the hair is tied into i'll, actually show you something really cool. So i've got one of my led filming lights here. So i'll just turn that on it's actually quite bright. But if we get the wig, where we've got the um, the monofilament top there and i'll just pop the light. Underneath that and you can actually see the hair tied into the monofilament and the light going through. It so that's to give you an idea how the wig has been typed and if you actually get. Let me just turn this off sorry um. You can actually get this wig and it will sit on your skin. I don't know if this is the best way to show to show you that it will. It sits on your skin and you can see your skin through it i'll see. If i can find another one, so you can have a look there. We go. I'Ve got this this young lady here, so if you just have a look there, can you see on um? You can see that and how the hair parts in all areas, it's actually very, very clever. The way they do this. These um, these wigs, are very natural. They'Re not for everyone, because if you're used to having quite a big styled, um haircut or hairstyle, you might want something with the permanent teasing through there. But this style of wig gives you the freedom to be able to part your hair wherever you want or comb it back from your face, so they really are good.
