How-To Do A Ponytail Ombre/Balayage/Highlight

A tutorial on how-to go about doing a Ponytail Ombré.

And today we're going to be doing a tutorial about ponytail rings, I'm finding that it's a little bit simpler and it just saves time in the salon, especially if you don't know when the guest comes in and they have a lot of hair. I'M finding that this definitely is a little bit easier, so I'm going to show face this today on my lovely gal here I chose to do three different ponytail sections section, one here section two here and section three here, as you can see, depending on how much Hair they have how dense it is. If they have a tunnel layers, you might want to change how many details you put in the hair. I did this time. Is I actually sectioned out an inch thick of a perimeter from her ear on the one side to the ear on the other, assuming that she has a middle first, because I want to customize her face. Framing a lot of people. Don'T stay on to their lightness around their face a little bit higher, so I'm in a golden brown I'm going to actually go ahead and mix right now and I'll come back to you with my application for the volume in it later. I did 60 grams of 40 volume and certain grams of in light there I chose to do the 40 volume because of tamanna Canada's. You know it doesn't always like the greatest, so I'm going to actually show you I'm going to be parting this off. What I did with these two ponytails right here is: I just sectioned it out of the way you don't want it in their face, but I don't want it back here either. So I'm going to section this in a couple. Different sections use your judgment on your guests density of their air, but I actually I'm going to take a section just like this, and then I'm going to actually clip this out of the way. So, basically, what you want is a few different oils in one ponytail. Okay, so I'm going to take this entire section just like so, but I get my foil out and I'm going to actually put the whole foil all the way to touch the actual rubber band of the ponytail. Yes start at the bottom, and you really really really want to make sure that the hair is saturated, very saturated, as you know, once your product dries out, it stops lifting. So the question always has been will proceed. How high do you bring your Lightner to the ponytail? I want to alternate how high i go up on each section, so you don't have that harsh line. So, as you can see here, i'm just going to kind of feather on lightly. So there's about quarter inch from the ponytail to the actual product and a lot of times you'll see during my tutorials that i like to just kind of run my finger up just to soften that line. So all I'm going to do is I'm going to fold my foil once twice so there's section one and it's just going to hang like so I'm going to drop the same ponytail down. Take another section. Click this out of the way it looks like the bottom section might just have three subsections within that ponytail. So same thing. Take my oil, I'm going to put the edge of my foil right to the ponytail, really really saturate again really get in. There then same thing edge of my brush doesn't kind of just feather it up it's like, so I don't want a straight straight line across normally. I probably have gloves on, but I didn't put both on this time, soften the line, we're going to fold once and then you're going to fold twice the same thing with the edge of your foil packet. Last section here grab my foil same thing: I'm going to go to edge of oil to my ponytail. I'Ve got the key is really really saturate saturate saturate and that same thing of your school stuff. In this line a little bit make it a little bit jagged fold it bond twice and that suction system, so, as you can see, I am on 20 tail number two. So my middle section, I've already done to the cup of oil in the middle subject. So I'm going to show you actually how I'm going about applying this section parting it off getting my sections: pretty equal closes it away. So I want to show you exactly how I am applying it. I'M still putting my foil all the way to my rubber band. As you can see, but when I actually apply my color, I am NOT going all the way to the top of my ponytail. This is gon na again give you a little bit more of a diffused line, cling a little bit higher up on the size of this section again, making sure this is super super saturated and you can kind of see how much is actually left out and then I'M going to take my finger again and I'm gon na just diffuse it up a little bit, but I don't want to go to the very top and I'm going to fold it fold it again. Then I will drop my less part of this middle section down. Grab my foil again, I'm going to go all the way. Gon na spread my section off a little bit same thing with this section. You can see how I'm applying it I'm really getting in there saturate saturate, saturate and guess my favorite word and then, as you can see through here, again kind of feathering it up. Taking my finger just using this line a little bit. I am NOT going to the tap. I want to make sure this is so now I'm going to fold it and fold it again and there you have little section, I'm actually going to do the same thing. I did in this section to the tap. I'M not going to go all the way to my ponytail, I'm going to leave that out a little bit. So in my middle section, there's one two three four five front section as you can see, I finished all the back. That'S what it should look like. Three different ponytail sections with about four to five subsections with the net pointy tail, I'm going to come around the face and I'm going to actually part it off diagonally. Can I drop that section and I'm going to pin this away so I'm actually leaving out a section just like so here this is going to be left out. I'M actually going to give it one two three back comb swipe with my comb. I'M going to go in there go a little bit higher around the face and, as you can see, it's a little bit higher there and I come down a little bit lower through here again really saturate. That tree go in defuse your line a little bit through here, I'm going to fold it once fold it twice, then the section that's underneath I'm giving it one swipe back. Combing put my foil in now. All we want to do really is go to my mid section down again, I'm going to defuse my line a little bit and feel free honestly feel free to do whatever technique. You want this technique. I found kind of just diffuse it around the face. A little bit more and just a more customized curve, your guests, so I'm going to take this section here, basically enough to fit in a foil packet. I'M going to pin this out of the way I'm going to one two: three go in with my foil, a little bit higher around space as you can see, and then I'm going to bring it down my line a little bit. Okay and then there's a little bit section, that's left out, I'm just going to back pull that one. So, as you can see, everything around the face will be in foil next section down views your line fold and then I'm just going to do this. I'M going to finish that up here and then I'm going to also do the other side and then we're going to let it process and result. I didn't own it. I didn't do anything else. I probably could tone it in theory to get somewhat the warmth on. Well, because it's mannequin, I just really wanted you guys to see the technique that was being done. You can even see right around her face what I want a little bit higher the coils and that's the result. I got and then the back same thing more salad. So if I had to change something, I would maybe go a little closer to the ponytail holder with this ponytail up here, because in Syria most of our cast wants to have the right attire. I think that's. The only thing I can chance is ethical. I love it so much and kind of see how it turned out so again, save so much time and energy in order to comb out a bunch of the gap. Combing put a pain in the butt share. This video subscribe and like it until

Christy Bruski: I wouldn't recommend using box color if you have color on your head already. Bleach would be the route to go, but you may have to tone the hair. However, I used professional hair color. Thank you
